I think we all did. In retrospect it seems silly to entertain the idea that that could actually work, but in the moment you cling to that hope that just maybe.... but nope
I'm travelling back in time 4 years to tell you that in the future youtube will fix the portrait video problem and it will be seen in almost full screen :)
The moment Stannis Baratheon did that blood spell, Robb was done for. Robb's days are numbered, one way or another, even if he survived the red wedding, he'll just die another way...So were Joffrey and Balon, their fates are sealed by the spell
Her reaction is excellent. The dude looks bored to death though... My only guess is he's seen it before or was never into the show before hand and had no idea who the characters were. But the girl , Epic
*And who are you, the proud lord said, that I must bow so low? Only a cat of a different coat, that’s all the truth I know. In a coat of gold or a coat of red, a lion still has claws, And mine are long and sharp, my lord, as long and sharp as yours. And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere, But now the rains weep o’er his hall, with no one there to hear. Yes now the rains weep o’er his hall, and not a soul to hear.*
Me and my partner wanted to see what all the GOT fuss was about and only started watching it 4 weeks ago and we're absolutely hooked. We've managed to catch up to where the show is currently at by watching more episodes than we probably should have inbetween work even losing an hours sleep each to watch one more because that's how good it is. This episode especially neither of us saw coming and we both nearly fell off the settee in shock what a great series it is I think when it's all done I will start on the books as from what I've heard if you read the books first they're full of spoilers.
Jimmy Liddel it's a twisted way to look at it. I mean, the books were the original show, reading them provides you a better understanding of the story, wider informations, more details, it's weird to consider it a spoiler. Anyhow, now the show has catched on the books, so next year, since season 6 is coming out before next book, readers should be concerned that the show will spoiler something that hasn't been written yet. The only thing that gives me hope is that now the show is going towards a different direction: so many things were changed that it's probably going towards a different end. So, if you want to read the books, read them now, cause the last book ends right where episode 10 of season 5 ends.
Charlotte Adams im a guy i damn near cried. i think i might have. but i rememeber re reading the pages again and again thinking holy fuck whats happening!
Hope it didn't put her off - there are some heavy moments post-Red Wedding but nothing anywhere near as upsetting, at least IMO. Shame about Robb Stark too - because he was a fuckload better at the whole military leadership thing than Jon Snow, of that there can be no doubt. He just didn't have a loony super witch or a wildling army(or his sister/whatever-she-is-now) to bail him out.
Jon was the one to bring the wildings and Northerners together though. He was better at getting people to reason with him unlike Robb, who would’ve been fucked from the get go without his mama Catelyn. Sansa not telling Jon about the Vale army almost cost him his life too. Plus he was the prince that was promised, so he was meant to come back to life.
well yes, when the door closes you are thinking "oh something is wrong" but when the music starts its "Fucking lannisters its all their fault, run robert run!"
+Aipe97 Not gonna make myself popular with that, but Rob and Cat kinda had it coming. They both did whatever they wished to do, standing over morality. Freeing the prisoner - not gonna receive a penality for dad. Killing those who took revenge for their killed sons / brothers / whatever, calling it justice. Breaking the oath with Walder Frey. Srsly, the only one I felt really sorry for was the Wolf :
It was obvious even before that when Roose Bolton lets Jaime Lannister go when Jaime tells Roose to " send his regards". Perhaps even before if you're paying super close attention because it was not the Ironborn who destroyed Winterfell but the Boltons. Either way it was a great scene. One I won't be forgetting any time soon.
Not everybody pays particularly close attention as they watch, nor do they remember every conversation about a particular song, or the actual tune itself. I don't see how it was obvious in the slightest. Perhaps you mean the clues are there if you pay close enough attention, but you'd be hard pressed to make a case for this massacre being 'obvious' simply because they play a particular tune, that's mentioned in passing in a few previous episodes, in the background beforehand. Great scene though. You're right about that. Never seen anything like it in TV or film.
its so funny when i was watching i had the completely opposite reaction, i was like was this the infamous red wedding everyone cries about while i was laughing looool i think something wrong with me.
Great reaction video. Could've been better if you were closer to her and if you had edited out those first 2 minutes of well, nothing lol. But great reaction video.
The more you cry, the faster GRR Martin writes. Keep crying.

Much like the character herself: A faint, desperate hope, but it's all there is.
Her face turned the same colour as the wedding lol

The most horrifying part of this video is that the film maker held their phone the wrong way.
