Yes. I’ve seen something very similar to it happen within a fandom where I had many friends. Many were lonely men who were rejects of society. This is an important topic but no one wants to go here because it’s dark and the activists want to hide it. Many of the men in this fandom developed “femboy” hentai inspired crossdressing fetishes from porn. I saw 4 who I suspect had autism, who transitioned after developing this fetish and then two who detransitioned thereafter. And yet another detransitioner was gay. What I noticed was these men seemed like they became gay and became trans as a means to get more sex or date each other without it “being gay” to some extent because most of them were really mostly straight! In fact, my gay friend I mentioned before, was dating a “straight” man in the fandom who was quite the picture of toxic masculinity with some homophobia and I could tell my friend seemed to transition to date this man and once they broke up, he detransitioned! The most disturbing one I witnessed was a trans identified man who I interacted with many times who I later found out was into age play and was a MAP! I found online the term “autop*d0ph*lia” which is like autigynephilia, only the inverted target is the want to be a child, in his case: girls. So he played out the fantasy of being a little girl… I’m SO glad you’ve brought this topic to light and I hope you continue to do so. It’s unfortunate podcasters like you only want first hand experiences of transition for this sort of thing because I have a lot of stories about watching tons of friends and acquaintances in this fandom where adult social contagion for identifying as trans and nonbinary runs quite rampant due to several factors. These are sad lonely men who are really messed up in the head and they need help and don’t need to impose this kind of thing onto society nor abuse the system.
@cosmickilroy that's crazy! It's so weird how men think being a woman is just becoming sexy enough that straight men will get off to you, whereas actual women can't really behave in that kind of risky way ever because of the risk of pregnancy and murder so who are these men really transforming into? It's not women.... I'm beginning to think of it more as transforming from a regular man to a prnified version of a woman, which is not a regular woman at all. Male-to-fantasy instead of male-to-female!
We already have the solution for this. There are men's prisons that have special units for people who are vulnerable for one reason or another. It should be abundantly _obvious_ to everyone that you don't _stick them in a cage with women._
Using this same argument they could argue for race segregated prisons. Sorry ladies, you do a crime? You go to prison, and in prison you are supposed to suffer. LMAO, now women gotta worry about "dropping the soap" too, LMFAO!
Yes. Men who think they’re women don’t have to go into the general population in men’s prisons, they get their own section if they request it. Also it’s funny how in left leaning states women are given plain sports bras, but “trans women” are given lacy push up bras. Thats a verifiable fact.
As a South African woman, I find it horrifying that a man can transition for sexual gratification and then share a locker room or public bathroom with me. These things aren't 'net zero', and it doesn't only impact the person who transitions. Women are literally in danger and the guy on the right doesn't have our safety issues and therefore can't see how this is a HUGE problem.
Females spaces must be protected from all males, with or without genitalia, castrated males wearing dresses or pants, castrated males wearing makeup or mustaches and beards.
That is one of the existential questions that keeps trans people up late at night. Nobody has thought more about "what does it actually mean to be a woman?" than a transfem.
@@susanpetropoulos1039 good comment, I have never had an issue with my gender, but I am also not a girly woman, in fact I get called "sir" with some frequency, LOL, & not because I try to look like a man--I like the comfort of t shirts and jeans, btw this does not bother me, I usually politely correct it.
Men like Sascha who claim that this only affects the so-called trans person are utterly oblivious to the effect this has on women. Just completely indifferent to the needs and feelings of actual women.
Typical male, they really don't give a shit about the effect anything has on women, because they view women as a different species from Venus or something... not as human beings just like them
Yes, as he said about anorexia "not his problem". However HE is OUR problem when he for example refers to men as "she". 20:00 🩸Periods. Sure, we may only “bleed” 2-7 days each month. But the menstrual cycle is continuous, everyday of our lives, from the moment we start menstruating to the day it ends. That’s an average of 40 years being attuned to a cycle. There’s no homeostasis that is disrupted for 5 days every month. For women (of procreative age), our normal IS the cycle of change. Every. Single. Day. Could a man possibly understand what that’s like? It’s not about making the experience of being a woman to be better or worse than that of being a man. It’s about respecting the differences in our biology-and the embodied experiences of our biology-as fundamentally different yet complementary. 🌺
Don't forget the years of sometimes debilitating symptoms of menopause! Not to mention the millions of women suffering from women only conditions like endometriosis and fibroids.
Many women are not average in cycles, I bled for 10 days, extremely heavy for a week, lots of clotting. . But either side of the cycle bleeding existed. Going out in public was a semi crisis for me. More than once bled through double/trippled protection. Always anemic. But managed a very productive life. I would have preferred hiding for at least 3 days a month, had to be close to bathroom.
Why should women who feel uncomfortable around trans women be forced to interact with them at all if they don't want to Why does everyone have to become involved in someone else's delusions and have social pressures put on them to conform to something they find unacceptable
The World Wars has really left its scars on the following generations... We're now reaping what these crazy scientists have experimented on for so many years (psychological, biological and chemical warfare)
Wanting ypur legs to cut off, wanting to f*** your health perfect body transforming it into a fake male or fake female human IS NOT of sound mind! It's a dangerous need of attention. They need to be taken to a decent proper doutor for help!
It stops when all the money goes away. Society falls apart, then theres no more electricity/internet/food supply/weed/cross sex hormones/petrolium/fresh tap water/flushing toilets. At THAT point all that stuff'll stop, cause it'll have to in a pre-industrial society.
@@brianmurphy5313 It pretty much already is because if you ask a leftist type, they'll be unable to give an argument against it other than consent, but what if the animal initiates or indicates consent? A person could leave in their will that they give consent to a loved one to use their body as they wish - you're either a bigot, or you concede to that argument? You cannot rationalize your way out of it if consent is the guiding principle. Even health regulations will bend. And this is why there are continuous attempts to lower the age of consent with regards to children...

@@connor5669no they are not, I experienced gender dysphoria in the 90s long before this was known and they do not consider how many factors being you there and that therapy can prevent transition which does not need to happen since most kids grow out of it. I will never understand when a man says he always felt like a girl or when a girl says she always felt like a boy. How can either possibly know what it actually feels like to be the other. I have 4 brothers and my dad and as much as I was a tomboy, playing with my brothers and their friends growing up I know I hadn't a clue what it feels like to be a boy. Listening to this young man declaring women have an easier life.. 'except' for the fact they are more at risk of sexual assault and have periods for 5 days every month😮...I believe proves my point.
