- Sure, some airlines welcome dogs on board. But on Bark Air, dogs are royalty. Bark has teamed up with a private charter company for a new era of dog-first travel. Bark Air has thought of everything to make the dog's flying experience exceptional. And once aboard the flights, dogs live the good life. “Our focus is on making your dog as happy, relaxed and as in good of a mood as possible,” Dave Stangle, Bark's VP of Brand Marketing, told Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall.

Disagree: all it takes is one lost dog, small injury, allergy, etc for the owners to blame the flight doggy attendants.
@@ishikawagoemon4397 I'm a dog person and worked in animal hospitals. The noise can be annoying and hectic regardless of you love animals. I'm sure pilot area will be sound proof, but attendants could possibly have noisy environment.

The flights cost $12,000 roundtrip, or $6,000 one-way ($8,000 between New York and London). These prices include only one person with their dog. A second person would be charged an extra $6,000.

These aren’t going to be $300 flights for your regular joe though. The overall price will cost well around $12,000 (round trip) The only one who will be getting abused is your bank account. Lmao.

This is a bad business model because it’s 1.) Overpriced 2.) There’s no guarantee they actually do all the things you instruct them to do. 3.) Most dogs aren’t going to respond any better to strangers and if your dog bites their staff, they will sue you into oblivion.

Besides the silliness of the commercial, I would really love an airline more accepting towards pets. I’ve heard so many horror stories about animals dying on flights I would never fly with my pets if I could avoid it.
