Jerry always carries me home. ⚡️🙏⚡️
this needs ten trillion views
Pearls before swine.
Toujours dus.
Dust and diamonds
nah... this is meant to be seen live... Like I have. The real scene died with Jerry.
@calmistheway oh please. Coming from someone else "who's seen Jerry", quit being a holier than thou, puritanical Dead gatekeeper. The music never stopped
I would have to say WE Need This to have ten trillion views_ this doesn't need a thing!❤️🔥
Beautiful Fare you well, fare you well
I love you more than words can tell
Listen to the river sing sweet songs
To rock my soul
On my birthday I'll never forget that day
Great memory - might want to remove for your own security though. Information & all that. ;)

Went so many times to see the Dead add Alpine Valley then we're the best times
This truly a Gem 💎
Thank you
Beautiful solo
Unreal
Leaving California for good in a few weeks. This seems somehow appropriate. I don't think I'll be back...
It's very hard to leave California. The way I looked at it was there's other beauty and more to come out there in the beyond. Maybe not the same beauty but other beauty for sure, and I found it. And when I embraced it, I told of a land far away called California and all it had to offer and they listened and I listened and we learned. If your a Deadhead you also come to realize that without their travels there would be no Dead as interesting as that which they are. Amen and safe travels 🙏
@@canaanmarshall7882 Thank you. I appreciate it...
I’m running home to Colorado. The spirit is just better there. I’ve never been somewhere and felt so at home as I did in the Rockies. California was a fun experiment, but it never felt right in the Sierras the way it did living on the great divide
@@stevewells4405 I can respect that. California, or me, IS home. But others have made it impossible for me to live out the time I have left there. Can't afford it. We are now in my wife's home state of Florida. We're in horse country, surrounded by great oaks and greenery, but it still pains me that a once great state is being steadily destroyed by politicians and corporations all hell bent on sucking the residents dry.
Appreciate the video footage of this great rendition ❤
This song always sounds like a hymnal to me.
Jerry is literally the oldest looking 39-year-old ever by 1982. It's astonishing how much he aged from 1977 to 1982.
heroin sadly
He was truly one of the greatest performers in our lifetime.
Should’ve seen my father at 39
Yeah it strange to think that bobby at 75 is healthier than Jerry was at 40.
Projecting...
Clean as hell
Thank you for posting this
Please and thank you 😊
This as close as I can get to Jerry and I feel at this time was the best to see them live
That's how he left us
Heart always
4:13 - 4:50....Perfect guitar solo....
Anybody notice Jerry messed up the lyrics and bob tried to overcorrect coming in hard?
actually, Bob did the first mistake ( 2nd chorus) and later on Jerry did a mistake on the 3rd chorus and bob corrected him
Jerry was just 39 here and it's obvious he was in extremely bad shape here. He needed to stop touring and clean up, but who's going to tell Jerry to stop using hard drugs? Who ever could?
Gotta help a brother out
@@elmoblatch9787 Seems to me that he had a system that worked. He lived a full life and contributed as only he knew how.
100%
عاشقتم، جری!!!
right on!
@@charlie.something It means “I love you, Jerry!” In Persian. His favorite flavor 😋
Haha i am also persian. Love grateful dead!
@@fku952 Damet garm, dadaash!
Sweeeeet !
wait, what verse is this? what chorus? Oh it's 4 am, f it. Let's just get this done (note Bob smiling as Jerry meanders around among possible lyric choices. Still, nice simple, sweet solo.
Lol, and I was waiting for the line '...many worlds I've come since I first left home' because that one always choked me up, but unfortunately, Jerry sung the lines with 'lovers come and go' instead. You're right about his solo, Uncle Skip. It was very nice indeed! :-)
I love the fuck ups the mostest!
This is prime live jerry
Maybe Bob Dylan played this song because it sounds so much like Bob Dylan.