Nature vs Nurture. They "see" i.e nurture what they think being female is all about but being born female i.e nature is much more complex. Something that they will never know nor experience no matter how much cosmetic surgery or hormones they take 💜
I'd take that step further. I'm a man and i don't even know what being a man feels like. I know what being me feels like but i can't possibly know what parts of my experience are universally true amongst men, if any. Hell i don't even know you and me see the same color when we see green. Sure we both label it green but idk wtf you feel or see. I also don't think there is even such a thing as feeling like a man or woman. The entire concept of gender is extremely nebulous and presented as a self evident truth when there's literally no science behind it.
I’m trans and I don’t know what it’s like to be a woman , but we also don’t know what it’s like to be a man if that makes any sense, men are into women, men get hard looking at booties, let it be women or twinks, I have no remote idea how that turns them on, I don’t even know what’s going inside a gay top brain !!!! Straight men and gay tops communicate inside a manhood, they don’t even need words to connect, and I have no clue what language they are using most of the times, even lesbians (the masculine ones 💯) speak that language, so I obviously have never interacted with men at all if I have no clue what they’re doing, then I get close to women not knowing what they are talking about but in 3 seconds we’re speaking the same language, being empathic, talking about their boyfriends, men in general, our family, love life, same artistic expressions, it can be music, fashion, same tv shows, etc, at the end I still feel like there’s a 10% that I can’t relate to women and that’s when I let them talk with each other, that missing 10% is what i think doesn’t make me a woman at all, and that 10% is what I share with men, that 10% is what I get a long with men, like the manly jokes and dark humor, im with men, but again it’s just a 10% their whole day life and their activities etc I have no clue what they’re doing so I go back to the women’s world like 100% of the day lol
I used to know a man with body integrity disorder, lived a couple doors along from me. He had both legs amputated below the knee, at his request. In the UK. He passed away a few years ago. I always looked at him with a level of disdain because I'm a double below knee amputee too. I lost my legs through an accident and was never the same and the thought of going through this misery voluntarily was absolutely insane. I still cant comprehend what the surgeon was thinking about performing that op. just nuts.
Baffling! Also agreeing with @cosmickilroy. There must be some extremely dark motives at work. The attention is thrown onto the patients in these cases and there is no spotlight on the doctors Frankenstein.
how is this even legal ?? somehow it reminds me of this one pro Palestinian uni student who was asking for "basic humanitarian aid", basically cosplaying as a victim of war... its like people's lives are too good they need to fuck it up for attention or to feel different. At the same time its also so disrespectful to people who didn't chose to go through such things
@@geralynwalkes YT has not provided me with @cosmickilroys comment. so I cant comment thus. only your reply showing. As for my neighbour I never got into the subject with him because my anger was always on the the edge. His reasons for doing what he felt was necessary is his deal and he lived with his decision. As for the doctor Frankenstein reference I fear you are not too far off the mark. Through my own personal experience I know surgeons will absolutely do an operation if it get's them prestige, no matter the effect on the patient. My left leg is case and point. I live in the UK as stated earlier. NHS all that jazz. I was struck by a large moving metal object and I won. yea yea it squashed a couple bits on it's passing but I WON! when they got me to the hospital the big toe of my left foot was toughing the back of my shin. sliced through the foot leaving heel and ankle intact. surgeon thought him self a clever bugger and had a student in theatre with him. I know this because he bragged about it to my family the morning after. He Purposefully "SAVED" my heel and ankle because he wanted to show off to his student who said it couldn't be done. turns out it just SHOULDNT have been done. Because of that surgeon I spent 10+ years of my life in and out of prosthetic departments, wasting thousands of pounds of tax payers money trying to get a foot to fit the surgeons pet project. ended with me pleading, the most depressed I have ever been, something had to change. Only then did the doctor concede and he removed the ankle.
I'm really sorry to hear of your experience! I hope you continue to heal beyond the physical as well. The evil genius is real. I wonder if they become drunk with power or are so intelligent that they get bored with day-to-day life. The thing is, SOME doctors seem to perform body modifications for reasons that have nothing to do with sympathy for the patient: for years it was those who identify with feeling like aliens or reptiles etc., but that never got trendy -- now extreme, cartoonish, exaggerated body shapes apart from gender identity struggles. At this point, are the surgeons accommodating the patients, or are the patients accommodating the surgeons?
I’m only about 20 mins in but I’m wondering why all this controversy and turmoil seems to always swirl around the “trans-women” only. Why do we almost never hear anything from the “trans-men” side of this issue? This seems to be uniquely male behavior, which actually flies in the face of “trans-women ARE women”.
I think it has to do with the stereotypes of "Men are predators" and "Women are children". Nobody's afraid of trans men using the men's bathroom, or invading "male spaces". Male spaces are mainly defined by attitude and demeanor, and if you fit you fit. Men only resent women's intrusion if it's going to "change the vibe". Women's spaces are often defined as being a "refuge from men", and so anything seen as male entering in is a threat to that safety. Similarly, women acting masculine is much more tolerated than men acting feminine. So you have a category of "girly-men" who are already derided who then are claiming that they want to be women in ways that could let them into the "Man-free refuges", and this creates an easy and obvious target. Women fear trans-women for "being men" while men hate them for "not being men".
Periods is not just bleeding for 5 days, it for many women can be very painful and last for much longer and effects them mentally because of hormonal changes. Then there is menopause which can leave women with serious mood swings, hot flushes, a higher chance of cancer. Also you can have postpartum depression or psychosis after the birth of a child. Labour endometriosis, cervical cancer, polystic ovaries and many other women specific diseases so no it is not easy being a woman. Then women are more likely to suffer from abuse, rape and stalking. How does a man know what it is like to be a woman, when they can never be a woman as their XY chromosomes will never change no matter how many hormones or surgeries they have.
