About the 5bb LJ hand exemple, I think there is a big problem in the sim. UTG1 don't have the option of flatting the BTN squeeze when we flat as LJ. And I think if we offer the possibility of flatting the BTN sqz, UTG1 won't fold anymore 77-TT/AQo/AJ/ATs etc and it makes less profitable for BTN to sqz. I think this effect impact a lot 5bb LJ strategy after UTG1 open
Thanks very much for the video. But I think some stuff you mention is not very accurate. This is because you are not considering future game which is very important because from utg you are posting next hand, so 22 33 A2o A3o must be a jam with 3bb for sure. Please correct me if I am wrong
funny how BU flat and hope about a jam of BB to deny a lot of UTG's equity and make him in a good shoes to double call ... just as if BU and BB collaborate to destroy UTG xD
how about a slightly different situation with real people (real hand): limps to BN with 15 BB who limps, we have KJs with 12BB in the small blind and Big Blind has 10 BB on the stone bubble of an MTT. Should we 1. limp to induce BB shove 2. raise small to to squeeze 3. Jam to isolate BN or take it down PF
It all depends on the other players tendencies and how big of a bubble and how many people are left, payout structure etc etc. a machine can never answer this
Fold. That hand is garbage if called if you shove. On the stone bubble, id honestly limp the small bb in your scenario at best.Bb will not raise enough in practice, they are getting a free flop. When they raise in a live tournament , probably strong 99 percent of the time. You can fold to raises live or online from the bb raise after you limp, because you're much more likely very behind in real life situations. If you think about it, you have a lot of checks from the bb.
This is a misleading video because GTO doesn't consider you're hitting the blinds next hand and will be calling any two cards next hand. Folding 22, 33 would be a mistake (according to the AI)
Would be interesting to run these spots with FGS (if it makes sense with the positions) Edit: oh and symmetrical stacks of 7bbs also never happen, so ranges would be very different because of that alone
I enjoy these videos and they can be informative. But they are not realistic, MTTs have become zombie flip offs, fish never fold any pair for any amount to any action. Need to run well vs fish to do well
you do understand that by reading your own post you can easily see how to crush these fields. oh fish never fold a pair? fuckin take em to value town and shove ur 75bb stack in their face. but i bet you dont do this even a little bit enough.
@itsrrraven again, you must run well to take advantage. Getting it in with over pairs or Ak racing is only as good as winning those same spots multiple times in the same mtt. There is something inherently wrong with the online poker landscape, granted my experience the last year n half or so has been exclusively on GG poker and even though still winning player. Have been on a 600 MTT break even stretch getting it in with best hand or best equity 90% the time.
Did you know you can sometimes flat call a 2bb RFI with a 5bb stack? 🤯
No and how did you get into my bathroom?
ofc , it makes sense, cause you dont have fold equity preflop..
"breaking news: solvers discover the stop&go!" :)
Good video, thank you!
Funny spot in the 5bb flat call 2bb raise example after everyone shoves and you call with KTs and QTs but fold KJs
I've been playing a micro stack most of my life. It gets laughed at often, but I do what I can with it.
the 44 example is very smart by the machine im loving this
Yeah, that explanation made me realize again why I love this game
Playing a micro stack in MTTs is all about patience and picking the right spots. Time your shoves wisely, and let every chip count!

On Q32tt, are we folding T-high flush draws to a shove? Those cells are completely blue.

I’ve been marking people fish for flatting on sub 10bb from the SB for years. Turns out I’m the fish 🎣
Haha me2. I guess we can close a leak in our own game now at least.

very ... true and not only these you should probably rfi 40 there

Zombie flip offs? Your games sound supersoft and printy 🤩
@@joas162 gotta run well first. Ggpoker mtts, land of the 4b jam 150 bb w 77 utgr vs mp 3b. Or 22 for 50bb same same.
@@Alexandertygreatthat sounds like you are playing $2 tournaments
