At first person tries to recall his inner world and trying different types of practices and doings , but he easily forgets inner world when busy in world affairs. Then there comes a time when he will become tired of every practices and doings, .. and his sensitivity start to increase. Then there comes a time when his sensitivity becomes so deep that he does not need to remember his inner world but he will get reminder and messages from everything around him and whatever happening inside or outside of him. Everything drags him inside, and he becomes so deep that he starts to understand the inner language which is soundless and formless . Then there comes a time when he will become stunned, surprised by vast beauty , by unlimited joy vaster than any ocean , stillness deeper than any valley. Then he will see his face in the mirror and will be surprised that he never saw and met this person before and everything looks utterly new.
Tony's perspective always reminds me that exchanging new concepts for a bunch of old concepts isn't the answer. The goal isn't to "do" something additional or new. It's more about letting go or stepping back, and stopping the habitual "doing."

The truth is you are already having the experience. You are everything . Right here right now. I would suggest getting a hold of some good mushrooms from somebody you trust. Or growing them yourself. Initially a person pretends that he is awake. Because he thinks that ,he knows more, he talks more , he struggles more he ask more, he does more. Then one day he sits deeply engrossed into him , Then suddenly he found that he is actually sleeping but not awake. Once someone in reality found that he is sleeping , then sound of wind, then sound of word, then small action , then small gesture make him awake. This sleep is very near to awakening.
emptiness is not a vacuum, it is radical---its innate intelligence experiences itself, its infinite manifestation through which radical emptiness enjoys itself. Emphasizing that emptiness is just vacuum, leaves out the other pole of its nonduality.
Awakening is Enlightenment so there is Enlightenment or there wouldn’t be Awakening. He seems to be there because he talks about it...”When awakening happens.” So there is a process of unveiling the illusion in our heads.
I wish he would not describe how wonderful awakening is because that makes seekers. Anyway... It’s like we never deal fully with the separation that’s apparently happened with our mother and we try to seek things to be boundless again ... ie just as it was experienced before the disturbance of mother not being with us all the time. Her absense triggered inertia against that change from mother being with us to sometimes being absent. We often resist as a child mother’s absence. The feeling of mom not being with us and the frustration of trying to make her come to us is the very energy that’s going into the lines that are perceived around the body to make the boundary between me and not me. We start to see what moves under ‘our’ motivation within the body, and what doesn’t move under ‘our’ motivation, which is then sensed as the outside world around us. What we can and can’t make happen outside of the body is what builds the image of ourselves as located and within the lines of our skin. If all this were happening with no feeling to it it wouldn’t create the sense of a me-located-here. But there IS energy and feeling to the difficulty making mom come to you for example. We realise we are just one little being with only so much power to make things happen in the world around us. Along with this boundary that makes this me and world around me is also the sense that boundlessness is destructed and in comes the aim to seek our mother or what seemed to be the case energetically while we were near mom. The presence and realness of this sense of my located inner self and the outer world that surrounds it are caused by this sense of not being able to control everything around us. The process of absence and presence of mom has disturbed the whole sense of our apparent experience of the world. Inertia comes and that puts the energy and meaning to those lines that arise mentally as they highlight the body from the world around. The frustration is what makes things seem more present and real than they would without that frustration. Without it and all the mental impressions that happen with it, there would not even be a sense of a real me and a real world around me. So liberation is partly described by the complete loss of motivation to control anything around us at all. Any attempt to make the boundless happen will bring the frustration about more intensely and so will have the opposite effect and will bring more of a me intensity. In fact anything that is attempted to bring about the end of frustration is going to have no effect because the motivation is obviously coming from the frustration or seeking energy itself because that’s all there is. It would simply be the expression of the frustration based structure, not the way to end it. The absolute end of hope or desire to control anything has to happen in order to generate the necessary impetus for the shift tony talks about and even then there’s no certainty it will happen. This hopelessness cannot be brought about deliberately because anything deliberate is the expression of hope aswell as frustration. If you started trying to stay away from people and be alone that would also fail because it would intensify frustration and there’s the sense you can always change your mind and you’re constantly hoping. You can’t push the giving up of hope without creating frustration. What you try to do is always about the hope or anticipation of getting somewhere or making something happen. That doesn’t trigger liberation. It can’t be made to happen. Nothing you can do will ever bring about liberation because liberation is the opposite of any kind of hope or control. Although I have heard that sometimes liberation just happens in the middle of any experience. You might be out at a restaurant and bang! Lol 😂 who knows why that would happen! You can do things at work, make some money but you can’t bring about liberation in any way whatsoever. In all likelihood this realisation will make you stop reading about liberation and just accept a life of wonderful experiences that can be generated through various hopeful means. The only thing in life you can’t bring about is liberation so don’t worry, you can still bring about a hell of a time!!! It’s also only possibly the opinion of Tony parsons. Awakening might not even be possible of human life...it could all be speculation. There may be no liberation at all, just a speculation of such that certain people are capitalising on. So really the best advice is to forget about all this and just look to build your life the way you want it. Hope and improvement. Time. A beautiful tomorrow. This advice is really just a natural inevitable conclusion to this kind of non dual talk. Once you realise it can’t be achieved, you can stop wasting time trying.
@@waloacme impossible for you to make liberation happen yes, but certainly not impossible to have a pretty darn wonderful life. Go out there, find the things you feel motivated to find and heal what needs to be healed. Get therapy if that may help you feel more contented. Life is not wisely handled if we start to see it as all about attaining liberation. Liberation is not the result of some conscious effort. It really is best to forget about all this and just look to be true to your own current self and maybe try to understand your own life and the things that make you feel sad or whatever. Try to get into the details of what is going on in your own psyche and what is different about you from other people. Keep looking at your own reactions as you interact with others and listen to others. Learn about the nature of yourself and have that adventure. You may find you develop to be somebody fighting for some cause or other that you can’t even imagine right now. It’s no use trying to escape the reality of the me. Liberation is and must remain irrelevant to you.

