Why do you lift car to remove engine oil drain plug & old oil ? In our local MB main dealership they simply insert a long tube down the oil filler hole (after removing the dip stick), & with the help of a sturdy suction pump they commence to suck out the old oil into the pump bottle so that a measurement can take place of how much oil was removed, in my Merc' it is 6.5ltrs, that's the amount I will find in the pump bottle.
This works fine, if its OK for MB mechanics to do this, its OK with me.!

Yes, that is another quick way of doing oil change. But put in mind that not all cars will come with a traditional dipstick, some have been transitioned to electronic reading via the instrument cluster. Example: some models of the W211 the predecessor of W212. For those models you will have to drain the oil from below.

Did you over torque the lug bolts? These should be 110 fp only. Your impact wrench probably did 150

The bolts are fine. The impact gun is pre-tuned for the right amount of torque.
