get yourself an Arc dehooker, awesome product, pops those big hooks right out, and the XL version keeps you at a good safe distance
You guys ever try using an Arc Dehooker? They make a large one for sharks. I've used it with quite a bit of success. Also if your fishing for a large shark that will be released why not crush down the barb on your circle hook. It would ensure it falls out in a reasonable amount of time.

Did you pick a circle hook that you know will rust out? I'm asking because all the hooks we use don't rust easily.

Nice going guys I catch mostly Blacktips from the surf when I have a fishing partner my girst was caught using an old Ocean city saltwater bait caster with a small handle 50lb braid and 80lb mono the brute took me down the beach about a mile it was the blast of my life we revived it what fun it was.
The next time I was more prepared using a Shimano Torium 30lb mono and 80lb leader it cast well and I use either jacks or bonita for bait when I can get them I have landed several sharks with this set up average about 80- 110 lbs however if a big bull comes along my gear is to light. Thanks guys for your videos

Good fishing...but why don't u go one step further and go barbless..just keep line tight an it will usually hold secure...+ U get your hook back on release....

That old bridge was designed to have train tracks on the bottom and the road deck was on the very top. Talk about sketchy.
Joe Uehlein it was built for trains only. After the hurricane of 1935 the bridges were badly damaged and train service was discontinued. State of fla bought the bridge system and on this bridge ,found it was most economical to build a roadbed on top of what used to be train tracks. Worked perfectly,just looks different from the other bridges.
@@mikecastellon4545 I'm sure the road bed was solid but sides really were not barriers like we see in today's construction. I bet it was a fun ride though. That road is my favorite drive of all time. Love the open water and being by those historic bridges. One day I hope to live cose to there and fish regularly.

Overall one of the best South Florida channels. They catch a nice variety of species and from very diverse platforms. Then they frequently show how to filet and cook them. They are a class act and seem to be very nice people. Jaelynn, his fiancee has her own channel which gives the female perspective. Watch a few of his vids to catch the link to hers.

U guys have big kahoonis the sharks are half the size of the boat.
that is why you do not go swimming in any canal in florida at night. those bulls come in to feed into tiny canals even to crowd up schools of fish. we caught a six footer off the dock near the yacht club swimming beach

UA-cam doesn't pay the bills any more.
That's brutal and inhuman when fishermen left those giant hooks on those fishes then kept saying it'll be rusted right out ! No they don't rusted right out like they said . It takes many long years for those giant sometime stainless steel kooks to rust out. Meanwhile those fishes are in pains every moment of those years !!! I have those hooks, size 20/0, I put one in heavy salted water for over 3 years, the hook still not rusted much at all ! Use the hook remover stick to remove the hook please !
Hahaha The water doesn’t rust them out the enzymes in their mouth and stomach do, and the hooks often fall out very easily after a short time in the mouth from the fish moving and the hook rusting
