Wow you just saved my life 😭😭. I just started using premiere pro and I was getting frustrated trying to figure out how to simply get my text to slide on
it's interesting but honestly why they don't just add auto animations? like if I want to make a one hour long lyrics video with different text animations it's gonna be a difficult task
Hey thanks for this very quick and informative video, I was worried at first about it being to simple but half way you really nailed what I was looking for. 🙂
I'm considering doing a trial of premiere but am I correct in understanding that you have to do this for every single time you want text in your video? There's no drag and drop transition like there is in between video? Like there is in pretty much every other editing program
@adobe in a Minute Do you think you could do the same thing but with the text on a panel? I am trying to make an information box the slides out over a video to explain something and then slides off? Thanks
Love the tutorial but get a speech coach my friend! Your tutorials would benefit from it but your skills are great and so are your teaching skills. Thanks again!
You may have answered this or made a video about it that I missed. But, say we create exactly what you did. Is there a way to save it all. If I am creating a vid that needs several phrases to slide in and out. To create the same effect from scratch each time would get a bit tedious. Great videos by the way. I am sitting her binging them.
This is going to sound so stupid. But when you change the position value, you move the numbers really quick. I presume you're using your mouse to scroll the numbers up and down? However my mouse won't allow me to do that. So it looks too jumpy when I set the position because I can't see the exactly coordinates without manually moving it with my mouse.Do you know how to sort this?
Great video! I'd like my text to slide in 'out of no where' if you know what I mean. In stead of coming in from the left off screen I want it to pop up behind 'something transparent' in tghe middle of the picture. Makes sense? Thanks again! :)
Hey, i'm trying to achieve this same effect with an image i imported rather than text, however when i apply blur length the image gets a weird offset and is almost completely off screen, it then snaps back to the center when it reaches the two middle keyframes. Any idea what might cause this and how to fix it?

I don't scroll with the mouse. You just have to drag the value to the left or right.
