I'll have to settle with my NS3 for a while, but someday I would like to upgrae to this beast. Just love the new features and the triple-sensor keybed seems really nice!

It sounds like a $7600 cdn synth should sound... that last patch is a beast, orchestra synth .. that's an amazing synth patch, epic patch.

Buy a Midi keyboard and Serum and make any sound you want.

@@theclaverman...you’re right it isn’t the same, its better...and the cheaper alternative coming from a previous Nord Stage 3 (88) owner. I sold my board for a Roland A88 MK2, RME Babyface Pro FS and a 14 MacBook Pro M2...all that is less than the Nord Stage 3 in terms of cost and you get way more.
Me too. I think having all this inside the board is great. Equally, vst's with a good controller is a great solution as well. Must say Nords are loved because they are great 💜

Hey man. Great demo-the board looks nasty. I'm curious. Can you finally search for different patches while still on the same patch with this version? Also, when will Nord up this 2GB piano memory. I honestly don't understand....It's a $5-6k keyboard. At least offer expansion, amirite?
Am -I getting it wrong or aren't the sounds available on the 3 as well except for the new effects and the wave 2?

4000+ Grand seems to be ... BUT this seems to be one of the most complete stage keyboard instrument for a pro ... so the price is relative: its a pro tool
I'm done with Nord. I've had a very good time playing on these keyboards. What the Nord does, it does it so well... But for that price, I want more features. More arps. More layering capacities.
Jack's video made me order a K2700 to replace my red keyboard... wait and see...

Compared to the computing power and storage in a desktop/laptop, these things are desktop calculators. But yeah, they sound *goooood*!
A software sythersizor no matter how complex is just a tini fraction of the entire power of a computer desktop or Laptop. It's a stupid thing to say.

Your stage 3 will dramatically go down in value on the used market so if your going to sell your 3 for the 4 then your going to loose alot of your money you lost.

Patch 45 pwm pan 1 - isn’t that a direct rip off of saw table in serum vst, with filter sounds exactly like the chain smokers and Coldplay serum synth on “something just like this”, great sound but not exactly original. For 4.5k I’d expect nord to not only have a sample editor but an advanced arp programmer. Look into some of the stuff avenger do with their vst and arp design. It’s truly inspiring.

Just go the midi route...I had a Nord Stage 3 (88) and I don't miss it....it was great though but you get way more with a good Midi Controller and a computer.

It is beatiful!that is a beautiful machine! It is beatiful too that my korg triton synthesizer ( 25 years ago) sounds as good as this for synth part ( not piano or organ part) …

So much, the wave 2 synth on board is nothing like the A1, keyboard is triple sensor, better effects and arp but yeah the rest is similar 😂
Pardon me, but frankly-All this is an uncultured parody of KURZWEIL OC3A with the lower quality as well. I had it already and be very happy to take it off…
I’m sure people are tired of hearing this but…. It’s simply not worth $5600 US. Sonically, functionally, or otherwise. No expansion in the piano section? Really? No more song list section? Really? No built in audio interface? Really? No upgraded organ sound engine or Leslie sim? Really? At $2999 maybe.

Buy soft synths and a high end laptop instead. Anyone who has this is either endorsed or got more money than sense.

I think you have missed the point not everyone wants to gig with a computer and with my experience over the years this is a quality instrument, yes expensive but fab quality sounds are what nord’s are good at