I have PCOS and got uterine cancer, I am also completely invisible to people because I am old, a man my age still gets respect so this deal about women having an easier time in life is nonsense, not to mention that if an 80 guy decides that he wants more children it is no big deal since his fertility is not as affected by age. I am not saying that men don't have gender specific burdens, both genders have cultural expectations that can weigh them down, but women do NOT have it easier.
Yes, I agree completely. I am post menopause for almost a decade, just recently I stopped having hot flashes so bad at night that I soaked my nightgown and sheets with sweat, EVERY NIGHT. This trans thing is deeply disturbing. Only men can be a better woman than a woman and without real suffering! WOW! Misogyny on steroids.
@@omfug7148 ain't no way a regular 80 y.o. man can still have children, such a bs. their fertility declines after 35 age mark, and you have a higher chance of birthing not so healthy children with an older man
Not just that... Anxiety about becoming pregnant when you don't want it. And what you do in terms of birth control is also something women have to deal with until menopause hits.
In Finland (I am Finnish) a man just got sentenced to prison for cutting off another man's p-nis. He tells he is a sadist and looks for people online who want to suffer. So this other man then contacted him and they actually made a contract where this guy who wanted his p-nis cut off signed under that he will take full responsibility what ever the consequenses of this action might be. Well the sadist did it in as painful way as he could and left the other person tide up in his cellar for few days.. And if I remember correctly the guy did not die, but almost did and the Finnish court ruled that eventhough they had agreed on everything, it was still not ok to do it. Anyway.. I was really shocked to find out what kind of maniacs there are among us - and the internet is just perfect for them to connect with each other..
In the UK a guy called The Eunuch Maker has just been sentenced. He ran a ring connecting those who wanted to be castrated with those who wanted to do it. They videod it and I think livestreamed it too. The members were international but the leader was from the UK. Vile.
This chap should talk to Helen Joyce as I feel he has some blind spots regarding the men who identify as woman and their behaviour in womens space and impact.
Yes - I totally agree. He seems analytical by nature, but his view is limited and contradictory and is not a view that is centred around keeping the vulnerable in our society safe.
@@jessk7240 all depends on who you consider the "vulnerable" in a given situation! surely women in a women's changing room are more vulnerable with a man in drag than without, a man is a man is a man, I should know I'm A Man!
I interviewed a man who was transitioning who spoke about masterbating (still biologically intact) imagining what its like being a woman. We need to have serious conversations about sex, there's so much more to it than people admit.
This. And fetishes. I don't believe people realise how fetishes can drive behaviour. I've read some upsetting questions in groups from men who've undergone orchidectomy, then worked out that their motivation was a fetish but find their relationships failing as they no longer have any desire for intimacy. Wider understanding is essential, especially for those dealing with these feelings.
Autogynephilia I believe. Not all trans have that erotic fantasy, it’s different to trans. They wish to appear female, because they are turned on by the thought of possession by a man like that. There’s shades of why men wear dresses I guess. Not all of them identify as female
This could be why some women are unsure about having all trans identified peoples in bathrooms, if some are trans for the benefits or some other kind of fetish.
@@calamitiesagain7014I assume you aren't a biological female? As it's so obvious as to why women and girls feel so threatened when men wearing frocks lipstick and wigs come into female spaces.

Yes and the doctors and therapists that say they can instead of telling them of the horrendous mistake that will replace their genitals is downright evil. These people need real therapy not someone telling them what they want to hear . They need someone to tell them how it won't help and even after chopping cutting redusing implanting they will likely still not feel themselves because what they're trying to change isnt their outward appearance it's how they feel inside their head .. it's literally like telling someone who has anorexia and is underweight that they are correct and it wouldn't hurt them to have surgery to get smaller. And that if they thought they needed to remove their bottom ribs to look smaller then that's not a mental issue because that's how they feel ...wtf
@@charlottewyttle1578no it's not at all. Women have periods which causes many of them physical difficulties during their cycle, they are persecuted and sexually assaulted continuously starting from when they are little girls, they are physically weaker than men and therefore are more often in danger and can hardly defend themselves from an attack, women have children and have to deal with pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding, this significantly compromises their economic independence and work/career prospective , women then go into menopause another very difficult and complicated period for many of them . All this issues already in the West if we talk about not western / underdeveloped countries the life of women/girls is worth less than that of an animal, not to mention sexual violence, forced marriage, legal impossibility to study and work etc. The life of men is truly much easier than that of women
Today in California I literally went to the OBGYN, and had to fill out information. One question asked me “was I born biologically male or born biologically female?” I may be missing something, but I don’t know how a man could be a patient at an OBGYN clinic. ??? Other than the father of a woman’s baby, etc… loony
I'm gonna say that sounds like somebody "trying to be supportive" but missing the mark entirely. They're _trying_ to support Trans Men, but are failing completely. If you're at an OBGYN clinic, it's _because_ you were "born biologically female", regardless of how you wish to be. Trans Women don't need a gynecologist (not even with the most advanced surgery), but Trans Men (much to their annoyance) still have to deal with "lady parts" problems.
I would have had to ask the person who gave me the form why on earth I had to answer such a ridiculous question. And I’m sure it came from some outside group who either gave them the form for use in their clinic or advised them on what questions should be asked and how they should be worded. I’d want to also question that agency and have them explain their logic. It is all so nonsensical. There’s one possibility that would be refreshing if it were the case: if any prospective patient said they were “born biologically male” the clinic would be able to tell them that they are not a candidate for services at the clinic, and end the treatment right there.
@@slacktoryrecords4193 I experienced the same thing at my last physical check up and I did ask. My doctor answered exasperatingly, it is from the W.H.O. i.e. World Health Organization
TBH I find it insulting to be asked M, F, other or prefer not to say. you are biologically M or F end of! How you “feel” does not change what you are. As many are finding, they “feel” one way today, in a year or so, they “feel” the opposite. Gender is NOT fluid!
Maybe they created this form because they DID have trans women coming to the OBGYN and they needed to know ASAP so they wouldn't waste their time or end up in awkward situations...
