I almost fell asleep. You cannot teach this to youth players. You complicated this thing with a bunch of what ifs....
you need to find your own way of teaching it, this video isn't for kids but adults. Every player/kid learns differently from visual, audio, to spacial. But in Basketball there are a lot of "what ifs" as the defense can show many different looks and mistakes
In my opinion the basics of this is simple, he's just explaining into finer details which will help players make correct reads
