We install Tein's coilovers on a Tesla Model Y. Ride quality definitely has improved over stock suspension. This kit retails for about $1200, so not too bad considering it's a coilover kit that allows for adjustable height options, while improving ride quality and handling.

I’ve been running these coilovers on my TSX since 2016. They’re still running great after 50k. I set them to the stiffest setting and all my passengers say that it’s the most comfortable setting. Counterintuitive to what I thought would be most comfortable.

You said it's adjustable lower or higher than your current setup. Can you adjust it to stock height? Also, did you try it with the softest settings? If so, how was the comfort running into bumps/potholes compared to the initial setting (middle)? Thanks!
Yes, you can get it back to around stock height if you wanted. We didn't try the softest setting. If we were to, we'd expect it to have a lot more of a "roll" feeling but feel like some where in the middle setting is the best.
With the new 2022 model Y performance comfort suspension from Giga Berlin, how much of a softer ride will it be with either Tein or Ohlin suspension on the 21” wheels?
Not sure, we haven't gotten a Tesla from Giga Berlin

Appreciate the vid and comments on these! I’m looking for comfort all the way. If set to the softest would I feel less of the bumps? Also does that affect ride height?
@@gnawshus007 It shouldn't affect the ride height tho you can adjust the ride height on the flex z coilovers.
@EVS Motors, what height did the Model Y end up settling in at for front and back? Also, how easy it is to adjust the height if I need to tweak it later on?
Hard to answer as difficulty really depends on your mechanic experience/skill level. If you can install it the kit yourself, then it's not too hard to adjust.
@@EVSMotors when you lowered it initially, did you have to make any adjustments out of the box? Or was that the default lowering height what you had in the video?

I found a good deal on eibach lowering springs. Would they pair ok with the tein shocks?

Where did client purchase the Tein kit? I can't find it anywhere. Also wondering if it fits the Performance model which it should.
We sell them and we have about 2 left as of right now. This Y is a performance.

Sorry for the question but I have 2 hrs looking for the Tein Flex Z for my 2023 MYP and can’t seem to find where to buy them from. I looked on the Tein website and was able to find the coilovers but don’t have an option to make a purchase. Help please

What are the procedures to adjust rebound after installation?
Have to turn the adjustment knobs on each coilover to whatever setting you like

we weren't on the softest and we didn't feel them much, so i doubt we'll feel them on the softest.