In one breath he yearns for a time with strong male role models, in the next breath when asked about pronouns (using the example of an anorexic) he says not my problem, why should I care? Sasha describing key, often traumatic events of women's lives as 'inconvenient' is just offensive. Of course he thinks women have it better, he's no concept of how we're raised, shamed threatened and told to accommodate and make ourselves small in the face of abuse. The whole Incel notion of women as sexual gatekeepers is offensive and dangerous top. Does he think all women can pick and choose who we want, that we don't get rejected or told we're not thin, pretty, successful enough?! Not only are we held to unreal standards we're terrified we'll be sexually assaulted, raped or killed, and the stats back up our very real fears! It's disgusting that fetishists are being given precedence, power and position over women who've had to fight for everything they've got over the centuries. They evenwant all out niche positions, our women only awards and competitions. I can't believe we're condoning this It's all down to make ebbtitkenent, which is the ultimate irony. When Trans women are raping women in female prisons we've gone way too far. It's terrifying that women are being let down by and harmed by changes in law.
There are no "well meaning" trans people or supporters. They're all choosing to IGNORE facts and focus on 1 or 2 aspects on their sole desires. harrassment in the workplace is horrible, when it happens. However, men have it WAAAY harder in todays society. Men are not valued for what they are, except very, very rare individuals, but women are, at least until a certain age (up to 40 or so). Evolutionwise that makes sense, but in the past that burden of men would be compensated with certain privileges. The privileges of men went away, the privileges of women stayed the same.
@@asdfxyz_randomname2133 I don't agree that men have it harder. In the workplace if a woman gets pregnant in many places she may be overlooked for career advancement and in the era men still in the main get promoted above women just because they are a man. I don't know where you live but from what I have witnessed male privilege is still rampant.
Really? So you think it’s just as hard being a woman today as it was in the 1500s or even the 1800s? As a woman, I think this is a little disingenuous…
@@Blakmagic88 I never mentioned women in the 15 or 18 hundreds. I'm on about nowadays.. I am merely saying from what I have seen men have it easier in today's society than women.
This man obviously does not have children, I have 4 and I know now that “gender” is hardware not software, I do not treat my girls any different than the boys, and yet they like completely different things, they play different, and they act different from very young ages… my one girls is a tomgirl, but she still is naturally more careful, caring and mindful than boys…
Agreed, I didn't exactly experiment on my kids (1 boy, 1 girl as close together as you can manage) but I made sure toys were neutral just to see what happened. I realised hardwired gender exists when I went to get them for tea one day. The boy was making a gun out of Lego & the girl had a Plasticine doll. Lots of earlier hints but that moment sealed it.
@@Aengus42 Having some personality hardwiring is one thing, implying that there is no social element to a boy making a toy gun (instead of anything else) is quite another. What is inherently so manly about a toy gun that men just biologically go for? And if you mean to say "it's for hunting", women have been hunting too. The thing is, you're not the only one that raises your child. There are books, movies, stories, anecdotes heard from other people, relatives, friends, comic books... socialization occurs in millions of ways and you just can't create a controlled setting to actually say anything truly meaningful about the behavior of your children. Now obviously, nursing baby dolls as a potential future mother could be something that a small female child inherently considers motivating. But if there were no dolls and you gave your daughter a toy gun too? There's no reason as to why she wouldn't be interested in it as well.
@@luskaneseprince As with all these "nature/nurture" type things it's normally a dollop of both. If that's what you were trying to say in a somewhat pompous & unnecessarily convoluted way, then I agree.
@@Aengus42 Realizing that there's a hardwired gender when you saw your children choose extremely gendered toys once does not sound at all like a neutral observation. It sounds like confirmation bias, is what I was saying.
"respecting pronouns" is actually extremely disrespectful. It's policing speech and trying to force another person's personal expression. It pushes boundaries and makes unrealistic demands of other people. Pronouns are part of languages and are not replaceable, interchangeable, arbitrary, portable, changeable or optional. It makes no sense anyway since most of the time you don't refer to someone in the third person using pronouns when you know their name.
"If someone wants to cut their leg off, they're probably not of sound mind, but if they have a reason for it, then fine" is one of the most insane things i've heard anyone say in a while...and i've heard a lot of insane things recently!
I think main difference being "trans" vs cutting off your legs is that, cutting off your legs disables you for life, you'll need carer. While cutting off a penis simply makes you a eunuch, and these have been working throughout history, so the difference is in the practical realm. Not philosophically.
@@janpetra1724Yeah, it appears that an aspect of BIID is the desire to become disabled, not just to remove or change a body part. The average trans person isn't trying to be disabled & I think most would prefer to be fully functioning in whatever way. Any disability they end up with is more like an unintentional 'side effect'. Though I think some people fall into a weird middle area. You could have a man who wants to disable himself sexually (as a fetish) so he gets castrated to purposely become a eunuch. Physically, that may not interfere w/ him leading a 'normal' life but he technically disabled himself on purpose & he enjoys having the disability. That's gonna be different from a person who removes their genitals for gender identity reasons- like the so-called "non-binary surgery" the Crane Center was advertising. So I think there's a big difference between not wanting/tolerating a particular body part vs enjoying the idea that you're missing the body part.
@skwerlz4us Interesting take on it, I have to say. I also won't discount some people who want to disable themselves sexually, some guys are terrified of their own sexuality, and resort to chemical castration or more.......example would be pedophiles who arn't also psychopathic and are unwilling to act out their pedophilia. I guess chemical castration and mild hormone replacement to maintain bone health would actually reduce the crime rate for such individuals. Testosterone is a very potent substance and does a lot of things to the mind, eg, amplifies any sexual urges and exaggerates sexual orientation, so it makes sense those with inappropriate urges (dangerous paraphilias, sadism, and pedophilia) while still have a conscience will want it gone. Oh, and what is a non-binary surgery the crane centre was advertising about?
we are in a state of decadence, extreme materialism, self indulgent consumerism, non spiritual, non prayerful, aggressive smug self satisfaction and rejection of reality. This young commentator with his ideas of self indulgence to any extreme is so typical of the modern shallow mind. Almost unbearable to listen to his pronouncements. What has happened to common sense? Has social media destroyed the minds of humanity to this level of stupidity? I despair.
I agree. Secular society decided God was dangerous or irrelevant and here we are in this quagmire of confusion, lies, conceit, hubris, self indulgence, and increasing discontent. When we put ourselves at the centre of reality instead of God we eventually lose or distort our purpose and our significance.
