That's wonderful. TBM buildings start by being brilliant. You've added another level with your skilled painting, and then the base takes it to the superlative. That bicycle is a work of art in its own right.

Thanks Ralph! It was a rewarding project. One thing just led to another and soon I was spending 2-3 hrs scratch building a bicycle. Maybe I got a little carried away, but in the end I had a nice useable piece of terrain. It is rewarding to have a unique piece on the table that no one else has. Thanks for watching!

Very nice work, excellently done. I love that some have the same footprint so you can use the base as a nodular piece. Thank you for sharing this with us all.

That’s outstanding Dan. Adding the wall and rear building is an awesome touch and really adds to the building. I was really impressed with the bicycle as well. Personally I think the dollhousing element more comes in when you start adding loads of furniture inside and there is less room for miniatures to move and stuff starts to get broken In order to play a game. Even then though to each is own when it comes to playing with our toys lol...I think you have hit a great balance of design/durability with your base.

Thanks Palmer! It can be a balance between making a terrain piece for gaming and taking it to the diorama level. It takes some planning to make a sturdy, interesting, and playable piece of terrain. I enjoy the challenge and am always trying to up my game and take it to the next level. Good terrain can really add to the immersion and overall gaming experience.

That's really awesome Dan, really adds to the story building of your battles. I watched a video on scenery once, saying that the building's had to make sense for your board, and I think your little French Cafe works well, either as a little village cafe somewhere, or in a bigger town.

Fantastic stuff Dan. I like the interior work and the customization you're doing to make your scenery versatile and great looking. When you said Das modeling clay all I could think of was the old package from the 70s with a creepy clown on it. lol. I think doing 'diet doll housing' is a nice approach. As long as there is enough space to fit 10 minis in a room easily, the odd bit of furniture or whatever is OK. I'm looking forward to seeing you do more with this scenery range.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
