One the great thing about these RR mixes is i usually only know about a third of the songs, so some serious new tunage. Some of them turn out to be from 2 months ago others are over 40 years old, whatever the case I'm very grateful to have them in my life now, now. Thank you!!
A lot of skill in choosing and mixing songs based on Joe Negro aka "David Lee" musical style. All the sets in this collection and his last one are a masterpiece. Please do not stop. You are always on my top. Thank you
I love the way you treat the sounds from this era brings by the memories of an era in such as new and fresh way that made such fantastic music , I am looking to bring some of that flavour to the midlands in 23 I have a proposal I wanted to run by you ,we meet in London back in the 80s/90s record and tape exchange 👍🏾
It's late 1991 (or poss early '92?). I have work the next day but Dave Lee is playing a 1am-4am show (his first I think) on London's Kiss FM. He drops Slave's Steal Your Heart and takes me deeper into a world of obscure disco, boogie and jazzfunk. What a fabulous experience it has been to check out his funky record collection these last thirty years. Thanks so much, Dave.
48:47 for me epitomises how great the 90's house scene was, masters at work for me were the producers of that era, their back catalogue of tracks is just astounding from seeing them in Leeds back in the day, much obliged. Pioneers of house music....much love🥰
You're a woman with finesse and taste. MAW is and will always be da shit. Excuse me my language but there's no other way to describe this duo. Many years ago I once had the chance to experience the sound of MAW life. They played songs people didn't even know. I was like the only one who knew every single track. As a "real" househead I enjoyed it very much!

At a guess I’d say it’s a forthcoming production of his, maybe as Akabu, with Maurissa Rose on vocals, sounds like ‘Open The Earth’?
