If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing it wrong. That’s my most favorite part of any interview so far. If you want to be great at something, you have to be okay with getting it wrong so many times before getting it right, but it’s worth it for the right cause/person.

    43.
Enjoy life. Whatever you do, whoever you are. Be grateful, you are alive.
Live your life, not what others want for you. And let the others live their lifes.
Don't have hate. Let bad people go. Ignore their game.

i agree that it's best to not let other people talk us out of doing what we hoped to do in life.. other people can get cynical or negative about what we want to do and that can stop us doing what would maybe have been Great to have done in life..
so yes, if you have something good that you really want to do in life it is maybe best to not tell others about it until we have done it, so their fears or negativity does not stop us feeling excited about doing what we want to build up in our lives
good luck folks..i hope life will be good for you

@@CastleHassall I think you don't have to hide things.
Just learn not to be affected with other's opinions.

And in my case I have a dream, yeah. Related to science. I'm sure I'll get it, even it's so difficult to get finantiation for such a special project.

I'm turning 40 in 2 months and I love his advice. "If something is worth doing, it's worth doing wrong." I quit my corporate job at 36, persevered 2 years of rejection, and worked my ass off on my portfolio. Now I work as a Game Artist and I love it.

I turned 47 at the start of June and I will say 40s is where u finally get it things make sense to u not that it didn't before lol but u truly learn who u are and discover what you're made of . You're not afraid to step out for what u truly desire in life and it's not always about climbing the career ladder either

Every generation really seems to over-correct from perceived failures of the previous generation. We throw the baby out with the bath water. Every time I hear someone say "just travel! Just do what you want!" I'm shocking at how little wisdom we have bothered to carry from our parents and grandparents.
But boy do we have the complaints about not being able afford anything or retire early enough or get ahead in life.
Can't seen to add the 2+2 here.
Work hard and invest early. Let compound interest set you free later in life or you will struggle forever and have nothing to show for it. Especially when you are tired and weak and old. Take a couple nice trips. Sure. But do not live for travel and just doing whatever you want. You do need plan, grow, and be wise.

40 is the new 30 if you take care of yourself. I am 54 and feel better than I did at 44. I abused my body and mind in my 30s and 40s and gave everything to my family. Sure, we had fun along the way, but the stress level was off the chain.
There's lots that I would do differently. Losing my wife to cancer 4 years ago gave me an entirely new perspective. Life is short. Don't chase material things. Quality over quantity in all things, and truly find your faith in a higher power and put that before all other things. It will take a lot of the worries away, cause things always seem to work out okay in the end.

Here is real advice to 20 year olds, 40 years is very young still, ages between 20 and 40 is a limbo, NOTHING happens/changes, you are just a 20 year old who ages 20 extra more years on PAPER, yes you get a few more wrinkles and gray hairs (for some genetically, not even that!!), but you feel absolutely no different. 40 year olds feel like 20 years olds who pay for the consequences of lifestyle choices between 20 and 40. Time goes by super quick there, you will notice, you can remember what you head for breakfast as a 21 year old like it was yesterday, before you know it you are 40 and you are just a 20 year old with more wrinkles, gray hair and depending on your lifestyle (working/not working out, having great diet, GENES). So the real advice is to take care of yourself, workout and have good diet, avoid alcohol, you could look like attractive & feel like 20 when you are 40. Honestly, im 40 and my wife is 25, she flirted ME up (she thought i was 28 years old max and a MODEL) and im far more energetic & in shape than she is.... and promise to keep it that way.

no offence meant by this but do you have a good house and good amount of money, and she needed a good place to stay? or did she"flirt you up" when she knew nothing about you and was in a good financial place herself?

Yes travel. where are they from?
He looks so familiar....I spent some time in hoping to be able to help people. a few times I thought what am i doing here? but I did my best
and was a strange transition after. and made continuous wrong choices that ended up to be best choices.
yes its ok to fail and make mistakes then learn from. some critisize that i did things wrong...maybe so but
nothing and no one is perfect.
move fwd. be kind to people and animals. say hello to people
be open to trying new things and meeting new people.

No need to bust your humps making millions ....get interested in simple pleasures of life ...get a job that will cover your basics and won't suck the soul out of you. Take responsibility for only the most important things for you. Don't let the world dictate your worth. Your time is yours and yours alone. Be careful where you spend it. Leave bad relationships no matter what the cost.
