I’m not a fan of black rims at all but they actually suit this car.
I'm always a fan of black wheels but there is something different about the way they "fit" this car.
Waiting on someone to do something different nice rims but everyone had black
I am also not a fan of black wheels but the style looks good. I like a greater contrast between the tires and wheels. I would go for the bright aluminum look in preference to a painted silver. I do however own a car that is black with wide full profile rubber (old Detomaso Mangusta) that looks good with dark grey metallic wheels...(some contrast).

This will look amazing lowered to reduce the wheel gap. These wheels look far better than any of the stock wheel options. Hopefully GM gets their act together for the Z06 and produces a decent wheel option.

The car has adjustable suspension. Just need to bring it into a shop and use a wrench to drop the springs an inch. I like the rim choice.
It's not quite that easy for me because I have the front end lift. It's a little bit harder.

Agreed! That's on top of the 31 pounds that the AWE exhaust system dropped. Over 50 pounds lighter in the rear than factory WHILE looking and sounding better! Win/win. 😁👍

Awe exhaust sounds cool. Mobil tire shop is a nice touch. Saves getting the wheels and tires to the store which with a corvette can be a pain in the butt.
Exactly. The Corvette tires are apparently hard to mount but Adam makes it look easy.

There are so many facets to new wheels and I appreciate your coverage of this. I also love the wheels you chose. Do these BD wheels come with an adjustable "concavity" or are they all the same for the size you chose?
You can adjust the rear concavity but any more concave than what I have will net you issues with the center cap not fitting. Basically, this is the most concave look you can get.

I’m deciding between the BDF25 or Vossen HF7 for my C8 which is finally incoming after almost 2 years of waiting. I have a set of winter tires Michelin 245/35/20 for the front and 305/30/21 for the rear. Any idea if these tires would fit on 20x9 front and 21x12 rear? I wouldn’t be racing in these just some light driving in colder weather

Yes I will be there! Both of my Corvettes will be at AWE at spaces S1 - S6. Stop by and check it out! Tire sizes are 245/30/20 in the front and 315/30/20 in the rear.
I love your wheels but you didn’t say if you transferred the regular wheels that come with the corvette to the new rims, or if you bought both the wheels and the rims that go with this car.
Since the front wheels are 20", you can not transfer the stock tires. The rears are also wider than stock so ideally, you buy 4 new tires as well. I made an update video talking more about what size to get, etc. You can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/Av2UTFDvnuM/v-deo.html

I don't know if You can feel a difference in a car, but lighter wheels on a motorcycle feels like taking weight off of the flywheel! New wheels look great!

I don't believe so. They usually come with the entire XPEL lineup but because of the whole pandemic thing, they won't be there this year. Josh from Blackout Tinting might make an appearance but it depends on how busy he is at his shop.

While I did not think your stock wheels were bad, these are definitely better. Why did you park the car in the shade, when the far area of the parking lot was sunny? Did you not see you were in complete shade? Yeah- light helps.
Yes light helps, that's why I moved to the other side at one point when closing out the video. I didn't want to be in the direct sun due to it being 98 degrees lol
