    I'm starting to think people with southern accents have an unfair advantage when it comes to ovals.

    it would be great if there was a more basic video on this. us new folks especially those who have come from road courses have no clue how to setup for ovals or even what to do.
    im sat in the a class garage thinking dafuk the whole time and then people start talking about telemetry and i get even more confused.
    AND IM A ENGINEER !

    Does this stuff still apply with the build we have today with the cup car? The garage page looks different now compared to 2014...ride height rule is different, etc.

    Is there a dirt track stock car version for this? I race oval dirt track in a soon to be Johnson metric chassis car which is like a monte carlo (which I have now) but stiffer built to make the suspension do all of the work.

    How can you make Front left weight display in ATLAS like you see in 34:17?
    This sure would help me a lot, it is the only thing i can't get to work in atlas...

      These setup guides will apply to all oval cars, just some are more technical and complicated than others.

    New to setup and I am not seeing the same thing in the Chevy Gen 6 car. Will your setup work with all A cars because my ride heights are wat off. Also the fixed setup is 5000 lb spring rate which is way more than 450. Very confused.......

    HELP! I just bought my g27 today and tried configuring it and all, but when I go on oval racing only in oval i got no force feedback, and also, in track and oval this time, after I turn my wheel a certain * ( about a half turn) my wheel in game stops turning more and so I keep crashing against the barriers, how to fix all this issue?

      David Cater followed up in the iRacing forums with this: Biggest thing now is the RH's. You want them to be left side down Right side up now. Seal of the left side use the RR to give you handling in the corners.

    • @simracingtonight
      @simracingtonight  10 років тому

      This was asked as well: Sooooooo David: Does this mean that, in the garage, you will NOW actually be raising the RIGHT side on both front and rear to its HIGHEST setting for the initial setup? Please clarify your guidance for us. Thanks.
      NO but I am dropping the left side to seal it off and raising the RR just above where it drags the track depending on the track of course.
