    Here in the US we would be complaining about everything. We get angry with each other,not here they work together and use whats available.Thank you, you guys are amazing.

    Странно что собранный солидол обратно не запихнули а нового набили. Зато масло ещё не пробежало свой миллион километров, обратно его залили. Могу помочь пакистанцам с более свежим маслом, всего 10ткм пробежало, самовывоз из МО. Так же могу ключей ненужных старых отсыпать, возможно кто то откроет свою мастерскую.

    Amazing work. These guys display the best of out of the box thinking in order to solve mechanical problems with limited resources. If they had the choice, I'm sure the would be working in the prestine, clean assembly rooms where Porsche, AMG, and Nissan GTR engines are assembled. They don't have those options/ facilities, so they work in the conditions available to them. For those of us who like to do a bit of DIY wrenching on weekends, I think watching these guys overcome hurdles that would stump many of us is facinating. Imagine what they could do if the had the proper tools, training and facilities. Well done!

      Amazing an understatement!!!!, for the mechs have no option but use the limited tools equipment acquired mostly second or third hand to dismantle ,remove , repair the axle, and re fit with traffic screaming past inches from their backs. No high viz jackets, not even a lad with a warning flag, all down to this, the lorry wheels are not rolling so am not earning , the rent will not be paid ,the wife and kids go hungry.

      In the US, it would not be repaired, likely a whole new axle, which would need to be ordered, very little would be reused. Truck would be out of service for weeks if not months and cost $10’s of thousands to fix. There it likely costs a few $100 to fix on the spot and most truck drivers are self employed and need to be on the road even if they beat their trucks to death.

    • @basiltaylor8910
      @basiltaylor8910 Рік тому

      @@allanadam4553 Exactly my sentiment, even in the UK it is far cheaper to scrap the broken axle casing and as you rightly said, order a new one, but is not the case in India or Pakistan. Owner drivers have not the luxury of scrolling a computer screen to find a new or reconditioned part. They rely heavily on roadside artisan repair shops with the right skills and blue sky thinking in order to keep their clapped out overworked lorries in some semblance of roadworthiness . Did you see that rickety three wheeled trolley the mechs used moving the broken axle casing to their workshop, it was more clapped out than the lorry ,its wonky rear wheels splayed out like the legs of a Queen Anne chair.

      i am not sure if all of them want to work in an unnatural , frightening clean assembly room for those high end cars. its not only to work there, its a complete different behaviour in education, knowledge, rules and law, etical codex, foreign language skills and much more. and even with high wages, still a very unnatural environment. i have all those skills do work for mercedes or man etc in europe, but i prefer more naturality on constrution sites, farms and homes to make my skills lead to a quality result and directly happy people.

    • @basiltaylor8910
      @basiltaylor8910 Рік тому

      Er excuse me, those poor mechs could not afford to buy the ash tray on those premium cars you once worked on, just happy to get paid end of the week, the wife , kids fed and clothed. I too worked the shitty end of the automotive food chain on old dogs , getting their engines to run and the wheels turning, does not matter what it looks like so long as the f-----g thing starts and drives.

    Great work by very hard working guys using only basic tools.
    This truck is not overloaded. Its a 26ton gvw double drive tractor unit and if using Cat 2 STGO could ( engine power dependant) be plated at 80ton gross. This is just plain wear and tear.

    • @carlosnavarro921
      @carlosnavarro921 2 дні тому

      Can you imagine if they had power tools or even socket wrench set, it's definitely wear and tear. It looks to me like the second axle is a tag axle and not a drive axle I could be wrong though

    Вопрос!! Почему не используется простая акумуляторная дрель-шуруповерт для откручивания ослабленных гаек и болтов. Это значительно сэкономит время.

      Мне кажется что такой ремонт стоит раза в 4 дешевле самого среднего гайковёрта. Здесь наверно уместно выражение "Ебашу за кашу" то есть работают за миску бириани с мясом. Там наверно весь ручной инструмент на 50$ выйдет максимум.

    It would have been a whole lot easier and smarter to not overload the truck to begin with. You see overloaded trucks throughout the 3rd world, probably a big business in fixing axles. I wonder how well lined up the hub is to the rest of the axle?

  • @jayaramsn3666
    @jayaramsn3666 23 дні тому

    The trucks appear to be extensively used for all purposes , due to depreciated cost, and low repair cost. The repair on the trucks are durable and probably last more than the original.

    😅 I just watched the guy pump the grease back in the old grease he should have put new fresh grease in the axle I think it would have been a lot better then pump an old grease in the rear end they just fixed thank you.

  • @Arclite100

    I notice this truck has hydraulic brakes and not air-brakes. Not even sure if that would be legal in the USA for a truck of this size. I would like to see a mechanic explaining to a cop that you were going to tear an axle out from under a truck on MAIN STREET, fix the axle and then reinstall it. It would be a funny conversation.

    • @thepubliceye
      @thepubliceye Рік тому +1

      This is not a semi truck the brakes are air over hydraulic which is better than air only.. Air brakes on Semi Trucks are needed because hydraulic brakes won't work on a trailer.

    It's not the first time someone was in that axel. You could see the old repair brazing on the wheel side when they took it apart. I wonder how long such repairs last normally. I'd imagine any heat treat is destroyed the first time.

    a pneumatic drillbit could not be sooo extremely expensive and lasts years, even under these conditions. i wonder that they do not have one for those hard sitting nuts on long threads.quicker dismantling, more trucks to repair over the week. or are there so less trucks to repair that there is a need to extend the stay and repairtime to eternity?
