I started a painting today with wrap. Did the sky and landscape with it. Really like the effects of it. Now painting other items on and hand applying the wrap. It's pretty cool.
Several decades back a paint that was thinned with mineral spirits was made for custom painting cars. A panel was masked out, sprayed with this paint ovr a background color, celophane smashed roughly on and then pulled off. After drying, the paint was coated with clear. It looked nice on custom painted cars, etc.
Love texture!,,

hello Amy
merci pour vos vidéos, et vos astuces créatifs, ca m'aide beaucoup. Merci
Youre amazing, what would happen if you flicked the alcohol on after u pulled the cellophane off to try for cells too? Would it be too much?
Wow! This is so amazing and easy. Yes we want more ideas. You are so talented, I want to thank you for your encouragement. Hugs.
Ellie Mercer Thank you! I always love your kind and supportive comments.
Amy Pearce I am truly enjoying your great fun ideas
i, love the nice art
This is a slick trick. I'm getting ready to plunge into the realm of texturing (acrylic), and this is an interesting (and quick) alternative. So much room for variation of techniques and styles. Great work.
I was just about to give up acrylics when I came upon this. Just love it! I'm used to oils and the few times I've tried acrylics it just doesn't blend, especially on canvas. This, I might try. What medium is the red paint? Okay, I will read the comments for the answer.
loved it thanks for sharing
I just love your creativity & the heart you have to share it! I have pinned it on Pinterest too!

Simply Amazing!!! :) please suggest where can I find affordable primed Canvas. Thanks
Wall paint isnt working. It pulls off and just melds back together without the wrinkles. What do I do now for my blue on white room wall. Do I add oil
I'll bet you could also use recycled plastic grocery bags after splitting them open. Love this idea. Thanks so much!

Any tha's beautiful you go a talent I do a lot of 3dimensional work but your work is very nice I like that idea for a back gorud God bless u and your fam. from a DAVetran
WOw nice one
hi amy, i cannot seem to get this right. i have tried with and without water on the base, and with water the paint is too thin to give the "elephant skin" pattern, and when it is thicker, i don´t get the blending of the top colours, but patches of colour on top of the base colour. yours is great but i´m not getting the same result.
awesome
Hi Amy. I'm curious, what is on the canvas already? It seems you start off with the same maroon canvas that already has some texture to it. I just started watching your videos. I'm so glad I came across them!!
Hi..would you list the colors you used please?
excelente
liked - thumb up!! wondering how does it look after it dries
Cool! I just found your channel and want to try it! Have you done this with bubble wrap? Curious to see how that would work also!
Awsome you are the best girl
superb
THANK YOU
would this work over a tissue paper texture amy?
That’s funny you said elephant skin because I see the elephant front face with the trunk right in the middle! I love using saran wrap for texture like this. Its the best!
I have been watching the videos that you have posted and I just have to say they are amazing, I cant wait to try it.
Wow!!!! That is so amazing!!!
I'm going to be moving soon so this is a inexpensive way to fill up those empty walls with some cool art Thanks
Iliana Mercado I absolutely LOATHE moving. I do love having a new space to decorate, though. I've also seen this technique used to add a nice texture right on the walls. It gives it a bit of a faux leather look. I hope you have fun adding art and personality to your new home!
Will this technique work on glass?
hey, I've done a style much like this many times but instead of the water i use PVA glue and watered down inks with cling wrap, leave it to dry. It makes a great textured piece of art. i shall try to send a pic to you over facebook.
Can you do this on walls too? And with polishes?
Which type of metrail u used in based canvas??
can we apply water in white surface as well?
This is the same technique used in spray paint art. I've done it a million times, with newspaper and magazine paper. Beautiful piece!
Mrs. Dawn U.B. That sounds really great. I'd love to see an example if you have a picture. Thanks for watching!
Muy buenos videos .... 😊😊😊
Hi. can we use this on fabric?
Wall paint needs to be very cold to get this effect I think it has to be thicker to not slide with suliphane....the whole point....acrylic is thicker so it wont pull out the wrinkles....maybe I needthicker seran
Epic omg
Efecto clásico se utiliza en decoración de paredes yo lo conozco como efecto " embolsado "...
Awesome thanks
N
can I do this with poster color?
Can we do this with oil paints?
can i give same texure on plastic container as surface
Could you use plastic grocery bags, too?
🙏🙏🙏
nice
