(Romans 11,5) "Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace." Remnant, that are true Orthodox Christians, who do not endorse any of the blasphemies as seen in this video. ORTHDOXY OR DEATH.! ☦☦☦
The Great Apostasy foretold by Apostle StPaul in Second Thessalonians. Get ready for the appearing of the Man of Sin, the Antichrist False Prophet foretold by Saints Paul, John, and Prophet Daniel!
When John X was in Sydney visit St Nicholas antiochian church, he has a big security team around him. The main guard was wearing a huge Freemason ring covered in diamonds.
Is true union of the churches even possible at this point? It seems like all attempts at union will need some compromise. False union won't cut it. I wish Christ's church never divided to begin. Now it is incredibly difficult for someone entering the faith to discern which Church is true.
St. Neketary of Optina (last Optina elder) said this, which was written down in the now out of print book of his life: "Once N. Pavlovich asked the Elder, "Is it possible to hope for the unification of the churches?" He replied, "No! Only an Ecumenical Council could do that, but there will be no more councils. There have been seven councils, like the seven sacraments and the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit. For our age, the number of fullness is the number seven. Eight is the number of the future age. Only separate people will be united to our Church." -Elder Nektary of Optina, page 182. Certainly conflicts with what figures like Fr. Peter Heers etc are saying.
I'm a Catechumen so I'm not qualified to answer this question, I would suggest taking this to your local Orthodox Priest. The Orthodox Church is against Ecumenism, in UA-cam Search "saints against ecumenism" and that'll lead you closer to the truth. May the Lord be with you.
Im a roman catholic, im just against the break of tradition en cases like for example the ordination of woman to priesthood. But i think we need to stay together bros
Part of this situation is that these Orthodox hierarchs represent merely themselves and a rather small group of "politicians" who see their chance to be near a new elite. Kyrie eleison!
That's not how the Church works. Bishops are the structure of the Church, a real bishop doesn't act merely on "their own opinion". If they are doing heretical and blasphemes things and no other bishops are standing up and calling them out, in time (it doesn't take long), that body will sever itself from the Church. Like Rome did and like world Orthodoxy has done over the last century.

@@varunsriram286 . Only the Blessed Trinity can unify Christendom. Pray, have faith, don't worry. God is in control.
Traitors
Who?!
Jesus said who is not with me is against me....
Stop looking! It's uncharitable! 🙅♂
LOL!
Where is the true Orthodox faith to be found? I am becoming a Catechumen in the GOC, leaving Catholicism b/c of ecumenism-and now I see these videos!
Hypocrites
You cannot hate your brothers and sisters. Hatred, is not from God
Hatred is from the evil one. Pray for unity and peace.
I am an inquirer of the Orthodox Church. Can someone please explain to me what's happening here? I thought Orthodox were against eccumenism

Your Pope can join with Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims if he wants, I'll pass.
Unchanging line of apostolic saints? Most of Orthodoxy has been founded on a crumbling foundation.

@Death2Compromise You're quite right on your first two points, but I'm not sure I understand what you mean about "world Orthodoxy".