Indeed... I despair too. Seeing the way the world is deeply depresses me and feels hopeless. All my dreams as a little girl of what the future would be like, raising a family, growing old or even pursuing a career seem impossible and begin to vanish seeing such a ruthless and immoral world we live in. Like... life just barely feels worth living anymore since the point of our humanity is to share and be connected, but this post-modern world and self-indulgent mentality just further isolates us from eachother and allows and perpetrates degenerate and criminal behavior. Seriously, the world has become a very, very dark place...
A big problem is viewing the opposite sex as "Other" and reinforcing gender roles in dating culture, as well as feeling entitled to women as sexual objects and status symbols. I was raised to be friends with both boys and girls and see everyone as people, equals, not objects or stereotypes. In pre-internet alternative/progressive culture, people were friends with each other, authentic, no personas or head games, no "dating," just getting to know different people and sometimes sex/romance sparking. Now dating is like shopping and hoping you have enough status points and manipulative strategies to buy the perfect product. Sick mindset.
The words “dating” and “relationship” have lost their former meanings. They are indefinable in today’s world. I try to avoid using either at the risk of being completely misunderstood or offensive.
He says being a woman is easier. I think he's thinking about his current life as a male and then adding feminine gestures to his body like a costume. There's no way to understand the female experience and its challenges unless you've lived it. I'm sure that's true for being male too.
The thing about it being easier that's usually meant is not the full experience of the female existence and the goals you have as a woman, it's the mundane, basic, day-to-day life and how you interact with your surroundings. In that case, there is a point. But it's not due to biology, it's due to the culture surrounding you. I certainly would never claim that women in islamic countries have it easier than men. But in the western world I'd say it's broadly true. But of course there's always positives and negatives to both sides, and it doesn't hold true for absolutely every situation. And at the end of they day, every life is different anyway. Some things might seem extremely difficult to you while others just handle it fine without even considering that it could be difficult for someone. (Which ironically is what happened in this video when they were talking about incels, one literally was a model and the other looks like he pretty much could be a model and they brought the classic "just have confidence bro" argument lol)
"There's no way to understand the female experience and its challenges unless you've lived it" - This is what dishonest people do to silence someone just because you didn't liked, XX do have it easier and you know it pretty well. Every time, someone says "if you didn't went through what I went through, you have no right to give an opinion", is just a way to manipulate and take away a person opinion about something, you just don't want to be criticized by the bad choices you did in your life.
@@roscoejones374 Norah Vincent. I've seen a few interviews with her and the mini documentary made about her experience (although I haven't read the book). Her conclusion didn't seem to be that women have it easier but that both sexes have a completely *different* set of difficulties. [Which perfectly explains why both sexes might believe the other has it easier. Both sexes probably have it easier in some ways. Both have it harder in others.] What I find interesting about her experiment is that she was obviously still a woman while trying to fulfill a male role which adds an extra layer to her experience. It's a fascinating story. It deeply affected her and unfortunately is no longer with us as I think she could be a really important voice in this current climate.
Exactly. I love pissing off these liberal lunatics. When they ask you what are your pronouns are tell them "She / them" ... as in "Let me she them titties"
@@antihebrew there are many more male sexual predators committing sexual assault and rape upon women than psychopaths attacking the male population (who are more physically equipped to handle an attack than a woman) -- women have a reason to be legit afraid, based on evidence and experience.
I have six adult children including twins and I disagree that adults decide the gender personality traits. When my three oldest children were pretty young they were playing with plastic dinosaurs. The two older boys were fighting with the dinosaurs then they would hand the “injured” dinosaurs to their sister. She would wrap it in a blanket and nurse it back to health. I didn’t tell them to do this, they came up with the game. Our twin daughters have nothing in common except being born on the same day. One is a Tom Boy and was off to conquer the world very early. She walked at ten months and never slowed down. Her twin wanted to stay close to me and was much more careful and shy. Kids come with a lot of their personalities from birth.
Bingo! AND your twin girl would not turn into or want to be a male if you called her that. When I now think about it, I was tom boy, but never once thought of wanting to be a boy.
No no no. If you want sex change surgery then you are not mentally well enough to consent to it. It’s ok to tell them no, they are not well. They need looking after.
Especially galling in his case because by any standard he is a desirable male who could date men or women because he is cute (he claims to have modeled and I see it--he is cute, does he realize that the vast majority of women could not model professionally?)
As a meek man myself (although not exactly short) I have never been afraid of other men, in no circumstance. And I'm gay. So he obviously doesn't have a clue about how women feel.
I know the Channel 4 documentary seemed absurd and that editing can really skew a narrative. But the conversations left in amd highlighted did not reflect someone wanting to transition because of a dysphoria. Rather someone wanting to transition for comfortable attention and said earnestly that any actions they could have done when "being a man" seemed like hard work. I am terrified that transtioning and taking up womens spaces is the new place for mediocre men to settle for. What an insult on womanhood.
I love how Andrew can disagree with and challenge someone but also show empathy to them and learn things from them. That's a real skillset for an interviewer and for a human being in general.
Entitled people who don’t have other concerns in life -like finding food and shelter - have time to consider that they are in the wrong body. I feel bad for him but I advise get out and do some productive work.
I almost got through this video, but had to stop watching it. Complete and utter bollox to all of it. Women are women and men are men. Women do not in any way have it easier in life. If the commentator was a woman he would have known that. And as for rounding up the very personal to each woman, the subject of menstruation, of being a FIVE day thing to be brushed aside, made me furious. I am really disappointed with this video and feel Heretics has been let down by this one sided, insignificant interview.
What an interesting viewpoint on transmaxing. I do agree that an adult can do whatever they want. However, I would push back on having people that are trans without having gender dysphoria (those with AGP) - it is unfair that these individuals think they can force others to accept them in female only spaces. Particularly, those that are straight and looking to increase their chances for sex with women. Absolutely no access to women only spaces.
