    Moo bping might be the thing I miss most about living in Thailand. I make a decent version, but it’s never quite the same.
    The cilantro root is vital. When someone clued me into that it shocked me how big of a difference it made. It’s not always easy to find here in the US unfortunately.
    Great video. Thanks for sharing your moo bping secrets.

      can you grow it in there? or is it too cold?

      @@NinisCooking growing it would be a fantastic idea if I weren’t so lazy and inept at growing things.

    Thanks for the video! So Na Rak! Using the mortar to crush the garlic before removing the peels is a great tip. Now I feel dumb for using a mallet to smash garlic on a cutting board. They always go flying around the kitchen. X-D

      hehe, I know how the garlic is flying 😆😆 it happens to me too when I crush it with a knife on a cutting board.

    Hi Nin, thank you for sharing your recipes. They are amazing!! If I may, can you share a sour bamboo shoots recipe? A friend show me how to make it but I can’t remember the whole thing. I remembered it having anchovy sauce, tamarind juice, roasted ground rice and shredded bamboo. Boil everything except the ground rice to mix later. LOL, hopefully you know what I’m talking about? If so, would love to know how to make it again.

    you ever wonder why pork and not beef is called moo? the cows ask for it ALL THE TIME

  • @newyorker4988
    @newyorker4988 3 роки тому

    Wow..
    The word "Moo" in almost every culture is associated with a cow 🐂 (thus - beef🥩) and it really surprised me, tht in Thai "Moo" means pork.🐖
