I really love videos like this, so many people purge their old work once they start progressing when I think stuff like this is so useful to young artists. Knowing that you can improve and create something amazing even if you start out not thinking much of your art.
Wow, the redraw of the Longtail scene is so good! You've definitely improved a ton. I especially like how Rusty's expression went from "mild concern" to "omg I think he's actually going to strangle me are you all seriously going to just let him strangle me?" lol.
I always enjoy redrawing old art, gives you a nice foundation of what you’re drawing and what you’re improving on. I’m so excited to see your upcoming works Sunny, and I’m so impressed at seeing your progress in art even as someone who doesn’t usually enjoy it. If you want suggestions for your store: pins and key chains. Having recently been to a comic con, they are the types of merch that anyone would buy (unlike phone cases, which need to be specific to your phone or t-shirts which have to come in your size) and personally, are the only types of fandom merch I've ever bought.
if youd like a tip on shading that helped me a lot when learning digital art- ignore it if you've heard it before and just want to do things a stylistically different way of course- making your light and shadow colours roughly opposing each other can do a lot for depth. like, the most common way to do it is a yellow overlay/screen/add etc layer for the light, and purple overlay/multiply/burn etc layer for the shadow

Now that you mentioned that you are working on a new writing project, that makes me want to do the Paws of Stars research faster so that I can actually write the AVOS rewrite I dreamed after I read the arc. I might need a tiny amount of non-badfic practice though.

Hey sunnyfall, Paws of Stars is one of my favorite series and I got very exited when I saw you were making an audio book but it has been over a year, and I am wondering when it might come out if it might still be under work or canceled.
I love watching peoples older art it’s actually one of the things that helps me keep drawing and I often post new ver of old art just to show in fact when ever I have a break through I redraw the same image and lately I feel I’ve improved so quick
If you want my tips
Try new things even if it fails you often learn something (yes yes it’s been said often)
Find a style or styles you see other people use and analyze it to understand why
Start simple rushing into details looks over cluttered
Look up tatorials for you tools weather its pencils or PROCREAT
Try diffrent mediums
Find sombody to share either the subject of your art or art itself with
Draw often (I draw about once a week)

Will the redrawn thumbnail be replacing the old version from the first Trip Through Time video?
I opted not to do that since the speedpaint within the video wouldn't change. It seems slightly dishonest to put much newer art in as the thumbnail for a much older video.
