The brief highlight clips I saw on draft night told me he belongs on the Vancouver Bandits of the Canadian Elite Basketball League.
He is already a top 5 defender on the team. He moves really well on defense and is extremely athletic. That alone should get him on the floor. He will take Gabe Vincent’s spot in the rotation. His offense will come later. Watch him ball. College has sets. NBA has more free flowing offense which inflates stats. Luka averaged 10 before the NBA. Let that sink in…

Where was his work ethic at USC when he could barely see minutes on a bad team and looked like he didn't belong on the floor when he was playing teams like Arizona? Bronny took somebody else's job. Plain and simple. Anybody who understands basketball knows that Kevin McCullar, Trey Alexander, PJ Hall, N'Faly Dante, and Reece Beekman, to name only a few notables, are much better players than Bronny is. This is a publicity stunt that was years in the making. It was a betting prop when Bronny was still in HS, and the "yes" (father and son play together) side was a slight favorite.

If Bronny stayed in college, improved his game, and became a legitimate 1st round prospect sought after by multiple teams, then he would pretty much assure himself a roster spot with more leeway by an organization to improve. Him rushing his way into the league going in the 2nd round, it will be harder for him to move up the ladder unless he goes crazy in the g league. The talent is there but he was just a freshman coming off of a major medical scare. Why not have patience?
