Rodman was a good person but certainly would of never been considered a role model. Dude was an alcoholic and partied every night while he was with the Spurs/Bulls. Not to mention his on the court incidents. Very talented and had a pure heart. But he had a lot of demons.

Now that is the strongest words from a legend for those who say he is nothing but a worm, a moron, and a bad bully guy who doesn't fit to professional NBA world... Dennis Rodman is a genius who happens to come always prepared in every game with arsenal of clear motives of game plans and execute them very well on the floor... No doubt he is the greatest of rebounder for ages, and in that department, he is the King.... His coming to the Bulls is but fate and destiny... Rodman is way more of a normal guy than everyone thought he was. He was just impulsive in his efforts to feel free. Roy Firestone is really antagonizing in this as an interviewer. Rodman won't bite though; sucks that this was the way most of the media treated Dennis back in the day. I think the media's treatment of Rodman has had an impact on his mental health and if he was playing in the nba in today's culture he'd be embraced and accepted more