While there is a part of me that understands why people feel that adults should be allowed to do what they want with their bodies I have a level of frustration that no one ever brings up the medical ethics of allowing adults to do whatever they want. If we are to allow medical doctors (and the medical industry as a whole) to do “whatever” to an adult what is the point of even having medical ethics? I used to work in the medical field and I was taught and trained to believe that medical ethics served a purpose and was important for the medical field. While it may be possible to remove a healthy limb and replace it with a robotic/bionic limb the question should be is this medically ethical? Why do we not allow adults to get cancer treatment because “they feel like they need it”- no responsible doctor would green light it because medical ethics call for them not to. Why are doctors not allowed to prescribe powerful medications without an actual diagnosis or reason for prescribing the drugs? In my perspective it seems that the medical industry is throwing away age old medical ethics and replacing it with profit motivated consumerism. Personally I don’t think this is the best trade off. If possible it may be interesting to find an expert on medical ethics and having a conversation about this.. It could be a fascinating conversation.
I'll agree with the discomfort with a lot of the increasing accessibility to hormone therapy being due to a degradation of medical ethics in the face of consumerism. The trouble is what options do people have when they are just told "your problems aren't real, we refuse to help you". The current situation is weirdly too restrictive and too permissive at the same time.
@@HansLemurson I agree in a sense. I can’t help but also feel that people really just need to deal with a certain level of discomfort in life. Sometimes things are just really in your head (using “your” as a general term here). Taking steps to not ruminate on things and maybe some mindfulness and acceptance of self and life can go a long way (of course I know there’s individual situations that may warrant different approaches). Society has emphasized so much that we should “be happy” and “be comfortable” and such things that people have forgotten that the majority of our life we are simply “ok” or just “content” or “just living day by day” and that is actually a good place to be. We can’t remain in some euphoric happy mania - that is not natural. Biggest thing though is that there is no magic pill or surgery that will solve all the problems in a person’s life. The doctor’s and medical field’s job is to promote health and wellbeing. Even if that means that an adult can’t get exactly what they want. And that is one reason why I believe medical ethics is so vital and is one of the biggest factors that needs to be considered when having this conversation.
I don’t like this guy. He’s sympathetic enough to use the feminine or even enby pronouns, but does not acknowledge the systemic or biological advantages that men have at all and is fine with female prisoners being uncomfortable: “They’ve put the effort in!” Yikes. And the awkward fake laughter after any emotional openness… very cringe-millennial coded.
He was sexuallt abused and is still working toward becoming healthy. I pray that he does. Without his journey to the dark side, we wouldn't know this information.
@@FarmGalSal987 Many of us have been sexually abused, we don't all go mental about it and reach any dark side at all, we don't have that luxury, no time to gaze at our navels we have to live life as best we can.
Stomach acid breaks down estrogen, hence drinking milk won’t make you more feminine. Now, he said, ‘she’s kicked him out of the house.’ Is this a guy, in a gay relationship? You see how confusing it is when we don’t define ‘he and she.’ As he uses ‘he’ for women, I’ve really no clue whether he was married to a man or a woman.
Thanks for mentioning this. I must remember to read the DESCRIPTION page of Andrew's, channel, before listening to the episode, to find out who the guest is and where they coming from. Through most of this interview I didn't know if he was married to a woman and where his transition ended.
Sex is absolutely amazing with the right person, it's a wonderful world of discovery joy and pleasure, but the want and need for sex can end up with so many problems on so many different levels you have to question is it worth it.
There's something I pick up from him that's a bit odd and quite annoying to listen to, it's as though he has a lot of repressed rage that comes out in a weird way.
I have heard of Transmaxxers and I am listening to your guest with interest. I do sympathize on the aspect of older males grooming younger ones bc they are into "forced feminization" etc. What REALLY pisses me off though as a woman is that there is a complete inability to fathom how this affects women. NO, particularly as a woman in STEM, we DO NOT want to be forced teamed with creepy guys who can't deal with their sex drive and want to invade women in stem events. JFC. We are people, not failed men that lop their bits off.
Sascha is so thoughtful and intelligent about all this. However, not entirely sure with the blanket idea that it's easier day to day to be a woman. As you get older you just have to get used to being ignored and pushed out of the way all day long as well as the continual bombardment with the idea that basically you are just falling to bits because 'hormones' and 'losing your looks'. So much depends upon individual differences. I remember having a revelation when I spent a few days with an old school friend who's blond and pretty - had not seen her for decades - I realised she just lived in a world where she just expected, all day long, that 'the nice man will help her'. We just lived our lives in completely different worlds.
Totally agree. The only person who thinks life is easier as a woman is someone who truly has no idea at all what being a woman is like. That’s just a complete fantasy of someone who doesn't want to bear the burdens of being a man. Which I’m told are considerable. Still doesn’t mean bearing the burdens of being a woman is less difficult or painful. I repeat, sheer fantasy.
Succinctly and beautifully said. My experience as well. Older transwomen however are given gold carpet treatment, unlike us, due to the current political climate.
I'm sorry to hear that. Being a dude I'm obviously blind to a lot of the struggles of women, in the same way women are blind to the unique struggles of men. No one is at fault for that. I'm tired of the sexes being played off against each other. I think men and women work better together when trying to understand each others problems rather than compete.
It's not easier being on the wrong side of the gender pay gap and it's not easier doing the bulk of the housework when you work full time and share a house with others (it is better for some women than it was for their mothers but by no means most women who live with men. Most house husbands don't work anything like as hard as most house wives either). And it is not easier having periods, giving birth or going through menopause. It's misogyny writ large to think women's lives are easier because some men are bullied by some men.
This is extremely important to bring up no matter how dark. This is what people like JKR are trying to get at. There are other motives at play for men to transition than a simple gendered soul.
@@connor5669 Not really. Ask any person tending towards trans that you know "would you be happy in your body as it is, if you could?" and you will get a resounding "no." If being comfortable was the goal, the answer would be a resounding, deafening, "yes."
Gender dysphoria is a political term, not a clinical diagnosis, but body dysmorphia is. It includes eating disorders, apotemnophilia and other psychological disorders about body perception. We know they can be social contagions and can cause serious harm if the dysmorphia is affirmed, see anorexia.
I didn't hear him say pretty men belong in womens prisons with women. He said trans people should have their own units. And that nobody should be allowed to transition while in prison. What's crazy to me is that a person can be given what they need in prison to keep up their pretend gender identity, but if i were incarcerated needing chronic pain and dependency medication then i would be left to suffer at levels of inhumane cruel torture.
