Anne is finding life difficult. There is still no sign of the liberation. She doesn't know what to do about her feelings for Peter. Then she has an idea: she would like to use her camera to make a real film about life in the Annex. She wants to mean something to people. This will give her life some meaning again.

The Anne Frank House was established on 3 May 1957 in cooperation with Otto Frank, Anne Frank’s father. We are an independent non-profit organisation that runs a museum in the house where Anne Frank went into hiding and we try to increase awareness of Anne’s life story all over the world, encouraging people to reflect on the dangers of antisemitism, racism, and discrimination, and the importance of freedom, equal rights, and democracy.

The fact that Anne had no idea how many people she would influence with her diary amazes me, she loved movies and now she has thousands of movies made about her. She loved history and now she plays a big part in many history lessons. She loved reading and now millions of people read her writing all over the world!

Right because lets compare war to a global pandemic....how ignorant. Many people have gotten depressed and killed themselves during the pandemic. Sure it's not the same but saying you should be happy about being locked in your house and being unable to see the ones you love for a whole year is just dumb.

Because if you were so generous and would read the words, they didn't say we're having it worse. Beside comparing ourselves to anyone who had it more tough, doesn't help. Allowing ourselves to dislike our current situation and allow ourselves to say it sucks, it's difficult and challenging helps to get over this. @@maryannealmeida2881 documentário, a Anne Frank real viveu na época da segunda guera, ela era judia e teve que se esconder para não pegarem a familia dela e levarem para campos, então ela começa a escrever um diário, ai nesse documentário é como se ao invés dela ter um diário ela tivesse uma camera.

I always think that I just can't love her more than I already do, but a great project like this, with its amazing representation of the diary comes out and blows me away. Now I know, it is always possible to love her a little bit more.

Eu lendo no livro a parte que pedem no rádio para que os escondidos relatem suas situações para que eles publiquem mais tarde, quando a guerra já tivesse acabado . E ela achou que ninguém se interessaria por um diário de uma menina da idade dela. This somehow brings together a group of people who are more connected with technology than with the pages of a book but who somehow encourage reading the book, and if Anne wanted to stay in time, today she would be jumping with joy. Dit is zo interessant ik vind anne frank het leukste onderwerp van geschiedenis, dit is geweldig!
Zu wissen was mit ihr passiert macht es am Ende nur noch emotionaler.
Ich find diese Form von "an den Mann bringen" sehr toll, da es einfach immer mehr und mehr Menschen gibt, die weniger lesen.
Klar gehört die Lektüre oftmals zum Schulablauf dazu, aber dadurch wird es schnell vergessen und wer sucht schon gerne lange in einem Buch?
Auf diese Art und Weise bringt man es auch einfach besser an jüngere.
Ich find's wirklich toll und unheimlich wichtig.

Ik heb ooit het boek gelezen, de films die erover zijn gemaakt, gezien EN in mijn jeugd het Anne Frank huis bezocht. Nog VOORdat het werd verbouwd tot een mega toeristische iets tot wat het nu is geworden. Het had enorm veel impact op mij. Vooral het boek. Daarom was ik erg cynisch toen ik deze serie ontdekte. Maar na 4 afleveringen moet ik toegeven dat het best realistisch is en vooral beklemmend. Iedereen heeft goed werk geleverd en ik krijg weer dat gevoel terug van toen ik in mijn tienerjaren het boek las, alsof IK daar ook zat. Maar toch raad ik iedereen aan om zeker ook het boek zelf te lezen, het is oorspronkelijk geschreven door Anne zelf en dat is veel persoonlijker dan wat voor film of videodagboek dan ook. Wel mijn complimenten aan dat meisje dat Anne speelt.

what a great idea to do a video of her life for today's generation who don't tend to read as much as in the past. Great series as have watched most of the episodes. So so sad. If only she had known Pim was still alive may have given her a bit more fight in her to stay alive. If only she had known her diaries would have been not only read by millions but so many movies made about it. I have visited the annex and is incredible to stand in the rooms her family and housemates were forced to live.
