    I had the worst losing day a few days. I did elect to leave early and was glad I did. I came back the next day and did much better.

    quitting early is good advice. If you ever get a chance you should make a video topic about "winners tilt" or "win tilting"

    6. Not analyzing your losing hands because of your ego. There's a good chance it wasn't a bad beat. It's probably because you didn't play it well.

      AKs all in and be called by 64s, what i need to analyse? and lose ofc 6 on the river.

      call raise in button KTs, hit 2 pairs in flop check to the raiser that bet the pot, 3bet all in with top 2 pairs and be called called by AK and A on the river, what i need to analyze?

    • @untouchable360x
      @untouchable360x 6 місяців тому

      @@pokercrusher How do you check to the raiser on the button? You shouldn't be playing a marginal hand like KT. You were dominated by AK and his hand just held up. After the flop, he could've had KK, TT, or bottom set. Right play was to fold before or after the flop. See what your ego does to you?

      @@untouchable360x he raise pot i 3bet, ignore the check, the BB was the one that check.

      @@untouchable360x lol on the button with 40bb's KTs is a easy call, miss the flop just fold, i hit top 2 pairs, could be a straight or straight draw, could be a flush draw, could be a flush on the flop, if u fold 2bb's pre flop raise with KTs on the button, u are playing the wrong game.

    I've been on a lot of weeks/months stretches of unreal beats and very few "runs."
    Question from me as a frustrated player is: if you can go weeks or MONTHS on end (your words) with this happening, how do you really make money at this game?

    had a day of outrageous bad beats. Other call stations in the micro cash games were hitting miracle hands like krazy! at the end of the day I kept asking myself, am I the fish here? The next day things were made good again and it was such a relief. Poker is way more fun when winning. I still have a lot to learn, but since binging Nathans vids and reading his cheet sheet blog etc., I've already improved a lot.

    The study of the HUD can not be underestimated.
    I would suggest to do a series on Hud Study.
    I had to go to another channel for this, but with your style of teaching, it would be a hit!

    Just 'stop playing' and having a buy/re-buy limit and plan is literally what took me to winning. Since 05 I'm down lifetime. But the last 2.5 years I haven't hit the ATM. Just play what you can afford to lose and stop. He's right. Captain Comeback is rare. When he does show up, he should leave when even or slightly ahead cuz it means you prob caught fire... your play could have been great but you also had cards/situations to work with. Just leave.
    Leave and take breaks. Don't become a grinding degenerate. Full time player cuz yer 'that good' as a pro or retired or you can monetarily support it? Knock yerself out.

    We used to play weekly in my dorm back when Hold ‘em got big in the early 2000s and by that time I had learned being “good” at poker is just not being bad. Literally just folding even when you really don’t want to but understand why you should…it got boring TBH

    I bet my poker kings aggressively pre-flop. The board comes up A74 all different suits. A player bets about 1.1 times the size of the pot. I fold. Then another calls. The turn is a 9. The river is a 2. This same player made a pot sized bet. The other player calls and wins with pocket jacks. The bluffer shows Q10. At that point I was fuming. I later get pocket queens and played aggressively pre-flop. Only one player stays in with me. The flop comes up A95. The same player that bluffed me off my pocket kings bet about 1 1/2 times the size of the pot. My thoughts are I am not going to allow this player to bully me. I raise over the top of him with a pot size bet. We get into a raising war. He shows me two pair with A9. My hand never improves and I end up losing my entire chip stack. What did I do wrong?
