NOTE: Adalbert LUTTER - German pianist and dance band conductor who was one of the most influential light music performers in Germany in the 1930/1940s. Born in 1896 in Osnabrück, he founded his first dance band shortly after the 1st WW in Hannover. Not very succesful, he emigrated to South America, where he stayed until 1928. After returning to Berlin, Lutter spent some time trying to launch his own dance band in the crowded jazz-and dance-music market of the Weimar Republic. In 1932, his dance orchestra began to gain recognition, becoming one of the most popular in Germany during the NSDAP regime from the mid-1930s. Its moderate big-band sound with the soft touch of the ballroom style suited the cultural administrators in the Third Reich, who were allergic to anything that smelled of American jazz. Therefore Adalbert Lutter’s orchestra was very much searched for at Berlin’s dance venues, including the Wilhelmshallen at the Zoo, the Pavilion or the roof garden at Café Berlin. His band’s vocalists were the most popular German singers, such as Eric Helgar, Rudi Schuricke, the Metropol Vocalists, the Spree Revellers or the Heyn-Quartet. Lutter was also a regular conductor at Telefunken records as well as the Deutsche Grammophon. After World War II, his orchestra was the resident band at the Berlin Radio Station. In 1961 he retired and died in 1970 in Berlin.

Where are the swastika flags?
When I uploaded the film with swastikas visible on the streets of Berlin of the 1930s, the You Tube admisitration banned it. And I received the YT management's email note, that the reason is the "use of hate language" by me. Today, speaking openly the painful historical truth is speaking the "language of hatred". We are supposed to forget everything, the past does not exist. Especially when it comes to the Third Reich.
Je suppose que c'est de l'humour, YT à raison de demander de ne pas faire l'apologie du symbole du crime organisé d'État, quant à la musique, avez vous remarqué la touche de musique militaire au début, çà vous indique directement l'ambiance.
@@didierdesaedeleer5368 You are not correct. In my movie I did not applaud the symbols of the criminal Third Reich. I only illustrated my film with the photos taken from the Bundesarchives, showing the streets of Berlin during the NSDAP rule. Quoting historical documents is not praising, and banning that movie You Tube became a pro-German censor who does not allow the nazi period in German history be discussed in public. Please, be reasonable in your opinions.
@@240252 Bonjour, m'a remarque ne vous était pas adressée, je m'adressais à Jaurwalis lequel demandais où ce trouvaient les drapeaux nazis ? Je suis désolé, et d'autant plus que j'apprécie toujours vos remarques. Il y a 8 ans vous aviez terminé une vidéo par un bar fermé gardé par des soldats et on pouvait voir des drapeaux nazis a la facade. Je ne sais plus le titre mais c'était vers 38 ou 39 et on chantait au sujet de la vie nocturne à Berlin. Je trouvais cette dernière illustration tout à fait à propos. Si UT pratique cette censure c'est parce que certains délirent complėtement et la haine des commentaires est parfois ignoble. Les personnes de bon sens payent pour les autres. Encore toutes mes excuses si je vous ai blessé, ce n'était pas ma volonté.

Je m'excuse également pour le malentendu entre nous et vous remercie pour votre commentaire amical. Je suis très heureux que vous vous souveniez de mes nombreuses vidéos sur le Troisième Reich et de mes interprétations, toujours très critiques envers le nazisme. You Tube, en interdisant une de mes vidéos sur le sujet, m'a mis dans une situation très difficile. Furieux de leur censure, je pouvais faire l'une des deux choses suivantes : soit me séparer immédiatement de You Tube et cesser de traiter avec eux. Ou avaler cette insulte, pour le bien de cette chaîne, de la musique de valeur et des contacts riches en contenu avec mes amis ici. J'ai choisi la deuxième option. Merci encore et bonne nuit !
