THREE TRAIN'S MEET!!! UP 8527, UP 7710, and AMTK 163 All Meet, 3rd St. Railroad Crossing West Sac CA

[Filmed May 23, 2019] Check out this rare occasion meet with three trains on two tracks! The first train to come through was a Union Pacific Railroad Autorack train eastbound after Amtrak California Zephyr #5 came through which will also become a southbound and crew change at Brighton meeting the second train a westbound Union Pacific Railroad manifest freight train headed for the Bay Area passes with right after a almost four hour late Amtrak California Zephyr #6 eastbound on the UPRR Martinez Sub all passing through the 3rd Street Railroad Crossing in West Sacramento California heading into the Sacramento Amtrak Station and into Midtown Sacramento to my left and exiting the Sacramento area to my right headed for the Bay Area. Amtrak #6 left from its originating station three and a half hours late for some reason. Also I caught it again having its locomotives in numeral order and again with AMTK 163 and 164 P42DC's.

DUDE!!! AWESOME 3-WAY CATCH! You got seriously lucky to have all 3 meet up at the same crossing, especially one with 2 TRACKS!! I like the trains too, mainly the autorack and Amtraks and I also like that the crossing has 1 WC Hayes electronical bell and what I think is a Safetran Type 2 Bell. Great catches!

just imagine if it was on 28th st. in sacramento. 3 train meet can happen at that crossing because its a 3-track crossing. all 3 can meet

The third track at 28th St is labled a main #3 but it's not long enough to have a third train meeting on it. It's used to park MoW equipment only. Its shorter than a siding. Its basically only a run around track.

Also the third track at 28th St doesn't turn back into the main it turns out from the Martinez Sub so its impossible for a meet to happen on that track as it's used to park stuff. But a meet like this on main 1 and 2 just like here could happen.