He’s actually speaking of reality as unconditional love. That’s worth listening to, don’t you think so? And also it’s worth incorporating into your mind, with which you choose the opposite to maintain the false idea of yourself as a separated individual. It’s not something that really happened, but given you think it is, it’s worth listening to someone who doesn’t think so, and sees thinks actually as they are in reality.

Tony appears but there's nothing more to find than a mere name and/or a mere appearance. Appearance and its emptiness are at the same time. Form is emptiness, emptiness is form. As said by the Buddha. No nihilism and no materialism. No nothing and no everything, but both. It's a subtle subject though. Emptiness is just a word used for It is as it is or we can say Reality-as-i-is. Nothing more nothing less. All this seeking with words is just trying to find an answer when there's no answer to find, nothing new to grasp on.

But 'personal material possessions' do block these 'no- one here' concepts. This is one of the few the 'flaws' in Tony's beautiful talks. I asked him once bluntly in a Amsterdam meeting some years ago: 'If you are no- one, then you wouldn't mind if i take no-ones wallet? because i have still an ego. He laughed and made a joke. I got it..Didn't push it But still. Something is off. If there is truly no-one & it's all one huge happening..How can there be one exception. The biggest illusion of all, namely 'personal stuff & wealth?
Now nothing has become something that can be explained. There is no aliveness, no happening unless there is "someone" realizing it. Now you call that someone "no one". Doesn't matter what name is given to it. The game is the same. And the game has to come to an end.

@@ryankooly1220 That tallies with 'my' experience. There is definitely the perception of the appearance of a person and this person's needs do seem to be supremely important. This latter part is what I presume gets referred to as 'ego' The deluded appearance of a person (and other objects) can cease and 'my' experience of that was that the importance needs of this illusary person ceased too. No illusion..no illusary needs. For me the illusion returned to varying degrees having ceased for a few periods. The experience left no doubt...direct experience is direct experience. What causes the cessation of this illusion is another matter. The degree to which any method (or non method) provides the desired effect seems to be very unpredictable.
Consciousness is all there is. All manifestation is merely the functioning of consciousness. Some day my apparent vehicle will be taken to the junk yard

