P.M. Dawn is one of my absolute favorite artists of all time. I own all the albums on CD, all the albums (that were released on vinyl) on vinyl, the CD singles, imports, white label DJ versions of the 12" vinyl singles, you name it. I was fully sold on them when they released the first album during my high school years and went on to buy each subsequent album THE DAY it came out. Their music changed my life for the better and accompanied me through some of the most wonderful, and the most difficult, times of my life. Meanwhile, the absolute garbage re-recorded versions of their songs that Doc G/Dr. Giggles/Greg Carr has gone on to release under the stolen name are awful and nothing short of a crime. Yet when people look for P.M. Dawn in a lot of places online, THOSE are the versions they find. Ridiculous. Eternal, thank you for the music! Prince Be, rest in peace, rest in power. And to the wife/kids of Be, your husband/dad is an absolute legend. Peace to you and your family. Much love.
In 1998, here in Italy (where I live) while I was in the car with my girlfriend, on the radio, I heard the song by P.M.Dawn "Being so not for you (I had no right) ... I fell in love with it, unfortunately in in those days there were no smartphones or services like Shazam, which we could only dream of... the moment they said the name of the group and the song to buy the compact disc at the record store the frequency was interrupted, with GREAT regret... I never found it again because Italian radios RARELY played this kind of music, unfortunately. ...One of the songs I searched for years and years. I found it exactly 30 minutes ago! 25 years later, thanks to a playlist random Spotify! The first thing I did was say this to that girl who was in the car with me and who is now my wife! ... I can see why you'd think he was British, Set Adrift has a very mellow breakbeat sound reminiscent of ambient house and breakbeat music back then from the UK, as well as UK Street Soul music.
PM Dawn is in a category by itself, like Jimi Hendrix. Attrell was a genius composer and a beautiful singer while Jarrett had the melodic harmonies cornered. I will always love PM Dawn. (Miss you muchly, Prince Be ❤️ Thank you for the gorgeous music.)

The trademarking of the name PM Dawn sounds real shady. First, why would you go to a man who is on his deathbed and ask him can you trade mark the name his groups name? Secondly, if you were asking him on the up and up, why would you not have someone there to verify that he said it was okay? And thirdly, why would you not involve the two individuals who put together the group, and came up with the name, on the ownership of the trademarking of the name along with yours? That's a sucker move.

Thiz gave me a better understanding and respect for for them ❤️
Thank you 💙
I’m a huge hip hop head… in 1991, I had NWA’s EFIL4ZAGGIN & PM Dawns Album.
You can’t ignore their originality!
RIP Prince B. In my 50s I definitely grew up listening to PM Dawn!!! Still do.. And will, to my dying day!!!!
PM Dawn was my introduction to feel good music. This one made me tear up.
me to 😢 awesome story ❤
“How does it feel to be one of the beautiful…”
I literally pulled up 'I'd Die Without You' to listen to today Sept 16, 2024. That's what prompted me to look and see if there was an 'Unsung' for them. 💔 Heartbreaking story. They were an Amazing group.
There certainly was a spiritual component to it…That’s why it STILL feels good in 2023. Great, classic, timeless music
Boomerang had 1 of the best soundtrack ever.. but let's be very clear... I'd die without u is the best song on there. Argue with me
It's one of the best songs ever
True and before that song, many had never heard of PM
It is 😂😂😂 no argument needed.
There U Go by Johnny Gill, Love Shoulda Brought You Home by Toni Braxton, Feels Like Heaven by Kenny Vaughn
Rest in Heaven, Prince Be!!!! 2024, PM Dawn is STILL in my playlist! The Bliss Album and Dearest Christian!!! I love them!
I’d die without you Makes me cry every time I hear it on February 25 of this year my boyfriend will have been passed away to heaven five years from heart attack at 38 yea young
I adored p.m. dawn and I listen to music across-the-board hard-core punk rock and roll reggae hip-hop they are different and gold heart felt 💙🤔prince B YOU WILL LIVE ON W YOUR MUSIC
The Entertainment Industry is no joke
Ps Much Gratitude for sharing
Check this out.....When KRS One threw Prince Bee off a stage during a show.....believe it or not hardcore hip hop artist was very upset at KRS One for his assault on Prince Bee. The hip hop community was saying "How You Gonna Be For Black Education & Pride, But You Put Hands On Another Brotha & They wasn't a threat ....You a Hypocrite ! " I remember rappers was saying that about Kris. That's when I saw PM Dawn got so much support from the hardcore rap artist....I was glad rap back then stood up to I'll will behavior.....
