However, sometimes I choose not to use the exact same words as the artist because I feel like Tom would understand it better and it sounds better this way If I translate more songs in the future, I'll try to stick a litle bit more to the original lyrics, but sometimes it can be hard

@@kenz8128 My problem isn't necessarly you adapting things to make it clearer, it's you (and maybe others) translating a word into something completely different which changes the meaning/makes a sentence have 0 meaning when it has one, or when there is a perfectly suitable expression/word in English and instead you make your life harder for no reason. You can just use those and then mention small tidbits of context like expressions/idioms down the line, it's no big deal as long as you just translate the sentence accurately.