And, although I wouldn't recommend 'gurus' as a source of knowledge: you naturally seek things which will aid such negotiation.....The absence of such 'negotiation' can only be concurrent with clinical death....So whatever else may, or may not, have been realized 'about life': that you 'don't exist' is not one of them.....Anyone who claims otherwise is talking straight out of their arsehole. It was not the person Jesus that realized enlightenment, it was enlightenment (Oneness) that realized the illusion of the person Jesus. The person disappeared in that happening. No person ever gets enlightened, the person has to vanish and then enlightenment happens to no one.
Did you get that? "No person has ever become enlightened" Quote/Unquote. Enlightenment is just like all the other "carrot on the sticks" that religions offer. Do this and you get that. It's really that simple: the monkey does not press the button unless he gets a banana first. Do this and you get the prize! Full enlightenment. Then you can walk around with your nose in the clouds thinking about how you are extra special now that you are enlightened! Ego enlightenment does not count. That is your mind bullshitting you. I keep returning to Tony because he tells it like it is without the bullshit, fanfare and ceremony. If this is the truth, then why pretend otherwise? Anybody who says that you can be enlightened has a vested interest in fooling you. Enlightenment is a scam, pure and simple.
There are many contradictions in Tony’s message and behaviour. Firstly, he preaches everything is ‘meaningless’ and there is ‘no one’ yet he is married to another person. This implies that he feels that there is ‘another’ and derives meaning in the concept of commitment to them. If everything is just ‘empty fullness’ and meaningless and ‘in free fall’ (his teaching) and there are ‘no others’ then why commit to another person exclusively? Furthermore during this COVID pandemic, he has cancelled his seminars and started posting zoom teachings instead. Why has he cancelled his seminars? Is he afraid of the virus affecting his health and his ‘story of me’ - just like the rest of us? If everything is truly meaningless he would just continue as normal and not care for the rules of social distancing - or try to escape a virus which ‘isn’t real’. He continues to upload Zoom videos during the crisis - maybe to promote his ‘apparent’ ‘meaningless’ brand (his words) during the crisis. His website contradicts his own teachings - for example he says everything is ‘just empty fullness’ and we are trapped in a ‘dualistic story’ yet goes on to describe the residentials with language that affirm the dualistic story such as ‘we will be staying in this beautiful place, with lovely gardens and a full breakfast’. Why not embrace the ugly venues too, Tony? I hope you don’t delete this comment, but address the questions logically. This is not meant to be offensive - but a critique of your philosophy - it seems you are misleading people to a nihilism which you don’t practice
The loss of the sense of a separate individual self with free will and choice doesn’t imply that the mind-body will lose all its preferences for nice experiences, companionship, comfort, and health. In fact, outwardly there might be almost no change at all. The mind-body remains exactly as it was, but without the overlay of the false self and without the unconscious bodily and mental tension trying to hold it all together. Also, all language is necessarily dualistic. The question is, is there a belief that this duality is solid and real? Or is such language simply used for convenience?
If you walk on a field and feel attracted to a flower, you take it with you and take care for it as long as you can, does that mean you rejected all other flowers? In true love, all is loved by loving even only one. Because you know that one stands for all. It’s spontaneous, it’s because you love yourself, you can’t keep it in, it has to be shared. Polyamorie, although a wonderful thing, is not necessary for unlimited love. Also, someone’s behavior is not a good indicator let alone argument for the credibility of someone’s teaching. If the teaching is true, behavior can’t make it false. Truth stays true, that’s what makes it true. Tony’s teaching is very simple and there is no thing in life that can contradict it because it transforms everything into that same thing. Forgiveness sees that which you thought someone did to you, in reality never happened. You see through the seeming differences and allow the other person to mirror your own perfection. You see that everything is connected in perfect harmony. This indeed is meaningless, because it is formless. But you could also say it’s the only “thing” that has meaning and can be understood and loved. These are no contradictions, they are just different ways of saying the same thing.

