That video was fake, the arm catching the ball was different than the arm on the other side of the robot. It was rounded off and slashed out like a person's arm in a glove. I believe there was a person behind the robot with his with their arm slipped into a hollow sleeve attached to the robot. The robot moving fast enough to catch the ball like that is still way outside the scope of its ability. Do you notice all the other actions in the video that were way out and impossible for the robot. And then they would show the real robot and it moves slow and clunky except that they showed it in fast-forward. I don't know what's going on with Tesla, but it's possible this video was made by some third-party 'A Hole'… at least that's my opinion. Luke
The whole point of the video was to show the viewrs the new hand, and you can see when the robot lets go of the ball the hand moves more robotically compared to the hand, human hands shake, that one didint. They JUST made it, they most likely will include both hands on the robot in a few weeks or showcase it.
You see them trundling around like they belong in a retirement home in some shots then the next they are rap dancing (clearly fake). So given Musk has aligned himself with the king of exaggeration, what is the reality with these robots? I give them 2032 before this dream even comes close to being true and even then it will be watered down version due to real problems like the Telsa cars face.
