Torres Ayala working on a Mitsubishi Outlander xls 2008 and found out the leveling link rod in the rear had snapped in half triggering the dash light. Searched everywhere on line till I can across ur video. Followed ur lead, found it and fixed it. You save me some serious $$$. Mitsubishi said they “didn’t know” what the light meant and would have to bring it in and leave it for a “diagnostic” test... Thanks again!!

I have imported Toyota Alphard 2015 Hybrid car from Japan and recently I found the error messages showing Headlight system malfunction, But the headlamp and frog lamp are running alright. So I sent my car to mechanic and find the Headlight auto leveling has error, and error code is U0242, lost communication with Headlamp control Module B. Our electrician could not figure out and I just wonder if you have come across with the similar situation. Thank you very much.

I just had to install new low beams in my 02 IS300 and as I'm sure you know you have to remove the bumper and then the actual headlights just to change out the bulbs. I installed the lows and had bought high beam replacements so I didnt have to worry about it in the future but when my friend was trying to install the passenger side high beam he got frustrated and started turning the automatic leveler. Once I saw what he was doing I yelled at him to stop and forced it out of his hands explaining that he wasnt supposed to do that in the non angriest while being super angry tone. Once I got them back on that stupid light has come on so I'm wondering if theres a way to correct what that dumbass did by turning it or should I check the sensors as you did in this video. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. P.s. you gotta new follower keep it up

Hi I have IS200 and my headlights are aiming far to high...Icon does not lit on a dash so that means that does sensors are fine? When I tried to lower lights by putting them on setting no 5 not much really happen... Thanks great video

IS200s have manual height levelling switch, that you can control from the dash. The IS300s came with xenon that are auto-levelling, thus having these 2 sensors on front and back. Your IS200 doesn't have that sensor, just a levelling motor on the back of the headlights.

Learned where the sensor is at? How to open it and apparently if it’s a bad sensor that it won’t make sounds when you’re manually moving it. I’ll take one of these videos over everyone of the videos of someone watching someone else do it for them.
