Nikolaiii Leffen was taking this set half seriously the whole time if you haven't caught on, you should have by game 3, maybe game 4 but by game 5 it should definitely be obvious Leffen is just playing with his food. It almost cost him game 2. If Leffen tryharded the whole set, it would look much more brutal than the 5-0 already is. Don't let the close stocks fool you, ask any high level player who watched that set, Chillin was nowhere near Leffen's level.

Though this whole My B thing plagues Chillin, people have to remember that Chillin basically started the Fox meta, and found techniques much earlier than anyone else. He's literally the founding father of 20XX and MeleeHell.
I watch this video at least once a month to remind myself that sometimes things don't go your way. The world doesn't care about what's fair or what's right and wrong, it only rewards the strong. Sometimes the good guys lose despite everyone cheering for them, and all they can do is look across the destruction they were unable to prevent and utter "my b".
Bruh Leffen 100% deserved to win because he trained really hard and became super good. If Chillin wanted to prove something he should have practiced more.
You can really tell as the matches went on, Chillin got more and more nervous, it showed in his playstyle, and in his body language. Hearing him reflect on this set was interesting though, he said he mainly did it since he missed the intense heated rivalry of old school Smash. He admitted that Leffen was better, even if he did underestimate him by a lot. Chillin seems quite determined to improve after this set, which I hope he does because I like him as a player.
That's my favorite part of the whole disstrack actually. Chillin picked leffens worst moments to use as clips for the video, just him losing in general. But between all the epic sets and rage moments where leffen throws his controller and shit... there's him losing in RPS. That's fucking hilarious, he's dissing him from every angle.
This is why I love mango man. Even though chillin brought this on himself, he's still being a bro. Not a lot of people would put $1000 on the line for their friend.

Historically I find this to be the match that matured the competitive scene the most: you can't beat somebody because you don't like them, not everyone can be the best, this is competition, not fantasy land. Chillin' has alot of heart, but Leffen is 1 in a million, he posses a skill cap that only a very few people will every be able to acheive in their lifetime.
I haven't played Melee seriously in over a year. No practice, no playing people who are really skilled. If I just suddenly jumped back into it, of course I'm gonna lose. Chillin was dumb to even dispute it; there was no way Leffen was going to lose to him. He shouldn't have even tried.

You can really tell as the matches went on, Chillin got more and more nervous, it showed in his playstyle, and in his body language.
Hearing him reflect on this set was interesting though, he said he mainly did it since he missed the intense heated rivalry of old school Smash. He admitted that Leffen was better, even if he did underestimate him by a lot. Chillin seems quite determined to improve after this set, which I hope he does because I like him as a player.
