if yuta's brain is in gojo's body, where is gojo's brain? Probably in Yuta's body. Furthermore, if the repercussions of using kenjaku's technique is positive (like we've seen with sukuna's binding vow's sacrifices being positive or non-sacrificial), Yuta may stay in Gojo's body. Pre-3min-timer Gojo may awaked within his body, two spirits in one body but Gojo isn't imprisoned by Yuta & helps. After the timer, Yuta stays in Gojo's body and Gojo awakens in Yuta's body. Gojo uses RCT to heal Yuta's body. He enters the fight in Yuta's body, no six eyes. With uiui, we all know that eventually they can swap back but for now they fight without their bodies. Sukuna provides 50 more chapters of fights because he is a tank always refreshing stats. The good guys got him at yuta-level CT but everything else he seems to refresh & tank moves. Merger never happens. Everyone is saved option happens. The end. Heian period backstory.

Honestly the theory of Gojo coming back in Yuta’s body would be dope af and it would help contrast Yuta in Gojo’s body not winning against Sukuna to show that it wasn’t the limitless that made Gojo strong, but that he was strong cuz he was Gojo and he had that ingenuity.

@delta2370 The problem is that the 6 eyes user likely wasn't fighting Mahoraga alone, it would have been a 3 way fight so it's not going to be easy to figure it out until it's too late.
Medical fact : the heart CAN beat without the brain. It has its own internal pacemaker (the sinusal node) which a group of specialized myacardial cells that automatically produce small electrical changes that basically signal the heart muscle to contract. That « pacemaker » on it’s own can beat, but cannot adapt to physiological changes like responding to an effort, vagal stimulation ,… You need the brain to modulate that heart beat so the heart pumps at whatever output you need at any time.
That is why brain dead patients don’t die immediately if you keep giving them oxygen, glucose and perfusions ; the heart will keep beating automatically, even if the brain (especially the brain stem) is gone.
So to me, as long as Yuta’s soul is still out there, while his heart is beating (maybe thanks to Rika’s CE) and his brain is still healthy enough to operate while he gets his soul back, technically he’s still alive.

I feel like if yuta is about to die due to copy running out, rika might re-create the binding vow yuta mada with her to give up her life (again) to allow her to stay fully manifested so copy can keep going. Thats assuming she can even make binding vows, but mabe she could do this one because yuta has already made a relatively similar one with her.

Notice how he says the bodies memories are retained. It’s possible the body stores these memories, but doesn’t necessarily give Kenjaku access to them immediately. I’d say Kenny just knows how to access this from how long he’s been using the technique but Yuta doesn’t know quite how to do that yet. This is supported by the fact that Yuta swapped souls with Gojo before the Sukuna raid to not only train his barrier techniques and cursed energy output, but also to learn how to use the six eyes and limitless in case he didn’t just get Gojo.exe booted into his brain.

@@bobdylan1968 why do you assume Yuta would automatically get access to Gojo’s memories? Memories are typically stored in the brain, and Gojo’s brain isn’t in his body, Yuta’s is. That tells me that wherever the “body retains memories” that Kenjaku is talking about isn’t some literal biological thing, it’s probably more of a result of Kenjaku’s technique interacting with the body/soul. It makes since that sorcerer’s reincarnated into other people’s bodies automatically get their memories because they are literally sharing a brain, but Kenjaku is NOT a reincarnated sorcerer, he’s a body snatcher who removes his hosts brain. So it’s reasonable that however he accesses the bodies memories isn’t automatic.