I totally agree with you! Of course, the personal me isn't real, but that doesn't have to mean that there is absolutely no free will. We don't know what is beyond all of that. We are all in the dream, no matter wether we are awake or not, not matter if there is a seeing that there is no one or if it is not seen. The personal me does not have free will, because it is an illusion, but we don't know what is beyond all of that. Maybe it's like in the matrix movie.

He doesn't mention the apparent seeker having free will. However I still say we as seekers seem to have free will,but it may be an illusion.God may be doing it all ! SSB says we are God, or Energy as Tony Parsons says. I greatly admire Sathya Sai Baba,who had divine powers and taught Non Duality..

And let's face it if there is no free will then this implies that there is someone or something who is able to make the point that there is no free will.and can wonder if they have it or not. What we can and can’t make happen outside of the body is what builds the image of ourselves as located and within the lines of our skin. If all this were happening with no feeling to it it wouldn’t create the sense of a me-located-here. But there IS energy and feeling to the difficulty making mom come to you for example.
We realise we are just one little being with only so much power to make things happen in the world around us.
Along with this boundary that makes this me and world around me is also the sense that boundlessness is destructed and in comes the aim to seek our mother or what seemed to be the case energetically while we were near mom.
The presence and realness of this sense of my located inner self and the outer world that surrounds it are caused by this sense of not being able to control everything around us.
The process of absence and presence of mom has disturbed the whole sense of our apparent experience of the world. Inertia comes and that puts the energy and meaning to those lines that arise mentally as they highlight the body from the world around.
The frustration is what makes things seem more present and real than they would without that frustration. Without it and all the mental impressions that happen with it, there would not even be a sense of a real me and a real world around me.
So liberation is partly described by the complete loss of motivation to control anything around us at all.
Any attempt to make the boundless happen will bring the frustration about more intensely and so will have the opposite effect and will bring more of a me intensity. In fact anything that is attempted to bring about the end of frustration is going to have no effect because the motivation is obviously coming from the frustration or seeking energy itself because that’s all there is. It would simply be the expression of the frustration based structure, not the way to end it.
The absolute end of hope or desire to control anything has to happen in order to generate the necessary impetus for the shift tony talks about and even then there’s no certainty it will happen.
This hopelessness cannot be brought about deliberately because anything deliberate is the expression of hope aswell as frustration. If you started trying to stay away from people and be alone that would also fail because it would intensify frustration and there’s the sense you can always change your mind and you’re constantly hoping. You can’t push the giving up of hope without creating frustration.
What you try to do is always about the hope or anticipation of getting somewhere or making something happen. That doesn’t trigger liberation. It can’t be made to happen.
Nothing you can do will ever bring about liberation because liberation is the opposite of any kind of hope or control.
Although I have heard that sometimes liberation just happens in the middle of any experience. You might be out at a restaurant and bang! Lol 😂 who knows why that would happen!
You can do things at work, make some money but you can’t bring about liberation in any way whatsoever.
In all likelihood this realisation will make you stop reading about liberation and just accept a life of wonderful experiences that can be generated through various hopeful means. The only thing in life you can’t bring about is liberation so don’t worry, you can still bring about a hell of a time!!!
It’s also only possibly the opinion of Tony parsons. Awakening might not even be possible of human life...it could all be speculation. There may be no liberation at all, just a speculation of such that certain people are capitalising on. So really the best advice is to forget about all this and just look to build your life the way you want it. Hope and improvement. Time. A beautiful tomorrow.
This advice is really just a natural inevitable conclusion to this kind of non dual talk. Once you realise it can’t be achieved, you can stop wasting time trying.

@@waloacme impossible for you to make liberation happen yes, but certainly not impossible to have a pretty darn wonderful life. Go out there, find the things you feel motivated to find and heal what needs to be healed. Get therapy if that may help you feel more contented.
Life is not wisely handled if we start to see it as all about attaining liberation. Liberation is not the result of some conscious effort.
It really is best to forget about all this and just look to be true to your own current self and maybe try to understand your own life and the things that make you feel sad or whatever.
Try to get into the details of what is going on in your own psyche and what is different about you from other people. Keep looking at your own reactions as you interact with others and listen to others. Learn about the nature of yourself and have that adventure.
You may find you develop to be somebody fighting for some cause or other that you can’t even imagine right now. It’s no use trying to escape the reality of the me.
Liberation is and must remain irrelevant to you.