That’s the transhumanists’ sci-fi perfect future. Mind, it’s about weeding out those deemed chaff so the few can attain robo or virtual immortality. We’ve all watched the original Star Trek and know how that ends!
I think that there can be a rare condition in which people don't feel comfortable with their body. We are also living in an age in which people manufacture victimhood to reap it sociatal power rewards. What I think is happening now is that all these activists, weirdos, perverts, people with other mental issues which makes them susceptible to influence, trolls, the woke and the otherwise postmodern people are trying to jump on that legitimate condition.
Exactly. But even when it’s a legitimate condition, it still doesn’t make that person “really” the opposite sex or “really” an amputee trapped in the body of a fully intact person, etc.
This guy seemed to imply that gender was a social trait, and therefore a boy acts male because he doesn't play with dolls. What rubbish the David Reimer scandal proved that to be false.
instead socialization plays a very important role, the claim that all males are or should be "super macho men" and females are or should be all "Barbie girls" is insane. People have a personality that differs from each other and pushing these stupid gender stereotypes is useless and harmful. Some males like to play with toy cars and others like to play with dolls, and both are fine and both are males but each of them has a unique personality and the same goes for females
Does a person have the right to inflict a status condition upon themself that will require taxpayers to foot the bill for the long-term consequences? Why should their choice impinge upon my wallet?
Most men don't hate women either, though a lot do. And whilst most women don't hate men - a lot do. The difference is, as a man I don't really care because I know there's an almost near-zero chance that'll ever manifest as violence towards me.
Also guessing you mean younger women, in terms of objectification? Older women are flat-out ignored by men, to the point of dehumanising them, unless we're related.
@@tteros5998 I was young once my first experience with being objectified was 4 years old. The look of lust and desire from the neighbor that was my mom's age was unmistakable. Men wanting to be trans has so much to do with their expectations and fantasies.

The problem with all the surgeries is that the average taxpayers are on the hook for a lifetime of medical needs and complications. At the same time experimental transition surgeries and many follow-ups are being performed, a person with debilitating health issue struggles to get treatment. There is a case in Canada where the public health system is covering extremely expensive specialty surgery that would allow the person to have both male and female sexual organs at the same time that other Canadians are on long waiting lists to get regular medical care.

Just be aware that eunuchs have always been created by empires as sexual objects, the Chinese, Persian, Turkish Ottoman, even the Catholic Church had eunuchs until recently (the Castrati). In recent times the Medical/Pharmaceutical Empire has brought back eunuchs, albeit with some modern surgical embellishments. Also in these cultures "sex dolls" were popular, so if you can find a commonality between eunuchs and sex dolls it may give you a clue as to the psychology of these people.
Women carry and bring forth new life. Our entire bodies and minds are dialed into to this beautiful fact of our existence. We nurture and love our children, regardless of their age, their entire life. Once we become mothers, our minds are never free of thoughts and concerns for their well being. Then, when child bearing years are over, we become grandmothers if we are so blessed and the process enlarges. No man can ever experience what this means. He may appreciate it, even love and admire it, but he will never EXPERIENCE it. And I’m so dreadfully tired of this game…..
An amazing interview, so deep, so sincere and deeply concerning that there are so many predators to take advantage of vulnerable people. May women and men prosper in strong loving families. Thank you so much for sharing 🙏❤️
Sascha Bailey's description of his anguish was missing the most important component of anguish: shame. People are ashamed of shame so it's never mentioned when shame is behind what it's wrongly called "emotional pain". It's not pain, it's shame.
"Tina" 18 years old. A male. Wants to remove his male sex drive. Why? Did he turn to a psychotherapist? It is not normal to despise your own sex drive. This is work for a therapy not transition 🤦🤦🤦
The emperor has no clothes - its not kind to say he's clothed - and people are now waking up to that. I wonder how this will be looked back on in ~10 years
Unfortunately I'm beginning to give up on our ever getting rid of this terrible ideology. It is so entrenched in our institutions and young people have been brainwashed.
The trouble with privilege is that it's invisible. A lot of it is the things that _don't_ happen to you. You don't notice the things that don't happen. He's probably unaware of all the ways that living as a male has protected and shielded him from harm. Similarly a lot of women don't know what it's like to be instinctively regarded as a threat. I think there's a lot of "the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence", but a lot of the stories that trans men and trans women have told about how society treats them differently once they start passing are very interesting.
@@HansLemurson "passing" is the key, if they are attractive and youngish of course they will get the perks from that, I can tell you that for example when I gained a lot of weight I was treated with contempt from both genders, it was an eye opener since I had been rather pretty as a young woman and was treated well by both men and women. I want to know how trans women who don't pass, or who are older get treated.
It's always heart breaking to hear these stories. Sobering to think how individual actions, towards other individuals, can have such huge impact and one hopes there's a justice system to address that. I hope his abuser was brought to justice! On a lighter note: I would consider 5 days/month good going (if only it was just that and not every 28-ish days as well!😂) and are you advocating for prisons segregating "pretty" people (very subjective) from "not pretty people". Women are not all stereotypically "pretty" and I have known beautiful people who behaved/spoke cruelly towards others. Indeed, people with stereotypically "unattractive" features are often vulnerable to abuse.
There's still a black hole in society around the difficulty of puberty. The only transition going on is kids transitioning to adults via puberty. All the confusion and comparison and shame could easily be talked thru - educating kids that they are OK and in a few years it will all be in the past.
Yes, puberty is difficult. I had a hard time accepting growing up especially when I started menstruation. I was glad to get through menopause. Now my granddaughter is also disliking growing up due to menstruation and needing to wear a bra. She wants to stay a child, not become a boy.

Such an enjoyable, substantial conversation. Sascha speaks from both personal experience and some considered detachment. He really has reflected on his life and doesn't just trot out the usual platitudes. Women have a harder time as they age and all women are judged upon their looks more now than ever! Young people have not been taught to value the wisdom of age and experience, sadly. Ageism against women is still rife - especially from younger women!! But young white men are having a terrible time. Society needs competent, confident able men. we should celebrate them. I think that his insight into the emotional turmoil that feeds the trans mania will be hugely valuable in understanding and defusing it. Thank you gentlemen!
