There ist the Smyril Line-Norönna laying in the harbour. That would have been a good opportunity to take pictures of Faroese and Icelandic licence-plates.
If I could ask Ylvis any question, it would be: "So, exactly how many languages *do* you speak?"

Today I had some guy come up behind me and take photos, and it was so suspicious. I went out and asked about it, and wanted to delete. After he told me about this video, I now happily retract my deletion request. One more German plate for Alf. 😁. Stay warm.

I wonder if he really was French since he answered in (broken) English, not in French. Maybe he couldn´t hear what Alf said and just answered "No, no I don't want anything" like many people would do if some strangers just showed up outside your car. Maybe he got scared by the camera team. He let Alf take pictures of the plates at least.
Quirentia true, I hadn't thought of it like that. They were in a French registered vehicle and probably know more English then Norwegian (as the root languages are similar) and are working on the basis that the majority of Norge people speak decent English.
I do see that it might be intimidating for a film crew and three random men approaching you. Especially if you weren't familiar with the Ylvis guys.
