28 games left he's roughly going to play in about 15 more games that's 60 at bats that's about one and every five and a half at bats that's pretty hard he will have to play more
Alber Pujols career home run No. 695 on Sunday, brings him to within five of joining the 700 home run club that currently includes only Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron, and Babe Ruth. He is also just one home run behind Alex Rodriguez (696) for fourth on the all-time list. Pujols only played 39 games in 2020 due to being the COVID SEASON. He only had 152 at bats. (6 Hrs). In 2021 with the Angels and Dodgers combined, he only had 275 at bats and hit 17 homeruns.

@@jsaali lol. You sure you couldn’t have used 1x or 0.5x and achieved the same result? 😁 My rule is, unless you are following your wife/gf and filming her as she walks around in a bikini, always use horizontal video. 😎
The script is written. Last regular season game is September 30th against the Pirates at Busch. So it's at least possible my wish of 700 being a walkoff in his final AB at Busch could become reality.
this is a great fan video. I took my wife, my son, my daughter in law and a few others. We were sitting 2 sections over from the left foul pole. WOW did that place erupt when Pujols came out of the dugout for his PH. Then when he hit it out the whole place was shaking. AWESOME game. It was the first for my granddaughter. WHAT A MEMORY
I used to promote him being played more but if you think about it, this way is working! If they play him against righties and he struggles it might have a negative impact on his performance against lefties. Let’s just all hope he gets to 700 with plenty of games to spare. No matter what though, I pray he at least gets to 697.
Tough one. I happen to like more money also. And the whole DH may have saved the wear and tear. But my guess is even would have even more HRs. Even though Busch Stadium is considered pitcher friendly.
@@jsaali perhaps. Cards offered 10/210M compared to 10/240M from Angels. With California taxes and cost of living, I’m not sure how much he gained. I agree with your DH perspective. Probably saved him some years.

you did a great job with your camera angle and following the play. We were right under Big Mac Land. Didnt even need our raincoats on for the hour and a half delay. It was tough for my granddaughter sitting for 5 .5 hours but she was up and cheering big time when P hit it out.
Who thinks Albert can reach 700 within the remaining 28 games. Roughly one homer per 5 1/2 games.
One per 5 games sounds tough, especially when he doesn’t play every day. But I BELIEVE!

Plus he's not going to face that many more left-handed pitchers most of the pitchers are right handers the rest of the season. But I think he will
Have to say I don't think Albert will not play in all 28 games probably roughly around 15
Tough to do in 28 games.
How for into October will they go.
Maybe 700 and a ring….
Would be WILD if Albert's Final Home run is 700!
I have seats in left field for the last 3 home games! 🙏

Great stats there! I guess I didn’t realize how much COVID affected his stats(and all players). I guarantee he will hit at least 2 more!

Good video. It brings me incredible joy to see a human who still videos horizontally.
Thanks for the love!!!
Although my next upload is vertical so that I can have The Arch in the picture.

Go Albert 🤩🤩 Go Redbirds been a fun season
More fun coming our way!

The last regular season home game is Sunday, October 2 Vs Pittsburgh Pirates. Then the Cardinals go to Pittsburgh for 3.

Thanks for commenting! I’m considering putting a video together with as views as possible! BEST FANS IN BASEBALL!!!
I’m going 702 final number after game 162.
That would be amazing. I hope you’re right. But I’d like to catch 700!
Can’t wait to see 700!!!
I hope it’s in St. Louis! But yes, #700 anywhere will be amazing!
If he's within two or three the last couple of series of the season I think he starts playing every day to try to get it.
I agree 100%!

The greatest
Absolutely!!!
Awesome. I bet he wishes he had re-signed with RedBirds in 2011.

There was no designated hitter in the NL until this year. His career would be over 5 years ago had he stayed.
The goat
🐐
I was at this game lol

UA-cam,
Thanks for omitting the translation tool on this comment. 🙄👎🏻

Yes, I was proud of myself for staying! I think I sat through drizzle for 3-4 innings. But Albert made it all worth it!
And thanks for the nice compliment!
His 59th career home run against the Chicago Cubs 😲
🤗He has crazy stats! Why won’t he do one more year and get The Babe!?!
I love Yadi was waiting at the top of the stairs to hug him.
I know! I think he does a bow and then the biggest hug!
How old is Albert really
🤔
I think he's like 49 or so.
48-52 that’s why it’s amazing 😂😂😂😂😂
He says he's 42 so I'll believe him
75
WONDERFUL FOOTAGE