💯⭐💯⭐💯⭐💯⭐💯⭐
For years I hoped they would do a show on PM Dawn . When Gangsta Rap was taking over the game and getting away from what started as party and feel good music these guys changed the game with melodic music with positve messages . I loved them from the first time I heard them and I still play their music to this day . What a great duo .
Oh to be back in the 90s again!!! 😢 I was in high school when this group debuted. Fell in love with this song as I fell in love. ❤❤❤
I love these guys! I still listen to them all the time and have all their songs!
I loved Die without you ❤They were so cool to me.I still love their music it was so calming to my mind, and soul still to this day…
So Glad PM brought Death, Memory & Reality into my life!!! So underrated! Needs HIGHLY TO BE RECOGNIZED AS A BEAUTIFUL SINGER, SONGER WRITER & HUMAN BEING, Amen🙆♀️🙏🙇♀️✌️👍💕😘💕🌎💕
I love all musical genders, but I remember first hearing these guys in 1991. I fell in love with them back then . I still love them in 2023.
When I hear their song, I always ALWAYS get goose bumps.
My favorite group of all time. Thanks for the post.
All these years later and I'm still transported right back to 1991. Such a great vibe and feel their songs are!! 💖💖💖
This is Jose, from Spain. Thank you so so so much for uploading this. We love you!
I still bump some P.M. Dawn joints that I still love.
I live on a small island in Hawaii called Moloka’i population 7000 30 miles long 10 miles across. Our so called club holds 250 at max. Well they came on the Heineken tour in the late 90’s I couldn’t believe it. I had to call the bar an ask, sure enough. There were only 11 people at the bar. I’ll never forget it, and he sounded amazing RIL Prince B ❤
Grateful to have toured and recorded with them.
How was it
I love PM Dawn. The original PM Dawn. Every since I saw their Unsung, and learned that the outside dude now owns their name, I do not stream non of their music anymore. I'm not giving money to that conniving dude.
He would be so very proud of his children! They have such beautiful voices! Just like him!❤❤❤❤
Memory Bliss for me combined my love of rap, r&b and soft rock in a way that nothing else could at that time…it was perfect!
Beautiful children I know there dad would be so proud of them.
0:12 this start never gets old 😢
Oh glad to see this video pop up! Loved their hit songs! I liked this duo!
I still cry whenever I hear I’d Die Without You
Me too. Everytime
I've always loved uniqueness. This is what I noticed when first hearing and seeing them. Being outside the box afforded them a variety of opportunities. Different is a breathe of fresh air.
Damn, mind blown. I'm saddened here to see all the dissention here coming from a so called "cousin" who came outta nowhere to "save the day". If you don't have trust then you have nothing. A thief full of GREED is what that guy is. Prince B always stood out as special to me even if I never invested in the music.
R.I.P. Prince B. ✌️💕🙏 You're voice will carry on forever.
I'd die without you is my favorite song of all time.
I loved them! They came out when one of my brothers were in H.S and my brother would blast them from his bedroom ❤️ I fell in love with this group through my bro. They were so talented and unique. Thanks for the upload.
Rest In Peace Prince B. I understand why God loves me. And I will always keep u near and dear in my soul. My ancestor. A guide
Wish you the absolute best jarrett. You are inspirational. It will happen for you.
I love PM Dawn still today, rest in peace, love you forever! He was unique different!
Wildly underappreciated group. Musically, they sound like what Seal and Trevor Horn would've sounded like had they taken to Hip-hop......
Which explains why the Brits were the ones in the music industry that first embraced them and gave them a record deal.
Oh man I loved them I'm so hype
So happy they did this for PM Dawn. Drake, Mos Def and Missy came about from smooth rap, r&b, jazz, funk, rock
May God Bless all the spiritual individuals who were moved by this music back in the day and for eternity....Jesus loves you all.
