I came across your channel by mistake and I watched your tutorial and thought "where the *beep* were you a few weeks ago when I got stuck on my project!" I loved how you painted the fox and now I can try my project again. Thank you so much!
I've used the clear Daniel Smith Ground in Coloring Books and demonstrated in one of the videos on my channel, but not tried this lovely gold shiny one. I am excited to give it a try. Thanks for another great video.
Daniel Smith makes some of the best watercolor paints and related products that you can buy, but they are not very budget-friendly. You do get what you pay for, though. For those who enjoy swatching, I'd highly recommend the Daniel Smith 238 Color Chart (~$20), which contains a generous dollop of paint for each color they offer (well, almost). It's great fun, especially when you get to their iridescent and color-changing paints, which would be interesting to use on coloring pages.
I am bummed for some reason this video never popped up last night on my notificiations. I kept checking you tube and your channel but it didn't show so if you had a live broadcast I missed it, sorry. :( Very sad. This turned out great Jen. I love the gold tint, so autumn inspiring. I look forward to getting some gouache. I already have Kuretake watercolors that are pretty opaque that I use mostly for backgrounds in my coloring but gouache might inspire me to do more painting. I remember you telling me they perform very differ so it will be nice to see how they contrast
I have some watercolor pencils lying around and have been meaning to use them for awhile. This is perfect!! Since I don't have any papers heavy enough for watercolor 😅 thanks for this Jen!! And the gel pens looked so good 😍
Too cute! I can’t wait to try this technique. I also received my swatch book and I absolutely am in love with it!!! I’m thinking about getting another one (even though I don’t need it) just to have. Thank you so much! Keep up the great videos and thanks for being such an inspiration 😀
Have you tried that gouache on Amazon in the little cups ? Jelly like gouache it's in a light pink or light green pallet? It seems really popular but I want to know your opinion
I actually like an acrylic glaze to do some colouring on. I use it on Amazon paper. It definitely works different than like doing watercolour, but I really like that. Mostly use waterbased markers on it. Ow, and super nice result, it looks great.
LOL it looks like their eyes are shifting as you move the paper around -- creepy! Also, great visual with the slo-mo shot on the golden bits in the rinse jar!! The painting turned out really beautiful - wonderful color scheme.
Your printer accepts such nice heavyweight card stock. May I ask what model/make printer you have? I just started downloaded coloring pages andi can only print on thinner paper. Thank you!❤
I probably shouldn’t be watching this because I am a watercolorist and use DS ground but your dog is cute so I’m going to keep watching just to see if it moves. (Looking to see if I can use DS smith ground with cheap paper so I can watercolor over sheet music)
Hi when I print off my computer and try to use watercolor the ink bleeds. Do you recommend printing ink to use for watercolor. Do you know of any water Proof ink. Thank you
Also I love Steves truck page and you said in the video you would leave a link to the product from Dick Blick and it goes to Amazon and the links to the coloring pages do not work.
I do not have any coloring books with cardstock paper which is what you used but the email stated using watercolor in coloring books. i do not think it will work in most coloring books.
Oh yaaasss the gold sigh, it’s so pretty.
Steve! I do like the style of the grayscale!!!!

This turned out so cute. I like the gold stuff and gel pens.
Gorgeous!!! I’m a bliss colorist so I can’t wait to color that adorable Fox & owl picture. I love it and you made it look gorgeous.
loved the pooch in the background.
I truly love your passion for art!! I've been enjoying your channel which I only recently found. Thank you for sharing! 😁🇨🇦

Your watercolor paper is fabulous!
Wow. That gold ground would look great as a background for medaeval art. Think the Farnese Hours or the Book of Kells.
Does the watercolor ground feel gritty like clear gesso does when it dries on paper?
I think if you do strokes just one way , top to bottom or left to right for instance you may prevent thick and thin spots.
Can you use this on an inkjet print so that the ink does not smear?
Omg I got the pearlescent white for Christmas to use on wood ornaments - I am so going to try it on my farting sloth coloring book now 🤓🥰

Can both watercolor ground and gesso work similar to use watercolors on coloring books

I’ve asked this a couple times, can’t seem to get them to answer this question for some reason. We’re you ever able to find an answer??
Loved Steve’s picture and he took in my state!!
OMG your dog!
You are very talented.

Love your channel. As I only recently discovered it, I have a lot of catching up to do
Can you also lay it down with a credit card for a smooth finish?

I figured out what was wrong with the free download. I'm sorry for the trouble. Please try again. www.coloringbliss.com/dodge-power-wagon-grayscale/

Steve, that gay scale truck turned out AWSOME
The dog stole the show
Very informative but too much talking before getting to the point. Because of this I don’t subscribe.
