09 was my first year. Faith no More, Slipknot, Korn, Zz top. Saw so many amazing bands at 13 years old forever changed my life.
Still the best year in my opinion, insane line up!

2023 heat was NO JOKE.. So much so me and the lads have invested in a gazebo.
This was great! I was at Ozzfest and Download 04 and 05, so great to feel the nostalgia.
Regarding youngest band, I remember seeing a band called Acidtone who I swear were like 13? They were awesome 🤘🏻

My friend twisted her ankle while we were there in 2004. While she was in the medical tent getting bandaged up, Dimebag came in supposedly looking for medicinal alcohol. He signed her bandage while he was there.

06 was my first Download. Still have no idea what the riots were about.
Was a mix of loads of stuff, some people say because GNR were crap and took their time, others say it's because they put water up and there weren't enough water points, I think it was just a mad weekend that people didn't want to end and with the heat and no sleep just went a little crazy.

MOR ran until 96, not 95. And Wicked Wisdom played 2 sets in 06, main stage on the Friday and second stage on the Saturday (hardly anyone was there)
Yeah really I should have said 94 as after that it wasn’t really MOR anymore.
Technically 96 was known as Donington

I went to download in 2023 and I almost passed out it was so hot!
