Surah Al-Mu'minun 23:5-7

Except [Only] with their wives or those their right hands possess,[female slaves from the war booty] for then they are free from blame.
*But whoever seeks (to fulfil his desires) beyond that, then those are the transgressors*

The only way a man and women can relieve their sexual desires is strictly through their spouse, as females from the war booty is extremely rare/non existent today as sadly the Muslims have abandoned Jihad against kuffar. These same ayat are what make masterbation haram and whoever does that are transgressors with Allah, only their spouse can satisfy them so they must be patient with their desires until then.
Also your nonsense point about making women financially independent your just spewing the modernist & feminist rhetoric: I am not talking about the women who have a halal job with all of the conditions such as there is 0 presence of men, they are covered with the full Hijab & Jilbab .. & Niqab if they take the view that it is obligatory, the place she works is not of a haram type or income such as working in a bank (interest), she can fulfill her rights at home and her children are not deprived, she must have the permission of her husband if married, she must not be beautified if leaving the house and all of the conditions of a halal job apply to her. "Men are the caretakers and maintainers of women"
So stop this path that your treading and come back to the book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger (Hadith) S.A.W. If you refuse to do so then remain silent. May Allah swt guide you and me

Same guy who has doubts in the preservation of the quran. This is the outcome of being brainwashed in IUM and being taught to hate the classical scholars, thanks to whom we have the Quranic, Hadith, and Fiqh sciences present with us today.
I dont understand the point of people like hamza yusuf. If its permissle to reform the shariah law and rule with democratic law, why cant you then reform rules about salah, wudu marriage etc.? Where is the line ? What are their evidences? I really dont get their point.

Our lives are for Him! So if He wants to do anything He wants with us then so be it! Did you create the hands? Or even one strand of hair on these bodies which Allah entrusted upon our souls?

I understand you have an opposing view, but you’re dismissing them like they have no knowledge or that they want to purposefully destroy the religion. All I’m saying is, they are speaking from an academic mind and using islam as their bases to form their opinions.

@@ibmsulaymani Thank you for your response. I think the hard part to take in from what they’re saying for some people is that they speak in generalities and they don’t necessarily state specifics. I also think it is hard for us to judge them when we don’t hear specifics. Maybe they mean a similar situation with what Umar (RA) did with stealing for a period of time.

These people on the other hand say that the sharia in its entirety shouldn’t be implemented because it’s outdated, problematic, bizarre and that there needs to be discussions on reforming these laws.
