My top bands to see this DL 24 and which I will not miss are: Limp Bizkit, Code Orange, Pantera, Machine Head, A7X, Fear Factory, Royal Blood, Allien Weaponry, Slaughter to prevail, Offspring.
Great content as always brother! For me Alien Weaponry, Royal Republic, Bleed From Within, Silverstein & While She Sleeps. Plus Busted in the tent is going to be so much! 😋
Lineup is quite varied this year which is probably good for the health of the festival.
I’m really looking forward to Black Dahlia Murder, Brand of Sacrifice, Shadow of Intent, Make Them Suffer and Fear Factory most of all.
I'm really hyped for Billy Talent, they're my fave band of all time. Also on the undercard, Crystal Lake, ERRA and Make them suffer

If i had to pick 5 bands I'm most looking forward to it would be QOTSA, Limp Bizkit, Electric Callboy, Pantera and Fesr Factory.

Life is but a dream album is a weird album, but probably one of their best in terms of writing and different variety of music. I first didn't like it and thought I wasn't gonna like it, but now I really love the album, especially songs like Cosmic, Nobody, and Mattel
Yeah it really grew on me, probably the album of theirs I listen to the most.
Bleed From Within are serious contenders for second stage headliners in the not so distant future, awesome technical riffs and ridiculous drumming and they know how to translate their power into a live setting as well. Would also recommend Defects who are opening up the Dogtooth stage on the friday, their debut album released today and its got some bangers
100% on Bleed from Within, brilliant live, one of the best bands around, Shrine is an epic album. Cannot wait for their set, how they don't get bigger billing is beyond me. Have to be up there in next Yr or 2
@@fayelouc5197 Yeah I thought the same when the stage splits were released they could definitely do a job either headlining a stage or being lower down on the main one. I got a ticket for the upcoming slipknot tour mainly to see bleed from within hahaha
A bit of a weird lineup but I am really looking forward to Fear Factory, slaughter to prevail, pantera and a few bands on the undercard. I saw QOTSA last year and they were brilliant.
Thanks for the video Simon 👍🏻 I’m not sure weather to kick off my festival by seeing suffocation on the Tuesday in Brighton or to head to Portsmouth that day and meet my friends and drive up to reading for the evening. I would be able to sort some things out like food and drink a bit easier and make early entry, but suffocation would be amazing to kick it off

Cant wait for Asinhell, Michael from Volbeats death metal side project. They have 1 album and its an absolute banger. Kerry King and Bleed from within will be good too 🤘
Yeah I listened to Asinhell and really enjoyed them, not a fan of Volbeat at all.

I'm looking forward to Creeper, FOB, AX7, Bowling For Soup, Sum41, Frank Carter, Wheatus and Billy Talent! I'd highly recommend you go see Creeper unless they clash with someone else. Their latest album, Sanguivore, is amazing and reminds me so much of Meatloaf and Jim Steinman.
I loved the new Creeper album! Will definitely go and check them out if I have time.
Fit for a king, imminence (will be my 4th time but I’m obsessed) while she sleeps, atreyu, day seeker holding absence and avenged I’m chuffed about - never had chance!
Gutted about the clash between Sum 41 (their last ever UK festival) and my favourite band Electric Callboy. Rooough.
I could have sworn limp bizkit were main stage in 2009. Electric callboy should be banging again this year and frank carter is worth a watch.
Hi simon dont know if your aware but if u look at the residents map they closing Melbourne road witch basically mean west carpark will b 4 only qiet camping and rip most confusing
I saw Code Orange when they where touring off "Forever" and they where amazing man, definitely won't be disappointed

Big one for me is Frank carter and the rattlesnakes on the Saturday. I’ve seen them about 7 times live. Never gets old

Queens Of the Stone Age are one of the best live bands in the world. Absolutely outstanding - seen them several times. You’ve gotta see em 👌🏻

Fear Factory and Pantera clash though don't they? I will be picking Fear Factory if that's the case but I really wanted to see Pantera.
Yeah not sure how it’s gonna go yet until they release set times, I would have thought you will get to see most of Pantera before FF start as they will be playing the same time as fall out boy.

Why isn’t no one talking about Royal Republic enough!! Saw them at download 2019 because I walked past as they were playing main stage and not joking they’ve been my favourite band ever since legit unbelievably talented, great live and a good laugh. Could not recommend more! Them, Babymetal, Electric Callboy, Limp Bizkit and Black Stone Cherry my top 5 picks over the weekend.
I’m curious to know which bands you think don’t belong at download?
I just think they have a gone a step too far with a few and the sheer volume of Alt pop on the lineup is crazy.

Hahahaha, I agree but apparently it’s what the young people are digging and really they are the most important demographic, so I see why they have booked so many.

There are loads to be fair! Just at first glance, there are 3/4 bands with women in them just on the dogtooth stage on Saturday.
