    You teach me precalculus concepts better than any of my precalc or calc teachers could teach it.

    Holy Cow. My advisor set me up with an online precalc class, and there is no teaching. there is very little contact or videos or anything. these videos are saving my life when it comes to midterms. I'm learning it and its incredibly less frustrating. thank you!!

    Thank you for being such an amazing instructor, I've dealt with math insecurities my entire life but with how you explain things and empathize with your audience has literally made all the difference. Thank you for all that you do!

    Hi professor Leonard, I am an Italian Ingenieur, never had a so clear and enthusiastic professor in my entire carrier, you are far better than the best of them. I am studying again all calculus 1-2 from your videos, I hope you will add with time an enormous amount of videos and covering the state of the art of the entire mathematic, humanity would be thankful for ever :). Thank you very much Professor.

    This is unfair. I shouldn't be paying my school $1500 for this course when I'm learning it all from Professor Leonard.

      Should've taken the CLEP test, then it would only cost you about $100, and most colleges will give you credit for it.

      I know your comment is 4 years old but I feel the same way. I'm being forced to take what is essentialy algebra II (not even precalc) again, because I went back to school for another degree and my old algebra II class no longer counts toward precalc or calc I (it got changed). And well, I'm also teaching myself with chatGPT and Professor Leonard. I've learned so much already :( It's way better than the stupid ALEKS software they make me use.

    Thanks for the
    videos. My son learn a lot from your lectures in Intermediate Algebra. We were hoping the Precalculus lecture can be a longer. Thank you again !!

      I think "Calculus 1" is manageable after you have covered the basics of Algebra and Trigonometry.
      Your son could try watching some of professor Leonard's "Calculus 1" videos - that playlist actually starts out with 4 long review videos.

    uni basically assumes you know perfectly trig and college algebra;
    then they teach you within a month the whole calculus 1 and 2;
    then in other 2 months they teach you calculus 3, diff equations and complex numbers;
    and its assumed you are a calculus master now.
    and you pay fees to get your education rushed because professors care more about their personal ongoing research then educating the youth.
    educational system in a nutshell: "learn a lot, but never understand why the things are the way they are"

    Sir.. Please clear my doubt..so does it mean equation of circle x2+y2=r2 is not a function..but it is considered as a function in conic section isnt it? I dont know please help..

    • @Sir_Infiden
      @Sir_Infiden Рік тому

      I am not sure but probably we are not considering such things as function for now coz they are of higher level, he mentioned in early videos that we will deal with such cases in calculus 2

      @@idontwantgoogletofindoutmy558 Yeah! I got a Calculus textbook and decided to complete all the questions because I changed my major to Math. It’s been challenging, but I've managed to finish all the videos from Pre-Calc and Calc 1, and I'm almost done with Calc 2. Hopefully, I can finish Calc 3 before school starts in late August.

    So every horizontal line is a function,whereas every vertical line is not a function..( i.e x=5)
