Nice video. While you mentioned the sounds is a bit different overall do you think it is still worth making the modification vs keeping the baffle in?

Since I have the original header with the cathalitic converter plus that black resonator before the slip on, the answer would be "Yes" for sure. Unlike all other videos I have seen here on UA-cam with the obnoxios loud single cylinder sound, surprisingly enough the Akra didnt exibit that similar outcome. It actually has a deeper sound instead. I was reluctant to do the mod but after hearing the sound I would not go back to the baffle.
Once I add the new header I am almost certain it will be a little louder. The note will change again.
      Thanks for watching.

Will changing stock exhaust to after market slip on need any ecu tune or air filter?
Also is it safe for engine only consider changing aftermarket slip-on exhaust ?

Answer Q1 pt1- changing to slip on only, no tune is needed, for all intended purposes the baffle serves as a sound attenuator and at times also as a spark arrestor.
Answer Q1 pt2 - air filter can be stock filter, (ECU tunes are usually needed for full system exhausts, air box mods including Lid removal kits or modified engines). If in doubt always talk to your dealership service department and follow their recommendation/s.
Answer Q2- In most cases the original engine tune should keep the engine safe if you only do a slip-on without any other changes or mods to OEM equipment. ( If unsure then talk to service department at your local KTM dealer)