The deluded appearance of a person (and other objects) can cease and 'my' experience of that was that the importance needs of this illusary person ceased too. No illusion..no illusary needs.
For me the illusion returned to varying degrees having ceased for a few periods. The experience left no doubt...direct experience is direct experience.
What causes the cessation of this illusion is another matter. The degree to which any method (or non method) provides the desired effect seems to be very unpredictable.

And, although I wouldn't recommend 'gurus' as a source of knowledge: you naturally seek things which will aid such negotiation.....The absence of such 'negotiation' can only be concurrent with clinical death....So whatever else may, or may not, have been realized 'about life': that you 'don't exist' is not one of them.....Anyone who claims otherwise is talking straight out of their arsehole. There are many contradictions in Tony’s message and behaviour. Firstly, he preaches everything is ‘meaningless’ and there is ‘no one’ yet he is married to another person. This implies that he feels that there is ‘another’ and derives meaning in the concept of commitment to them. If everything is just ‘empty fullness’ and meaningless and ‘in free fall’ (his teaching) and there are ‘no others’ then why commit to another person exclusively? Furthermore during this COVID pandemic, he has cancelled his seminars and started posting zoom teachings instead. Why has he cancelled his seminars? Is he afraid of the virus affecting his health and his ‘story of me’ - just like the rest of us? If everything is truly meaningless he would just continue as normal and not care for the rules of social distancing - or try to escape a virus which ‘isn’t real’. He continues to upload Zoom videos during the crisis - maybe to promote his ‘apparent’ ‘meaningless’ brand (his words) during the crisis. His website contradicts his own teachings - for example he says everything is ‘just empty fullness’ and we are trapped in a ‘dualistic story’ yet goes on to describe the residentials with language that affirm the dualistic story such as ‘we will be staying in this beautiful place, with lovely gardens and a full breakfast’. Why not embrace the ugly venues too, Tony? I hope you don’t delete this comment, but address the questions logically. This is not meant to be offensive - but a critique of your philosophy - it seems you are misleading people to a nihilism which you don’t practice
The loss of the sense of a separate individual self with free will and choice doesn’t imply that the mind-body will lose all its preferences for nice experiences, companionship, comfort, and health. In fact, outwardly there might be almost no change at all. The mind-body remains exactly as it was, but without the overlay of the false self and without the unconscious bodily and mental tension trying to hold it all together. Also, all language is necessarily dualistic. The question is, is there a belief that this duality is solid and real? Or is such language simply used for convenience?
If you walk on a field and feel attracted to a flower, you take it with you and take care for it as long as you can, does that mean you rejected all other flowers? In true love, all is loved by loving even only one. Because you know that one stands for all. It’s spontaneous, it’s because you love yourself, you can’t keep it in, it has to be shared. Polyamorie, although a wonderful thing, is not necessary for unlimited love.
Also, someone’s behavior is not a good indicator let alone argument for the credibility of someone’s teaching. If the teaching is true, behavior can’t make it false. Truth stays true, that’s what makes it true. Tony’s teaching is very simple and there is no thing in life that can contradict it because it transforms everything into that same thing. Forgiveness sees that which you thought someone did to you, in reality never happened. You see through the seeming differences and allow the other person to mirror your own perfection. You see that everything is connected in perfect harmony. This indeed is meaningless, because it is formless. But you could also say it’s the only “thing” that has meaning and can be understood and loved. These are no contradictions, they are just different ways of saying the same thing.

I totally agree with you! Of course, the personal me isn't real, but that doesn't have to mean that there is absolutely no free will. We don't know what is beyond all of that. We are all in the dream, no matter wether we are awake or not, not matter if there is a seeing that there is no one or if it is not seen. The personal me does not have free will, because it is an illusion, but we don't know what is beyond all of that. Maybe it's like in the matrix movie.