I find that final panel of Rika cradling Yuta’s lifeless body so haunting, and it has me wondering about the theme of love in JJK and where it might go from here. Everyone who has tried to show/teach Sukuna something about love has died in the process, with Yuta’s failure being perhaps the most heartbreaking. He dies inside of his domain, which, of course, is named True Mutual Love. I’m reading this moment as not only the death of Yuta’s body but also the death of love in JJK. Especially when you consider what he does after: copying Kenjaku’s CT. When I think about Kenjaku as a character I see him as someone who rejects and exploits love more than even Sukuna - husbands, children, best friends become tools for kenjaku in his CE experiments. So I want to know how you think this theme winds up developing from here. Will Sukuna ever learn about love? Will Yuji be the one to show him? Will Yuta rediscover love (or is he now just a womanizer like Geto said so many chapters ago)? Love, after all, is the worst curse there is in JJK and I’d love to know how you think this plays out

I heard the idea that the memory stuff isnt actually related to kenny's technique, but is instead a result of the body soul relation, like kenny acting a bit more like geto. Which would mean the memories actually take time to kick in.
Lot of people have the same idea, but I for one think that this doesn't work in Yuta's favour. The sudden surge of memories might mentally overwhelm him for a moment, similar to Unlimited Void

Now that we know that Rika is fully manifested, Yuta should be able to use his other copied curse techniques right? Limitless technically isn’t one of his “copied” techniques, it’s the technique engraved on the body he is in. He should still technically have “copy” as his brain-engraved technique since he’s using it to facilitate body swap technique. Unless Kenjaku technique IS a constant use type technique in which case Yuta is screwed after 5 minutes.

There is nothing about the memory thing that even hints at a plothole. Even assuming he has all of Gojo's memories, he would not have had the time to do a thorough review given he literally just came off the slab and is trying to get things done before the 5 minute question mark window runs out.
We don't even know how the memories are transferred or at what speed, nor do we know how he accesses them. Kenjaku had Gojo's body for a whole year and change before he confronted Gojo in Shibuya. Does he have to specifically try to recall moments or are they just all on a table for him to see? Hard to believe it is the latter as if it was that would be an even heavier burden for Yuta in terms of processing when he needs to focus on the fight with Sukuna.
How Kenjaku's technique works is key to Yuta's survival (or death), so it will undoubtedly be explained.
Well good thing yuta should easily be able to process all gojo’s memories since the six eyes allow for extremely fast processing speeds😂

The cliffhanger ending with Yuta's eyes calls out to me a little, and I know next to nothing about jjk really and idk if this is even possible, but what if by some miracle, Gojo's mind ends up in Yuta's body by a strange flaw or coincidence within the body swap technique, or Gojo made some binding vow behind Yuta's back after he asked to use his body post-mortem, that if Yuta has Gojo's body, Gojo gets to have Yuta's body. And I feel it meets the unwritten requirements (not mentioning sukuna) that a binding vow needs, a debuff for a buff. Gojo loses limitless and six eyes, but he gets to live and gets the copy technique along with Rikka?

You're the main way I stay up to date on the Manga. Kinda like how I watch Grand line review to keep up on one piece manga. I tend to agree with your takes on things, you're specific where possible, know your stuff, and admit when you don't or were wrong. Plus you have a good speaking voice, so you're a great UA-camr. Ironically this fight starting with Yuta getting his ass kicked is probably the best thing a Yuta fan could ask for. If he started off competitive or even winning the fight, he'd almost certainly lose like everyone who seemed to have the upper hand on Sukuna before. I think it's still possible things go very poorly for Yuta in the end, but I also think there's a decent chance he has some sort of character arc play out that results in a better ending for him (even if that ending is still death).

I think Sukuna can only use Amplification and Domain Expansion because of the Open Domain. The slashes come from the Shrine in the centre of the domain. Kenjaku's Open Domain also had a centre pillar that was dismantled by Tengen. This centre piece IS the barrier of the domain and contains the technique.

i watch you instead of reading the leaks, I will admit the really spicy ones like 261 or go/jo I cheated and read them but you have a good fast editing style and rarely make others feel bad for having a wrong theory.
I do think it could be possible for gojo to somehow take back control over his body ( maybe before yuta is about to die ) such as geto did back in shibuya right before kenjaku was about to seal gojo, maybe he could come back like this which would also make the way for yuta to get back to his body

I have this idea of binding vows being made within the cursed realm. And the cursed realm being the expression of chaos caused by the collective unconscious of every living being, the repercussions could be unpredictable because it was made using an order(vow) to tame chaos, which could explode in unpredictable ways.
Maybe Yuta doesnt have gojo's memories because the soul/person that you're swapping with might have to be dead before you can get their memories. Stating that gojo's brain is still active in some way.
Some people think Uraume is Sukuna's Hiten but I dunno I think she's a plasma star vessel since they called her The Frozen Star.
I'm glad you mentioned Yuta didn't have time to process everything about Gojo's body and memories. People keep clowning Yuta for not immediately being great in Gojo's body.

