My Philips air purifier started giving reading in the red and high values, So I decide to take things in to my own hands and clean it fully. I couldn't take the video of dismantling since it was so dirty inside ,but I have reversed the fixing and explained all details so that anyone can clean their air purifiers.

Thanks, this gave me the confidence to thoroughly clean my air purifier. This is a long shot, but do you know if it's possible to factory reset the device? (I have the AC2889 model) I'm specifically wanting to remove all WiFi settings from it.

I have no experience with that but there should be a reset button or a small hole most probably on the board to help you reset. look for it in the owners manual.

use normal philips but long stem screwdrivers

This is an air purifier used to clean air . It doesn't cool the air. So buying depends on what you want the machine to do
