  • There is such an activity around Adya, and many many people are going through some very significant changes. It just take watching a few of his dialogs with people to see that something very dynamic is happening in his presence.

I have listened to this video I'm umpteen times and never tire of it. It is one of the best for pointing out are erroneous ways and misunderstandings. A lifetime's work for most of us.

Its cuz people are attached to sex and validation. People might also benefit from checking out the work of Marnia Robinson who explains how the orgasm hangover leads to fighting and insecurity.

    Mate you are so cool
The love in my old mangled heart is pumping
like a new one & i feel safe for the first time in years
35 years of spiritual venom coursing through my soul
Ashrams gurus & childish spiritual ego trips strangling
my faith taking away my ground making me white @ the mouth.
In other words @ the sharp end of the perfect ruthless inner
    Sad guru.
I love the teaching of Nissagatta, ramana & the way that you are going about it.today im going to use my spiritual name
    Cheers from dharmadanta

@LeCanadienerrant Hi there, You know how if you are arguing with a person, some things can be said that are mean, hurtful etc? So he is saying if you are totally present, in your true nature, and you partner says something mean or hurtful, you will not be hurt or offended etc. because there will be nothing there that could be hurt or offended ie. your ego. Not an easy feat most would say, yet actually the easiest thing in the world to do, we are just not used to doing it!!! Hope that helps.

I practice with a Karma Kagyu group. Mostly Shi-ne and Chenrezi practice. Also Guru Rinpoche.
I really like Adyashanti's Chasing Enlightenment clip.

Hi! So i started reading the book "End of your World". Its interesting. It is about after awakening however, which i haven't achieved yet! Erm..
It is making me think, i have done a lot of work to improve my self esteem, and help to feel better in life. Is this path i have been on of trying to improve self esteem, and doing things which hav e really made me feel better in life, are they totally worthless?
not sure about that one! Man its a lot of confusion!
    S.

yah I just watched that. Its great! For a moment I got it, then I started to get confused again. But still I really like that vid. (i.e. I got, one just needs to stop and not chase anything)

Yah what do you practise? I do a bit of chanting "Amitabha" is what I chant. Emptiness dancing is quite cool cause it [points towards freedom/enlightenment/nature of mind. At least I think so I dont know much about this kind of stuff.

The selection of a partner has it's deal breakers initially...Right?
Like in this Form who wants to be around one with bad hygiene and I am a clean person for example

Is Adyashanti sitting on a leather seat? Pleeese - tell me it isn't?

  • @meghan42
    @meghan42 15 років тому

?????? Really? Where does the leather come from? How was it produced? They are cutting down huge tracts in the amazon now to make room for leather-producing animals. Not great for the animals and definitely not great for the planet. my comment about leather couch does not necessarily reflect on Adya.
