Hey Jerra! This weather is soo weird here in zone 9 in South Carolina. We definitely will get frost later in the season because this weather still in 80’s 😫😫. My brassicas are thriving though and my borage I planted from seed inside and now outside officially have flowers. They taste so good. Like cucumber 🥳.
I'm in south Florida, never had issues with iguanas in my garden until now. Basically feels like im their restaurant now lol i know there is only ONE because it will destroy my garden for a day or two and not come back for about a month. I can never catch it in the act, even though i narrowed down around the time is gets there. I tried trap with mango it didn't work as of yet. I even have my neighbors on the lookout for it lol. Is there anything you might know to keep them away from my garden?
About cucumbers… are we able to send you some pictures to get some advice in specific issues? My cucumbers are producing oddly shaped cucs. I took some pictures but not sure how to send them to you. Thank you
You can email me some pics at info@jerrasgarden.com so I can try to diagnose. But I think I know what it is - misshapen cucumbers is mostly attributed to inconsistent environmental factors, like inconsistent water and temperature fluctuations. Try mulching and keep the soil moisture more consistent.
Can you grow this in Iowa in zone 5?
Thanks for the information.
I’m glad you liked it!

I'm so glad you tried the borage flowers! They are surprisingly delicious.

This is epic
I have had one shampoo ginger for 3 years that's never multiplied. It's in full shade, do you think I should move it to more sun?
Do you mean never bloomed? I would move it to get a little more sun and fertilize.
