I would like to, and plan on responding, “Based on the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, I’m not required to participate in an investigation against myself, and therefore will not be answering any of your questions.” Whether I have been drinking or not. What are your thoughts on this response?
If the cop asks where I’m coming from, that seems intrusive and I wouldn’t want to answer, even if I’m coming from church or something seemingly innocent like that.

Another excellent video. Thank you. Please consider addressing the situation where someone agrees to take a roadside test but is physically incapable of blowing hard enough to activate the device. Also, are coordination and balance tests used at the roadside to help determine sobriety ? If so, are people over a certain age exempt ?
Does the officer have a sniffing device? I simply said, “respectfully, officer, I don’t answer questions” and he immediately said “that’s fine. Have a nice evening” and that was it. It was super quick and there were two of them at my window. This was 2022.

That is the only question I need to answer.....PERIOD