The surprise could also be because he didn't expect Sukuna to be able to use both his domain and his domain amplification at the same time in his condition. Using both at the same time is already an impressive feat but Sukuna is now doing it while heavily damaged with lower CE and after just recovering his domain and just cominh off of casting a domain
A weird potential thing that can be important that caught my attention in the short chapter is Yuta said he said switch training with Gojo and I thought “what did Gojo learn in Yutas body?” Since Yuta improved his barrier techniques. Also I think two minutes already past since Yuta said he’s going to try and do as much damage as possible within three minutes or that leaves less than 2 minutes to hop back into his own body
Imagine kenjaku taking over yuta somehow coz geto wanted rika back in jjk zero, so if kenjaku somehow accomplish that then geto's aim might be fulfilled.

I remember reading the jjk character guide and looking through the q/a with gege and the question was during the incident when sukuna tore out yuji's heart and fought megumi. When yuji died, was sukuna not affected by that and gege replied if too much time passed, then he would've died with yuji if he didn't use RCT and resurrect him.
I assume there's a certain time window to use RCT to resurrect and heal someone before they 100% pass away. Hence why Gojo isn't coming back. Too much time passed. It could potentially be the same situation with Yutas body and it could reject his soul because he's been gone for too long. Its a guess.
Was Kusakabe asking everyone how long Gojo’s domain was up when they clashed because this was Gege’s plan all along. They knew Yuta only had 5 minutes and they need to know how long exactly his domain would last within those 5 minutes.

1:05 I think that he already knew Sukuna could do this, but I think Yuta was just genuinely surprised that Sukuna still had that much Cursed Energy reserves and physical wellness to be capable of using DA (Domain Amplification) and DE (Domain Expansion) at the same time.
Do you think Yuji (or any black flash user) could cause Maki to do a black flash, similarly to how Nanami performs black flashes with a cursed technique instead of a punch? Essentially using Maki’s arm as a weapon to do devastating damage? Almost like what Hisoka, Gon and Killua did in Hunter x Hunter during the dodgeball match but offensively. How devastating would the damage be if this was the case?

If that was the case, if that was the explanation to Yuta's not remembering Gojo vs Sukuna fight then Gege could've write that in the panel instead of "not even Mei Mei's crow could see what was going on in there". Also, even if he didn't have time to go through all Gojo's memories, Sukuna using DA to pass through Gojo's infinity isn't a small detail, in fact, it's something extremely crucial for his fight, how can Sukuna bypass Gojo's main defensive technique, so even if he didn't have time to go through all of his memories, it's still odd how he could just ignore such a crucial fact in the fight, I think it's either a plothole or something extremely convenient for the plot, which isn't something rare these last chapters

Love the vids. Two things:
1. This could just be me tripping but from looking at Yuta's corpse the "stitch line" isn't right. It's diagonal and it's going towards the top of his head rather than to the side like with Kenjaku. I think this could support my theory that Kenjaku's body swap isn't done through a literal physical brain transplant but rather he goes from one body to the other purely through CE. Or it could mean something else. What do you think?Am I reading too much into that?
2. So we know that Yuta swapped with Gojo and that's how he learned to better his barrier techniques. But there's a hole there. How did Yuta learn to single out the target of his Domain when that is something that Gojo specifically cannot do?Did Gojo himself train his own Domain and then swap with Yuta to teach him?

