Same, in most situations there is a leash law for a reason. If it were me I'd probably not say anything and just let them kill they're dog. Its not my vet/legal bills when the dog gets hit. Not my problem.

I refused, so he went to his mother and spun this BS story about how I had stolen her crotch goblin’s game card.
Long story short, the manager was called, security cameras were checked, and Karen and her hellspawn were dropkicked out of the place harder than my aunt’s annoying chihuahua at a family reunion.

Most states have laws that dogs need to be leashed unless in an off-leash zone. This even applies to service dogs. The only expetion that a service dog doesn't have to be on a leash is when being on a leash gets in the way of it doing its job. Like, say someone in a wheelchair.
