very nice to see the commitment for this lovely sport and the support you and your friends have with and each other and those willing to give tips. Keep on keeping on and you'll grow ☺
I started to play, and I'm loving it, I already have 27 years old with only 1.70mts but I will do my best to inprove like you bro! thank you for the inspiration!
Loved watching the progress throughout the year! I think you looked the BEST when you were able to jump forward instead of getting to the spot and jumping straight up! It was fun seeing how good you finished the past year!
yess i definitely need to jump forward more to carry my momentum into the swing but i’m just too scared of jumping into the net and breaking someone’s ankles 💀
@@raynsvolleyball(late comment) jumping a lot forward is pretty dangerous yeah, however if it’s just a little then it’s alright. I recommend trying it whenever you’re doing hitting lines or just when there’s no block and when you land pay attention to where your feet are. If it’s on the line or above you should jump less far. I personally have my toes getting at the line and I’ve never got on the feet of someone. One thing to keep in mind tho is to still jump in a way that the ball stays in front of you cause I know « straight jumpers » who have the ball right above them and it’s not good (but it doesn’t seem to be you case so all good). In the end it’s something that depends on what you prefer, there are hitters who jump straight up and still hit insane shots so do as you like😄. Also I love the progress you’ve made (and sorry for the very long comment)
@@raynsvolleyball yessir currently a 3rd year undergrad, haven’t done any volleyball at all tho if you were wondering hahaha - just know some people from classes
I recently stumbled upon a volleyball progression video that was nothing short of inspirational. From the first minute, it was clear that this wasn't just another sports tutorial. The video was brilliantly structured, taking the viewer on a journey from the fundamentals of volleyball to more advanced techniques, all while maintaining an engaging and accessible tone. What truly set this video apart was its attention to detail. The coach's explanations were crystal clear, making even the most complex drills seem manageable. The slow-motion replays were a game-changer, allowing me to catch every nuance of the techniques demonstrated. It's rare to find a tutorial that balances technical depth with such clarity. But it wasn't just the technical excellence that impressed me; it was the palpable passion and enthusiasm of the instructor. You can tell they genuinely care about helping others improve and share a love for the game. This passion is infectious, making me more motivated than ever to hit the court and practice. Thanks to this video, I've seen significant improvements in my skills and a newfound confidence on the volleyball court. It's a resource I've returned to multiple times, each viewing offering new insights and inspiration. For anyone looking to improve their volleyball game, regardless of their current level, I can't recommend this video enough. It's a comprehensive, engaging, and incredibly helpful guide that has not only improved my skills but also my love for the game. A big thank you to the creators for putting together such an outstanding resource!
Really glad I came across your video since I noticed we have similar hitting form, only yours is a bit more refined😅 I’ll definitely use your clips to work on mine as well. So glad to see someone else that is also a little obsessed with this sport
i spiked a lot like you when i started, u don't need to do if u dont want to but in my opinion, if u try to take off that swing forward before swinging your arms backwards, your spike speed will improve. u already spike with power, if u focus on a faster aproach and arm swing your spikes will be much better, it still feels like a slow approach but u got much much better
i completely agree with ur tip !! it feels like i’m always mistiming my hits because i swing my arms forward first will try to work on that this year :)
It took me at minimum 3 years to get semi decent. To have the dedication to stick with it everyday for 1 year and get this good is absolutely insane. Keep up the great work bro! You’re gonna be a monster.
This honestly inspires me so much because I was about to give up on trying to learn how to play. Since the only time I can in my gym class at school and I really suck at serving, passing, and receiving the only thing I can really do is set lol :D. But I'm going to keep working on my skills thanks so much for the inspiration!!!
its ok, you are still young ! i only started learning how to play volleyball in 3rd year of University at 21 , you have plenty of time to improve. I know it’s a very hard sport to get into as a beginner, but my advice is to join clubs, build connections & friends 🫡
Almost everyday ? I play volley once a week and always seem to pickup an injury (ankle sprain, sprain thumb etc) . For you , how do you play so much and prevent injuries ?
yep! i usually played 4-5 days a week last yr (2-3hrs / day) definitely need to build strength & conditioning by going to the gym - not only prevent injuries but also help you move faster & hit harder ❤
Wow! Amazing progress! Really cool to see how you analyze yourself, and still keeping the comedic comments. Loved it! Btw, did you have any gym plan/exercises, more specifically for jump?
Bro this much progress in one year is INSANE ! You're definetly talented (or have great coaches lol) You spike better than me after 4 years of volleyball xd. How tall are you if you don't mind ?
Nice progress! But great idea to use Badminton shoes for Volleyball. Gotta love seeing the Yonex SHB 65 Z. Also how did they feel while playing Volleyball?
Thanks! The SHB 65z3 were actually quite decent for volleyball, great grip & ankle support, however i felt like it lacked the cushioning & impact protection for volleyball.
I started playing in February 2023, this February marks 1 year! I’m pretty good and made the elite team my first year which I think is pretty cool lol, but this is inspiring!!

i used to be like that as well - just progressively increase the amount of times you play volleyball & your body will get used to it. However, i’d recommend 3-4 days a week max so you get recovery in between 💪