Assuming he only gets a brief moment to take over his body do you think Gojo could use a second domain expansion inside infinite void or maybe something else if yuta recasts his domain? iirc Domain Expansion is expanding the innate domain of the soul, or maybe a second infinite void since we dont actually know for sure if yutas is the same as gojos

I actually think that the reason Rika is holding yutas body, is because Rika would be bound to that body through the binding vow made in Jjk 0, and kenjaku explained that binding vows are made null and void when body swapping
Don’t forget that Yuta ate Sukuna's finger. It can activate inside Yutas actual body to kill Rika and run back to Sukuna to reunite him as perfect Sukuna... In this case both Yuta Gojo and Yuta will die.
I can’t be the only one thinking that what if Kenjaku isn’t a brain that implants himself into others but simply, Kenjaku uses his technique to take over the body, keeping the real brain and just imprinting his mouth upon it for whatever reason? Meaning Geto’s brain was still in his body and that could mean Gojo’s brain could still be in his body, same with Yuta. Which might be why they stitched it up and have the contingency that he may come back to it once the 5 mins are up. And just as we saw with Geto moving his arm against Kenjaku’s control, we may possibly see Gojo reverberate with Yuta, being allies the control would be much easier so Gojo could theoretically come back via this method and then Yuta goes back to his body and the gauntlet continues…
Just a thought because we haven’t actually seen the application of how Kenjaku’s technique works and we still didn’t even when Yuta used it so for all we know, the brains of the bodies could still be in their original bodies.
Does Yuta using Unlimited Void could confirm that the Domain Expansion Kenjaku used during his fight with Tsukumo and Choso was Geto's? Because the DE looks more like Geto's CT.
Maybe this is because we didn't really understand what Mahito said there.

Fun idea if kenjaku somehow is still alive and sneaks into yutas empty shell of a body he would really have done everything geto wanted to do before dying himself or at least have put everything in motion.

I wana throw out there that Yuta will lose to Sukuna in Gojo body but will only excel when the body swap is up. I’m willing to bet that Reka soul will go from external to internal hard drive for Yuta. Becoming the brain the he lost and with a binding vow bind his soul to her new form (his brain) or his body and that way they are together forever. I heard a theory that Gojo will stop Yuta from giving up everything and becoming a real monster so I think the way he surpasses Gojo is going back to his body and hopefully having all the techniques still. No longer with a 5 min limit. I think thematically it goes into surpassing being a human like Sakuna but also not giving up on loved ones and becoming a monster. What do you think about that

In defence of Gege, i believe yuta was refering of the fact that he probably didn’t know that sukuna could use amplification and the domain After all the fighting and brain damage… like that is suppose to be almost impossibile on a regular base and sukuna is just doing it with all that damage, binding vows and brain frying
Maybe they're keeping Gojo's brain fresh inside Yuta's body, it wasn't explicitly shown how the transfer works, an instanaeous switch between two brains replacing each others bodies or the condition being, an empty skull and then the switch. But either way, there's a possibility Gojo's brain is in Yuta's body, or Gojo's brain is outside. So when the 5 minutes are up the brain switch may happen like the former or the latter. I'm placing my bets on the former, because it doesn't seem like Kenjaku's technique needs external help for the switch, now you may be thinking "Kenjaku can cut the skull open himself", but how would that work if his brain is outside his current body? So I can rule out a manual transfer, isn't how the technique works.
Maybe they're gambling to see if Gojo's brain could still be active before the 5 minutes are up.

I feel yuta not having gojo’s memories and kenjaku having geto’s memories might be because a part of kenjaku l’s binding vows also implies that you get their full memories or maybe just it takes a little bit of time
They might use UiUi's CT to swap Yuta back. Or he manifested a sword with UiUi's technique to make the swap with his own copy techique.
When Kenjaku refers to the body’s memories here, I think he means literally. Like when Geto attacked Kenjaku that was the body’s memory for fighting curses. Not memory in the brainy traditional sense.
Sukuna's tool is a "Vajra" its akin to Zeus's lightning bolt. It is a mythological lightning caster.

Thats what I think, I think Rika might use most or all of her fully manifested cursed energy to revive who she thinks is yuta, since her bond is to the ring which is in yutas body, likely with gojos brain. Since humans are only able to use a fraction of RCT on others revival isn't possible, but Rika is a cursed spirit with a direct link to the body so its no prob at all to use 100%. And then we'll finally know if hes satarou gojo because he's the strongest, or if he's the strongest because he's satarou gojo.