I wish my period was 5 days. It lasts a week, so for 12 weeks out of the year, or 3 months, AKA 1/4 of the year, I’m on my period. From the age of 9 until I’m 50ish. Same for me. 7 days plus heavy periods to the point i went to the dr several times throughout life just for them to dismiss me. Finally found out on my own in my late 20's it was an actual condition I had through research..... Anyway, I'm waiting for menopause at this point. I'm just glad I'm not like my childhood friend who's p@in is so bad she blacks out. She has p@in medication and they give her a hard time getting them. Like, she's not an @ddict.
I'm going to be the man that jumps in and tells women how they should feel about womens issues...only joking but in all seriousness my mother and one of my daughters both have endometreosis (might be spelt wrong) and it has been rough as hell on them. Even without complications and health issues periods, giving birth etc. (I have 5 daughters and was at all their births) are brutal and I genuinely admire woman going through all that.
Narcissism is the biggest problem, it obscures your view of what is real. If a man wants to be a woman because she seems to have advantages that he misses and at the same time is blind to her needs, he doesn't know what he claims to understand.

So he played out the fantasy of being a little girl…
I’m SO glad you’ve brought this topic to light and I hope you continue to do so.
😬🤔

That’s an average of 40 years being attuned to a cycle. There’s no homeostasis that is disrupted for 5 days every month. For women (of procreative age), our normal IS the cycle of change. Every. Single. Day. Could a man possibly understand what that’s like? It’s not about making the experience of being a woman to be better or worse than that of being a man.

@@Sherlock245 Oh no. Not that fallacy.
Because men are perverts🤷🏼♀️
Periods is not just bleeding for 5 days, it for many women can be very painful and last for much longer and effects them mentally because of hormonal changes.

That same logic could be applied to all hate speech legislation.
firing people and jailing people (in Canada) for not saying a preferred word is plain and simple authoritarianism and dictatorship
"If someone wants to cut their leg off, they're probably not of sound mind, but if they have a reason for it, then fine" is one of the most insane things i've heard anyone say in a while...and i've heard a lot of insane things recently!
I mean, is it any more insane that trans?
I agree. Secular society decided God was dangerous or irrelevant and here we are in this quagmire of confusion, lies, conceit, hubris, self indulgence, and increasing discontent. When we put ourselves at the centre of reality instead of God we eventually lose or distort our purpose and our significance.
So happy to see your comment. You spoke so eloquently what I was thinking. What is wrong with these unbelievably shallow individuals.
Ok Jezebel.
Pre-internet Conservative culture was the same-no need to be ''progressive''.

Women do have it easier. I have a source, it's a book written by a feminist. Self-Made Man: One Woman's Journey Into Manhood and Back Again.

He didn't come any closer to becomng a woman, though.
I think the same way.
Best comment yet. 💯

It's easier to be a woman FOR WOMEN.
This is extremely important to bring up no matter how dark. This is what people like JKR are trying to get at. There are other motives at play for men to transition than a simple gendered soul.

Western men are all that is standing between civilization and chaos!!! Please know that you are needed and appreciated
the priest at my church was right. "The clergy have come to a consensus that the social media is the Devil".
Amen 🙏🏼
The emperor has no clothes - its not kind to say he's clothed - and people are now waking up to that. I wonder how this will be looked back on in ~10 years
Unfortunately I'm beginning to give up on our ever getting rid of this terrible ideology. It is so entrenched in our institutions and young people have been brainwashed.
Sascha saying it’s easier to live as a woman, give me strength!! Infuriating listening to him in that section
It is easier being a woman in today's society...
Sascha is very brave to speak out like this. Eloquent and transparent. Gotta admire him. Stay strong. ❤
Autogynephilia
Could be, and they are passing it off as something else, or this could be another shade of men dressing as women, the shades that don’t identify as females, they just want to be one in their fantasy. Like sissy porn. That will probably get my comment deleted. I tried three times to type auto gyno etc in the chat and lost my comment to the yt wind 💨
Let’s try to keep yours here
being SA as a child too....
Most wmn are AGPs
@@OrwellsHousecat wrong. Moser altered questions to skew results. When presented with the original questionnaire, women aren't AGP.
Also, AGPs have normal, masculine MRIs with the exception of "networks inferred in processing of body perception."
@@OrwellsHousecat you are insanely stupid for that comment. Autogynophila is when a MAN is turned on by others seeing him as a woman. Women cannot be autogynophiles. Fn moron.
I appreciate his point of view. But calling men, women and women men is exactly what the pronoun game is...
'Inconvenient '?! I lost my job once after working there for years because my boss was jealous of my boyfriend and when i agreed to get engaged to my boyfriend, he threw a fit.
Id put up with his drunken texts late at night, brushed off his advances after boozy lunches etc and i loved my job. I was there for years and liked my colleagues.
When i fell pregnant with my fiance, he sacked me that day. And yes i took him to court but because i knew the financial state of the company only managed to get 1.5 months wages as compensation.
I could mention a thousand 'inconveniences' which as it turns out are quite detrimental!
I’m glad I live in a small world of go to work 9 hours a day, clean on Saturday, church on Sunday and if I’m lucky a nap. I have no time for nonsense and no money to spend on foolish pursuits. People need to pray to God for help not contact weirdos with no track record of solving someone else’s problems. Pray. Say some prayers. It works beautifully. And for heavens sake, STOP THINKING ABOUT SEX SO MUCH!
It doesn’t mean the argument is salient, it’s perverse.
It wouldn't be harmful to others If they didn't pretent to be the opposite sex.. and want to be called incorrect pronouns..and it wasn't being pushed in schools as a normal option for teens with problems and parental legal rights as guardians being ignored..
There is nothing normal about it.
@@pathacker4963 Of course not... I actually saw where a man now calling himself a woman was allowed to change his birth certificate and passport to female...can you imagine the confusion in all records with that being the case?
I’m 25, so I have my age again for periods and then menopause. I wish these things weren’t a thing. Lmao. So I’ll spend like 9 years of my life bleeding. 🤡
Like, she's not an @ddict.
gross!
Me too and now menopause. It’s horrible 😭
@@antihebrew Get a grip.
