Video and instructions were lot clearer than i expected from the comments and definitely much better than the older cable tower video. At 2:53 they suggest putting part 37 under the supporting base, this contradicts what the instructions say and i only noticed because if you put underneath then the base rocks on the bolts instead of sitting on it's feet, so instructions was the correct way to go
Great video. Took me about 1.5 hours with 2 adjustable wrenches. (Not doing bat wing) the one thing I messed up on was putting the wall mounts on but had the back brackets so had to take them off to put the back brackets on. I got two of them to make it a power rack. I bet now that I have done one I can do the second one in an hour. Thank u guys!
At minute 3:18, the gentleman gave incorrect instructions that the holes further down/up the upright should face front/back. I just finished install and realize I can’t put the mechanism at the top hole and after I looked at the instructions, it was the inverse and the holes further down/up should face the sides. Not cool bc now I have to unhook everything including the pulleys to revolve the upright.
The instructions were a bit hard to follow and i found myself getting frustrated too. I did get it done in the end. Showing some zoomed out shots of how everything fits together would be helpful, especially for the pulley steps. Perhaps showing that before getting into each step as an overview before getting into it. The papaer instructions were very hard to follow, I'm glad you have a video at all!
Thanks for the feedback. Sorry to hear that you were having trouble, but we're happy to hear you ended up finding a solution. We're working to revamp our assembly videos to include more details during the more complicated sections of an assembly.
The video wasn't too bad, had no problems setting it up but definitely good to look at the instructions are you assemble it, I noticed for the cable setup you did the steps different from the instructions which is fine but may cause confusion for others. Another thing I'd suggest is showing footage from different angles as you're feeding the cable threw, a shot from farther back and shots showing the direction you went with the cables. When you showed the top pulleys I was confused at first on which way I had to start until I looked at the instructions. I'm happy to have it setup though, just need to mount it to the wall! Quick question: Does it necessarily need to be mounted to the floor as well? Or is the wall just fine, I don't plan on really doing any exercise movements that will have sideways pressure on the wall bolts
Thanks for the feedback. As we film more of these, we'll start to add close ups and more details going forward. As for your question, mounting this to the wall should be sufficient. We recommend one or the other.
Wait? I just ordered the plate loaded cable tower and the sales guy on the phone said I would need the cable tower with upright to attach to my Hydra rack with 2 Hydra crossmembers. I bought as instructed. This video, the guys say that you need the hydra upright in order to install the hydra crossmembers from the rack to the cable tower??
Started off great then went down hill. This is how install this (later in the video) now with this step if you have this version take off the plate we installed and mount the back post. Also, if I have the back post what the hell happens to the wall mounting bracket? The bolts to this get in the back post.

Just finished assembley really easy with the instructions and im really happy with the product ! Not sure why anyone is complaining its all very clear. If you cant assemble it with this video and instructions you should probably pay someone to do it for you 😂
Question: I have two cable towers that i mounted into the wall and im using as a half rack. Is it possible that if i got the back uprights and crossmembers to connect them together, i could then mount the lat pull/low row? Or, would i not have enough room for the lat pulldown bar between the uprights?
We're hoping to launch a product that'll connect the two cable towers in the future. As of right now we don't have a timeline on that product or a possible hardware pack
@@BELLSOFSTEEL regarding the forthcoming (unannounced) high pulley, it looks like it is not compatible with the pull up bar between two towers. Are you looking at a way to resolve that? And please, please develop a low row foot plate attachment. Bracing against the front foot just doesn't cut it. Thanks again for continuing to innovate!
Do you have to use 2 cross members or would it be sufficient to use the top one only? You also are using only 1 Hydra 90” post but they are sold in pairs only. What am I missing? I just put my Hydra together and this might be my only purchase.
We recommend 2, but a single upright at the top should be sufficient. Please reach out to our support team, they may be able to assist you in the 90" hydra upright purchase. support@bellsofsteel.com
Agreed. This is really hard to follow. Started off easy but you lost me during the cable instruction and now I’m just pissed off and having to walk away from the project until tomorrow. Honestly I think the paper instructions will be easier to follow than this video.

Step by step cable attachment starts at 6:38 , took me about 40 minutes to add the cables to the towers but fiddly but honestly I thought the video was pretty good
This video is better than your previous ones, but still pretty terrible, to be honest. Good product, but truly embarrassing execution on all instructions both paper and video. And not for nothing, if this video is supposed to be updated and better, why not delete the old ones?

Thank you so much for the updated tutorial! Mine is supposed to get here tomorrow can’t wait!
Thank you for updating the assembly video. Its too late for me, but hopefully itll make the process easier for somebody else in the future.

Sorry to hear!
We'll have a look into this portion of the video, it might be something we'll have to re-shoot
I finished mine today super easy tutorial to follow great job!! Love mine can’t wait to explore the variety of workouts on it!

Why not do a step by step on the cables. Or at least send better instructions. This is awful. I want to send my entire tower back now.

How can I attach this tower to a 1 inch hole upright
