This scale was used in my first video (and will continue to be used in future videos). I have a brifit .001 scale.
Cannot shut off the auto off feature.
And seems to read about 2mg high.
Overall works well but frustrated by it shutting off while working and then I have to recalibrate and re-tare.

How to reset it? Mine displays 500g when putting the 50g calibrator on the tray

CALIFORNIA GOLD RUSH it’s not a bad scale at all. It’s spot on when I check it with the 50g weight and it’s durable.
@@WildSchneiderOutdoors nice! Little trick to for if you don't have a weight some day to check a nickle weights 5 grams even.

Luis Jimenez I would say contact the seller and try and get a replacement. I have not had that issue yet.
This one seems stable..the one i bought goes into negative weight when nothing is on it and fluctuates alot when a penny is on it..i dont like it..it is an EGO brand.
ok, but how accurately does it measure? I want to order today & I want to check the accuracy level. R U happy with it?
Sam .Incredible it will measure down to 1/10th of a gram. I use it to measure very small amounts of gold and silver and have had it so accurate that I have seen down to 0.01 grams when weighing out flour gold and very small flakes. I am happy with it. It’s been over a year since I bought it and it still works great and have never had to re-calibrate it. Hope this helps

I was concerned as this was manufactured and sold from another country and when ordering it was also in another language!
Hey does the brifit measure every 1 tenth or just by every 2 tenths grains? I had one like that and it would only do .2, .4, .6, etc. Couldn't get a .1 .2 .3. So if I needed 5.1gr I'd only be able to get a 5.0 or 5.2.
Pep Nyc it does go by all tenths. I have had .7 and .5 as well as .2 and .8. I use it to measure out weights of gold so I need it to be accurate.
@@WildSchneiderOutdoors I just looked at the Amazon link you provided. They have a "newer" version and like 4 other different versions of that scale. They've been busy little beavers in the last year or so. Confusing. Sheesh.
Pep Nyc I’m sorry about that! It’s an older video. But I haven’t had any issues with it and it still calibrates perfectly after all this time

@@pep729 i got the upgraded version. Does has 500g max which is dope, and bigger weigh platform. Doesn't have the rubber flip cover, just a plastic one but its pretty legit.. Wish they had more color options tho
Can the lid come off to use as a dish?
Maybe if you broke it. It is hinged wigged a metal rod through it.

I think it’s just down to the hundredth. They may have a new one that goes out one more place.