What would be the point of yuta in gojos body if they were both alive enough to swap? They could just heal up and remain in their own bodies with no risk

Crazy theory. What if Ui Ui can use his technique to swap the souls of people on the verge of dying. IE. Right when Gojo was cut by the WCS, what if Ui Ui swap his soul right before his soul passed on. What if he is able to swap their souls with fresh dead people like kashimo so they end up in a new body and not about to die. Just a thought.
The same goes for Sukuna that there's no time for him to take memories from Yujis brain so when he said: "Where is the kids and women?". Yuji knows where is people located for sure, hospitals,cafe arcades and so on. So it 's just proves it.
just correcting people who dont know, the "Supreme Martial solution" was a translation error, its called "Kamutoke" a Vajra ritual knive meant to symbolize the perfection of a diamond, and the power unlike any before it, mainly, lighting as it happens, but the "Hiten" is pronounced "He-ten" meaning "Flying heaven" mainly in relation to the bodhisattvas who fly on clouds around the Buddha, we are unsure of what it does still(the bodhisattvas are those who an achieved nirvana/enlightenment but stay in the living world in order to save suffering souls, maybe plot/sukuna lore?)
Theory: Gege didn’t make a mistake - Yuta doesn’t have the memories of Gojo because KENJAKU has the memories (and he’s not dead, he is a SOUL channeled through cursed technique itself). Yuta will lose his ability to use the CT after 5 mins, thereby giving Kenny full control of Yuta’s blank brain and Gojo’s dead body.
Kenjaku isn’t the “brain” as many believe, which is why the CT is still unnamed and has never been fully explained (the characters/fans have just assumed brain swap is the gist). It’s why he doesn’t need assistance changing bodies as we’ve seen Yuta did. Kenjaku has been sorely underestimated and will be back as the final villain - I promise.

Felt like the final panel was forshadowing Yuta's death. Or was his death and it skipped forward to the end of the 5 minutes, the next chapter will then go back in time to the fight
Do you think we'll get more info on Yuta's lineage and technique, maybe having to do with the ending of this chapter? Them bringing it up in the previous chapter was pretty random, I feel like why bring it up when we don't know much about either lineage really. I'm just wondering what the purpose of bringing it up is if we aren't shown or told anything in regards to it.
Do you think the finger Rika ate has anything to do with this chapters editors note? Like as much as this is a Gojo vs Sukuna rematch, it's also a Yuta vs Sukuna rematch, and it's after Sukuna figured out Rika ate a finger, and since he's copying Kenny's technique Sukuna knows she's currently manifested, will that play into something or nah
Also I don't know if you've talked about this already but could there have been more soul swaps than we were lead to believe via Yuta copying UiUi's technique? Any possibility or even benefit you think in regards to that?
And lastly the culling games are still happening, no? Is there any rule you think can be added to help either side?

The translations are incorrect for that panel of Sukuna explaining to Gojo what he did in the domain. In Japanese, he didn't say "while unable" but "while not using", it's in the negative form not negative potential form, the kanji used also means "interval". So he should definitely know. The problem with these English translations is that they lose a lot of information from the original Japanese text, and sometimes done deliberately to simplify it for the readers but that doesn't help with discussions. Actually you can use DA and CT at the same time, Sukuna and Higuruma demonstrated that, however you just have to be precise as to not cancel the CT or just not use full DA.
(normal) Human brain starts suffering permanent damage after 6 minutes without oxygenated blood. Yuta's technique lasts 5 min. Shoko says she creates blood with her RCT... Could Shoko have kept Gojo's brain alive in hopes that after Yuta has used Gojo's body and healed it, the brain could be transferred back?
Heck, Shoko might’ve shoved Gojo's brain into Yuta's body to keep it alive while she heals Yuta. All in hopes of keeping Gojo alive. It is such a small chance, I doubt Shoko would mention it to anyone.
